Procare Solutions has what we need - and our parents need - to communicate, interact, and feel like they are a part of their children's day. We as the administration use it everyday, usually by desktop but sometimes via app, to help communicate with parents and have it for our licensing authority when they are here as well.

Pros

We have been using Procare Solutions for a few years now. For the value of it's subscription, it really does mostly everything you need to ensure your child care center is operating smoothly. It's pretty easy to use for both the parents and the staff, and allows us to update as needed. It is excellent for assisting in student management, and now has the new feature to look at all the rooms and help with capacity and placement dates. Parents use it as a form of communication to the teachers, and this is the number one use of it. The user interface is pretty easy to learn. Customer Support can sometimes have some long waits, but things are taken cared of pretty quickly with them. Working on new features with the team is always fun too, to see our side of how to use the app, and they take the feedback seriously.

Cons

I do think there is some updates that are much needed on the app still. They do have a feedback form that can submit ideas for these things. I also believe that sometimes it can be a pain to get some of the reports for things, and my staff doesn't like this as much, but once you get past some of it - it really isn't too hard to set up.

Tasks and students are clearly defined, search bar is intuitive.. takes some practice toggling through task bar for daily parent chat and pictures, but easier with time..

Pros

The overall management of both enrolled and in attendance at the center..easy for parents and staff to see by classroom, check in and out .

Cons

Parents' phones sometimes can't scan QR code, or access site while at front desk check in/out.. that may not be the app, though .

We transitioned after the pandemic and now feel that we could help a parent troubleshoot anything they have experience but we also love the support procare provides.

Pros

Procare continues to be easy for admin and teachers to manage. Parents enjoy options to maintain separate communications with teachers and staff. In addition to the communication features, payment is also easy to set up. Staff likes the ease of us especially at times when lots of data needs to be entered ex: meal times, attendance on playground, etc.

Cons

It is more expensive than competitors but our staff really likes it's ease of use especially during busy times.

I have been using Procare for many years now and am quite satisfied. Additionally, if the clients are coming from a location that also used the software, then they are able to just change locations and not have to create another account.

Pros

I really like Procare Solutions' ease of use. My staff and my clients are able to utilize the software with minimal assistance.

Cons

My staff and I are not able to verify if the recipient(s) have received their messages. This is particularly important if the messages are urgent.

From the morning routine, it is very easy to enter every activity in the accurate time. to the evening after nap and diapers changed. The observation helps the parents to understand the milestones and the goals children met every time they are doing the activities.

Procare is easy to learn. I don't think there is anything i would really change about it, except maybe to make a way that the apps make sense for my needs.

Pros

It makes student management much easier than pen and paper. I lile that it has several options and we can add choices if we need to.

Cons

Sometimes I want to take more than one picture and it only lets me do one or if i want to do more than one then it does one. An option to choose would be nice.

I like that we can do so much within the application, we don’t use some of the features, such as the camera due to so many families do not like their child’s pictures taken.

Overall I've been using procare at my daycare center for almost 3 years now and before this center I worked at another who also used procare and I've always thought it was good to use

Pros

Easy to learn how to use, communication with parents through messages, helps track bottles throughout the day

Cons

Sometimes the app doesn't work or logs me out of it which can be time consuming sometimes if the password needs to be reset
