The response to questions or problems is immediate and we always feel supported. I am so glad we took the plunge and started our Procare journey over eight years ago. It was a big expense for our little center at the time, but so well worth it and beyond our expectations. We've grown and Procare has made it easier for us. Pros It has made life so much easier! Just the attendance tracker, and teacher sign in/out has given our center streamlined processes and reports that we never had with our previous multiple systems and software. Everything is consolidated and so much better! Cons Having the time to tap into all that Procare offers! I only scratch the surface of the reports and tracking that I could be doing. There are so many benefits, too numerous to name, and I only use a fraction. I need to learn more! Reason for choosing Procare Solutions I do not remember the other products we considered, but none were as brilliant as Procare. Cons The one thing I wish ProCare could do - was allow children to be registered for events - like a week of summer camp here and there or a ballet program. I wish parents could click somewhere in there profile to view all the things they can register for without me having to create a manual invoice. So when they register - the invoice autogenerates. It really is an awful inconvenience for adminsitrative staff. Pros I love the fact that parents can pay on-line with a credit/debit card. In the past parents paid in cash and having money on-site always made me nervous. Cons Each week we have to reconcile parent accounts which is a big hassle. Lots of times it won't come to our attention until a parent complains about their account not being up-dated. It has gotten easier with the payment reconcile button that was installed recently, but we then have to report the changes to our finance department which is a difficult process. Pros Going paperless with procare has helped communicate to parents what their child is doing throughout the day. Cons It would be nice to have an option for mutiple languages to translate. We started a daycare with absolutely no experience, and this has made so many things easier for us! Pros Seemless handling of our center. I love that it handles the billing/receiving for us as well as gives us the ability to communicate with parents 24/7 for all to see. I love that it pairs with Gusto in order to handle payroll of our staff. Cons I feel like there are some things that could be more user-friendly, but I'm not in IT, so I can't really say. ProCare makes it easy to look up child birthdays, parent phone numbers, tuition balances, and check approved pick up people with only a few clicks. Pros We love the ease of inputting our family information and posting/processing tuition. It is so nice to have all of the information we need in one program, and it is an easy program to navigate. Cons We wish there were more options for printable reports. One example would be a weekly roster that would show which kids are absent. November 21, 2024 5.0 I had used ProCare in previous jobs but never before as an owner - the transition to not being able to rely on administrative support was difficult, but ProCare's team made the process easy related to using ProCare. Everyone I worked with was pleasant and helpful, and I felt safe and supported asking questions. As a small business owner, it's great to feel like I still have the support of people who are experts with this product and not have to pay someone extra for that support. Pros ProCare is easy to use for beginners but also provides opportunities for more detailed, advanced utilization as you grow with the system. Being able to utilize one platform for parent communication, child managment, billing/tuition collection, and employee management is a time and money saver. The price is excellent for all the services ProCare provides. Cons It would be nice if we could customize the color scheme/fonts on the platform to be more visually appealing or match our company brand. November 8, 2024 5.0 I love Procare and have been using this software for over 20 years. This software has evolved over time, and the recent updates and additional functions keep us up to date. Pros provides all the features and functions you need to improve your daily operations. We have found the user interface to be exceptionally intuitive, so it was easy to train new staff. We also love the seamless integration with our existing systems. All in all, Procare Solutions delivers on its promise to make daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. Cons Overall, the system works well for me, but I did have some occasional delays, such as some minor delays with the program not loading. However, the technical issues are resolved quickly by the help desk, so that wasn't a huge problem.
