### "The simplest most affordable cart platform"

February 9, 2026

5.0

The value of Thrivecart for all the features you get is unmatched. Setting up a product and opening up sales is so simple. I do wish reporting and account details were easier and more intuitive to access.

Pros

Thrivecart is so easy to set up and has so many options for how to set up customer payments and billing.

Cons

There's a bit of a learning curve to figure out how to navigate the options. While product creation is intuitive, finding customer data, reports, and account information is more difficult.

Reason for choosing ThriveCart

Thrivecart was the most affordable and easiest to use compared to the other options which were more expensive with less features.

### "ThriveCart Makes It A Smooth Shopper Experience"

April 17, 2025

5.0

ThriveCart is a great vlaue for those who offer Digital and Physical products and have funnels. It could be easier to use but is simple to use. They have great customer support to make sure you have a pleasant experience.

Pros

Easy to use product....supportive of customers.

Cons

Could be easier to use...some changes lately made it a bit confusing like the new cars and funnels but overall really easy to use once you get used to it.

### "Makes hosting my digital products easy "

March 24, 2026

5.0

So far, loving it. Love how my digital products are in one space and it’s so easy to use. And how you can bundle things together

Pros

That I can host my digital products and how it easily integrates with learn. And the sales pages that you can customize

Cons

The UI, and that that sometimes you have to exit out of thrivecart for a section to not freeze when you are updating products in the learn platform.

### "OK, but lacking many main features and abilities for a cart system"

March 12, 2025

3.0

Their advertised as cheap because it's a once only price. However, that once only price is steep for such limited software.

Pros

Does an OK job of creating "carts" and funnels, but that's about it. Even that is not the best, which, if it's your only job, you should be outstanding at.

Cons

Really poor customer service. Do not listen to customers and don't honor their own policies. Buyer beware. Limited cart development, landing pages and funnels.

### "Everything you want for a one time cost!"

May 28, 2025

5.0

I've had several CRMs and Thrivecart only had a small learning curve, with different names for things I'm used to. But once I adapted I found it was quite as good as I had hoped.

Pros

I love that it is a one time payment for all of the features and benefits that other shopping carts pay monthly for.

Cons

That it does not integrate with some of my chosen email delivery choices. I chose one based on a recommendation and it turns out that email system is very lacking. I'll write a review on THAT next!

I closed my business for two years to take care of a sick relative. When I reopened last year, I didn't want the monthly cost as I was in re-start mode. I wanted the time to plan, learn new trends and then implement and the one time fee was very appealing.

### "4 years using Thrivecart. My feedback review"

April 6, 2024

5.0

In 2020 I acquired the life time option with learn+. Back then I desperately needed a shopping cart and wanted to save my business money in the future. Learn+ was still a little rustic, but I trusted that little by little they would improve, it was just a matter of time. In these 4 years, they have never ceased to amaze me as they make continuous monthly improvements and upgrades that allow everything to work and convert better (while actually saving me several thousand dollars every year!). In 2023 I have moved all the courses that I had hosted in thinkific, because even though it meant "moving an elephant", I knew it would be worth it! Not only was there no difference between one and the other, aesthetically and as an experience, but I had surpassed it! Today, all my students thank me for it, since visually and functionally it is extraordinarily prettier and more practical. And at a business level... it meant stopping paying every month for a platform and being able to invest all that money in making the business grow even more! I really recommend it!

Pros

Everything you find in the best platforms as thinkifick or teachble, you find in Thrivecart Learn+, plus, the amaizing team support and high convert funnel system.

Cons

Don't have hosting, and now they are creating the quiz option for courses and more, but the price vs value you get as a business is amaizing!

### "Solid checkout cart! My go-to after my CRM!"

February 12, 2022

5.0

Good, love the features but can do with improvement, especially on the UX/UI side of things. I feel like they are not quite the optimized sales converting cart they claim to be.

Pros

I really like that the checkout page can be custom designed, that it has the ability for a standard checkout for mainly 1 product, a sales cart, embeddable cart or a popup one. I also really like the way that ThriveCart approaches subscription and split pay in a very clear manner for the vendor and the client/customer. It also has multiple subscription options with trial that I really like, and I can create so many types of different plans for my clients. It is very easily embeddable in my Wordpress site.

Cons

I wish that there was an easier way to look at all my transactions, or search via customer/client. I don't make a sale everyday, and the default is always All Transactions Today. I also wish that I can search via customer/client, because you have to look up the transaction first before being able to access a client overview, which is very annoying. Also, the way a client has to update their credit card is a bit of a hindrance, they have to click a button within the Payment Failed email, then enter their purchase email address and then the system sends them an email with the access link. I mean, if the Payment Failed email is already being sent to their email address, why not embed that access link in already? It's 2 more steps they have to take, and so far, none of my clients have done that, I've had to notify them manually. Furthermore, the link to click on in the Payment Failed email is also not very noticeable. There's also no way to restart a client on an exact date, should they request for a pause. You have to pause it by month, so you'll have to calculate the number of months between now and September, for example, should your client wish to restart then. Finally, I prefer not to show the full amount overall paid, only the payment per month, like 6 payments of $245. And to make that the focus. Right now, ThriveCart has "Future payments: 6 monthly payments"... with the "6 monthly payments" in really small text. When clicked, the full overall payment is shown.

### "Excellent for selling a digital product "

May 19, 2022

5.0

ThriveCart is reliable and very effective at maximizing conversions.

Pros

I appreciate that ThriveCart is built for conversions. Implementing ThriveCart and the functionality it provides with landing pages, checkouts, order bumps, and upsells will almost certainly have a big impact on sales and revenue. My small shop experienced a 50% increase within a few months of getting started with ThriveCart.

Cons

ThriveCart is great for selling a single product or a few products, but it doesn't work for shops that sell more than a handful of products.

### "Very intuitive program for selling!"

January 22, 2026

5.0

Thrivecart offers a lot of features that our company regularly needs. It is a program we often pitch to clients needing to setup products, as we've found it much easier than kajabi, and offers way more customization than just doing a stripe payment link.

Pros

ThriveCart is our go-to for setting up products for ourselves and our clients. It's very easy to use, and has a lot of customization and functionality capabilities. It also integrates very easily for payments. Being able to easily have multiple payment options, as well as upsells, is also great.

Cons

The main con we have experienced is experiencing glitches. There has been a few different times we've tried to issue a needed refund, and it refunded the person twice, causing complications in revenue and inconvenient conversations with users.

### "A very good software for a lifetime fee !"

June 25, 2022

I'm satisfied, I could link it to Stripe with a click, the cart is nice, it's easy to use.

Pros

First, you pay only once. Then, it's easy to use, you can create your products easily, you can use it for your online trainings withthe option Learn. I connected with Mailerlite, it works perfectly. Support is quick to answer.

Cons

Some features aren't intuitive, like closing the cart at a certain time : the feature is the design options, I wouldn't have put it there, and you can put the countdown only at a certain place on the cart, it's not indicated, I lost some time to find out why I couldn't use it. Pros

ThriveCart is really easy to use. You can create high converting checkout page with just a few clicks. Creating products and configuring affiliation is also really easy.

Cons

### "ThriveCart is Your Low-Tech High Quality Online Cart Solution"

September 6, 2022

5.0

I love ThriveCart and by now it has either paid for itself, or close to it by all the fees I have not had to pay out to other affiliate networks when I have affiliate sales. I am no design wizard and thankfully ThriveCart employs plenty of them so I can just use one of the many high-converting checkout pages that come with ThriveCart.

Pros

You can craft almost any offer type you need. Free trial, split payment, even flexible subscriptions, recurring sales, discount offers, and “pay what you want” (PWYW) pricing. Mobile sales are a breeze since all the checkout pages and cart pages are mobile responsive. You can craft your own custom pages, use one of the many pages that come with ThriveCart or even have a look at the Community templates both free and premium for an even larger selection. Faster Page Speeds... One thing you rarely hear about is how much faster your page(s) can load in the buyers' browser because of all the applications or plugins you no longer need because they are built into ThriveCart. Since ThriveCart and its functions are all self-hosted and not installed on your site, all that resource load is no longer taxing your site. Plus, if any of those plugins you no longer need were paid plugins, you are now saving money as well as making money with every sale. I've barely scratched the surface of the goodies ThriveCart brings your way. You have the included eLearning platform (LEARN), all the integrations you get, and then you get all this for a single payment. That also gets you lifetime updates. Since I purchased ThriveCart several years ago, there have been a bunch of updates and they cost me zero!

Cons

The only drawback that I've experienced with ThriveCart is the auto-emails that are supposed to be sent out prior to a subscription renewal by customers that used Stripe. When they use PayPal, the auto emails work perfectly, I can even choose from several options. This is not a super big deal because Stripe has its own auto email notifications I can setup.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing ThriveCart

ThriveCart has a single payment for lifetime access and updates. Plus ThriveCart has payment integrations like Google Pay and Apple Pay that when I purchased ThriveCart, Samcart did not have these payment options.

### "A shopping cart app worth the investment"

April 26, 2022

5.0

My experience with ThriveCart has been amazing because of how easy to use and implement with my other software. I know that I made the right choice for my business.

Pros

What I liked most about ThriveCard is how much I could customize my sales pages down to the colors, fonts and even how the cart deployed (as a stand alone page vs a pop-up). I also loved all the built-in marketing features such as countdown timers, coupon codes and the option for affiliate marketing.

Cons

Honestly, there hasn't been any downside to purchasing ThriveCart. The upfront investment may seem like a lot, but it's only a one-time payment vs having to pay upwards of $99+ monthly like you would for comparable products. I was able to make my investment easily back in the first month of integrating ThriveCart into my website. It has already paid for itself 40x over.

Alternatives considered

[SamCart](https://www.capterra.com/p/204117/SamCart/)[Shopify](https://www.capterra.com/p/83891/Shopify/)

Reason for choosing ThriveCart

I chose ThriveCart because it seemed to be the best value for the overall cost. SamCart was a runner up, but it didn't offer the cart and checkout customization options that I wanted. On top of Shopify's monthly cost, to get any additional functionality with Shopify, you have to pay for each app you add monthly. It just didn't seem worth it.

Switched from

[WooCommerce](https://www.capterra.com/p/225601/WooCommerce/)

I switched from WooCommerce because I did not have the flexibility to control the design of my product pages. Since switching to ThriveCart I can create custom-designed product pages and simply embed my ThriveCart button for a seamless user purchasing experience.

### "Great shopping cart for Infobusinesses"

March 24, 2022

5.0

It's a great tool for a one time price : conversions and AVO focused, plenty of automations, basic scarcity/urgency support.

Pros

I like that it's aimed at increasing conversions and OAV with many payment gateways (stripe, paypal, applepay, ...) and upsells/downsells/bumps. With the new page editor, you now have a lot more flexibility than with the old template system. You can also integrate it with most autoresponders and membership areas (or use zapier/webhooks if your system is not natively integrated with Thrivecart) which makes for a smooth product delivery experience. Support is super fast and friendly, FB group is also very helpful and supportive.

Cons

The API is still quite new and rough around the edges : It's quite cumbersome to route customers depending on what they purchased (main product, bump, upsell...). On occasions, we have had transactions that were not registered properly between Stripe and Thrivecart which confused our support team and customers. The product list gets quickly cluttered, there is no way to filter, tag or put product in folders for easier access. It gets even worse when you see the clients products under your master account. Transaction search is somehow cumbersome, especially when you have to find out exactly how many active subscriptions belong to a customer (so that you can refund/cancel the duplicates). Having a VAT matrix would help to chose the proper item category for tax purposes : it's not uncommon to charge the wrong amount on your first foreign sales.

### "Simple enough"

April 6, 2024

5.0

ThriveCart has been exceptional. The reporting is excellent and includes items such MRR so it's easy to see if we're on track.

Pros

ThriveCart does way more than I currently need it to, but having said that, it was very simple to set up, and now all my products are sold through it. It has never let me down once during all the years I've been using it (from 2017 onwards).

Cons

Easy to use, great value for money, easy to optimize your checkout pages.

Cons

They oftentimes have issues and they do not fix them! I have an issue with files on the affiliate products that are not being saved and auto-deleted (not by me) that has been going on for over 1 year. I also have multiple instances of sales that have not being registered on Thrivecart (but I have the data from Stripe/Paypal). This is also a multi-month-long issue that has not been fixed. In brief, they acknowledged the issues, but they never fixed them. I've also made new feature requests and nothing ever get added to their roadmap.

Offloading all eCommerce functionality from my Chi Kung website. Provide a well-designed user interface for the Checkout process which is well integrated with the Chi Kung website.

Pros

ThriveCard is the perfect eCommerce Platform if you don't want to set-up all the nitty gritty details by yourself. The one-time charge seems to be quite high at first but saving transactional costs pays off quickly, if you run an online business with active customers.

Cons

5.0

Pros

I chose to use ThriveCart so my clients could pay with recurrent payment options and I am very satisfied with that feature: everything runs smoothly, I can have access to invoices, pause subscription, cancel, reimburse partially or totally. The carts we can build give us the opportunity to start our project and getting paid before setting up a whole website.

Cons

So far, I don't think about anything I would add especially since Learn+ arrived. You can host and run a beautiful online course website with partners, subscription and payment plan for a fraction of some LMS.

### "Sales funnel with shopping cart services all rolled into one"

March 25, 2022

5.0

Pros

What great about ThriveCart is that it stand alone without any support of a website. Just think about the artist that may offer services or practitioners that may work out their home. If you're just starting you can easily set up a cart with a drag and drop builder with order bumps. It even has upsells that can downgrade if needed. Obviously if you have a website it integrates well with elementor, thrive themes, divi builder. Up to 37 tools to integrate your payment with stripe, PayPal and any membership ship plugin. If you want a great sales funnel cart builder then look no further!

Cons

There's not much to dislike. Overall great cart.
