Overall, Procare has been great and has provided my school with a streamline way to document a child's day and stay connected with parents.

Pros

I like that it allows for in depth parent communication. I also like how easy the system is to use.

Cons

There are a handful of limitations within the desktop version for administrators. I wish there was an easy way to mark children absent. I also would like to see a higher quality documents system.

### "A Great Way to Communicate "

Pros

I am a childcare provider, and I love using it to send videos, photos, and messages to families throughout the day.

Cons

I wish in the app it would switch the screen to landscape mode on phones and tablets. I also wish in the app, for the messaging feature, it could save a draft of a message in case I have to put my device down so it will save my place when I’m ready to come back and finish my message.

Overall it has been a good experience. Not great but good. There are still some issues to be worked out. Like what Icons mean, Subsidy billing issues, and enrolling students into two classrooms.

Pros

We have been using ProCare for a few years now. Customer service is quick and pretty helpful on most questions. I like that they will accept suggestions to make the software better from a user's end.

Cons

The bugs that happen. There seems to be a few problems with the parents payment function that involves Tuition Express.

I have been with Procare since 2009 and I feel as if I have grown with the company. They are constantly adding new features and ways to make my life easier.

Pros

The customer service is amazing. They are quick to respond and help you use the software to best benefit your needs.

Cons

There’s not really a “least” but if I had to pick I would say that there is so much at your fingertips that it’s hard to use every feature.

Pros

I did not like the platform or interface. It was expensive and did not meet our needs.

Overall, Procare has made our lives as both administration and teachers so much easier!

Pros

ProCare takes care of all our needs in one easy platform. From tracking who is signing a child in and out, attendance, parent messages, incident reports, diapering, feeding and even napping, we have been able to do away with pen and paper for basically all classroom documentation. As administration that does not work hands on with billing, I am still able to see in-depth explanations to parents accounts and assist them when they have issues.

Cons

As with any technology, there are glitches. Things as simple as Procare not catching a child's birthday and changing their tuition accordingly has to be monitored because it frequently does not work. Other than that, our only downfall is that if wifi goes down, we lose some capabilities as cell service is not great in our building and many parents rely on a tablet kiosk for signing children in and out.

Pros

Since the cloud was created for Parent Engagement it is so much easier to share information with the parents.

The set up can take some time, if you don't have the information added to the desktop

Our overall experience with Procare has been very good. We are amazed at what their system offers and for the most part how easy it is to navigate.

Pros

Procare has many attributes that help to make our facility run smoothly, however, the top 2 things that set it apart is when I have a question with the software I am always able to get an answer quickly. I use the chat feature A LOT and I have never waited more than 15 minutes. It is quick and allows me to figure it out quickly. They also listen to you. When you give them feedback about things you want included that they do not yet have or if something needs to be adjusted in their system, they listen. They are constantly releasing new updates and at least 3 have been items that I had asked for.

Cons

They have many training videos, but I wish they had question-and-answer sessions with a live person for each of the items on the site. I know this would be difficult because of the sheer number of items they offer, however, at one point this happened because I was the only one who had signed up for a training session, and due to this, the leader unmuted us and allowed us to ask questions as he walked us through the training...it was so helpful!

While its a fairly easy system to use, the system lacks in update from a dos style system. It functioned as I needed it to for 10 plus years.

Pros

Procare is a great product for someone new to childcare management that needs a simple system

Cons

When we initially purchased Procare we bought modules and seats for local systems. Then several years ago we moved to cloud based services and minimal features and were then charged a monthly fee. Then about a year and a half ago we were forced to move to the full feature monthly fee even though we weren't using the features nor needed them. The new cost doubled monthly and made us look for a newer product.

As I have said, I have been a very happy customer for over 20 years! I find Procare to be helpful and supportive. I find the reports and data management to be far superior to other products I have used. So much so, I convinced my current employer to switch to ProCare. While I am looking forward to some advancement in the parent messaging/notification engagement I am a very happy customer.

Pros

I have been using ProCare Solutions for over 20 years now. Since the very beginning the customer support has been excellent. The team is always there to guide you and direct you. They are very friendly and patient with me as I am not always that tech savvy! They respond quickly and have always taken our suggestions and tried to support what our needs are.

Cons

When we first began with ProCare, there was no parent interface other than billing and email capabilities. For that matter no program had parent interface back then. With time Procare has added a parent portal, although I feel that it still needs to be made a bit more user friendly. Jumping between desktop version and engagement can be cumbersome. Overall, the parent portal works, I just feel it could be made more inclusive to the rest of the program especially with billing and payments.

### "Procare needs a Facelift "

Procare has been a pretty good resource but as time has gone on there are behind with technology. Their desktop system looks very old compared to other platforms on the market.

Pros

I like the all in one aspect where you can run your entire program using this software.

Cons

I don’t like that the software is only windows based therefore you cannot use Apple products for the desktop version. They are missing a lot of important report run options as well.

We are a 200+ student school that has been in business for over 40 years. We have tried several registration, contact management and accounting software’s in the past. Procare desktop combined with the engagement app for teachers/parents is the only one that has been able to help us streamline our registration, payment and communication processes all in one place. They have been responsive in answering questions and creating solutions to new hurdles. Our office staff is happy with the flexible data processing, our teachers were able to utilize the app easily from day one and our parents are relieved to finally have the ease of access to communication, daily updates and billing that they expect in this day and age. Procare came highly recommended and for good reason.

Pros

The overall ability to handle all aspects of running our school in once place. Coupled with the company's training and support have been unparalleled in our experience.

Cons

The terminology took some getting used to. The individuals tasked with training knew the software very well and sometimes spoke above my level of understanding. However, clarification was always offered and I have never been left with an unanswered question.

### "ProCare is for you!"

I love Procare! 5 + years ago when we were looking at to go from all paper to digital for our administrative and teaching needs, we started to research all the companies providing a single program digital service. Many centers in our area were using a mish mosh of multiple programs to cover what they needed. That was not an option for us. We chose ProCare. It had everything we needed from daily updates for parents to payroll and billing to lesson planning and child assessments. A "1 stop shop" so to speak. We love that this program is easy to use and the customer service is phenomenal. We made the right choice in deciding to use Procare.

Pros

\- Everything we need comes from 1 supplier. - It is affordable - The program is easy to use for everyone. - Parents love the contactless sign in and out option

Cons

\- When Procare has updates to their program we often have glitches that we have to work through, but Customer service is awesome and helps us work through any issues

I think Procare needs to do some updating.

Pros

I think Procare has been helpful, but it needs to improve to meet the demands of the young parents.

Cons

Procare does not have the ability to send messages or Newsletters as an email and a text message. Young Parents today read their text message faster than an email. Also the Procare app is useful but if a teacher or assistant needs to contact a parent quickly, they cannot just touch the phone number and be connected.

### "Super beneficial to have!"

Ever since we have been registered on this app I have found that it makes the weeks go by a lot easier. Before Procare, we weren't sure if our child was napping, how long he napped, if he did good eating. Now, we get updated throughout the day and it makes a big difference. I can now know if he is going to be in a good mood when he gets picked up at the end of the day because we know that he napped and can ask him questions about what he ate during the day.

Pros

Procare is an amazing app that notifies me of what my child is eating for breakfast/snacks/lunch and when he is napping. It is super convenient to have because I love knowing how he is doing throughout the day and know what he completed.

Cons

One thing that I do not enjoy is that it does not allow you to enter in both parent information from the app and that you need to contact the center to do it. It would be a lot better if this feature was made so that the parents can enter their information themselves rather than waiting for the center to do it.

It has gone well. Generally easy to use and figure out. Responsive support team when there are questions.

Pros

I like that it can do so many things, billing, attendance, family engagement, messaging, staff timecards etc.

Cons

I wish that it was more of an all in one rather than the online vs desktop. A one stop shop is really what centers need.
