### "Syncing Concerns"

Overall covers everything I need as a parent but not as much as an admin member. We find that there tends to be a lot of issues with syncing between the desktop version and Procare Connect. I especially don't like how there is so many times where a parent clocks their children out on our kiosk that is synced with the desktop version of Procare but yet it does not show on the teacher's iPads which use Procare Connect so our numbers which is important for ratios are not always matching.

Pros

As a parent I really enjoy that there is an option to send a message to the Office Chat where only the admin is able to see it and a separate option to send a message to my child's teachers.

Cons

I am a member of the admin team that uses daily Procare and I absolutely hate how the desktop Procare does not sync with Procare connect. If I input information on the desktop version of Procare especially things like schedule and allergies it does not automatically sync with Procare Connect. I feel it is very redundant that I have to input this information in two places through the same system.

### "Disappointed After 21 Years of Loyalty"

We’ve been with Procare for over 21 years, and in the beginning, they were truly fantastic. The system was reliable, easy to use, and their customer service was second to none. Sadly, that’s no longer the case. These days, Procare is constantly down or having issues that can’t be fixed without calling support. When you do call, you’re met with hold times anywhere from 45 minutes to over 2 hours, and there’s no call-back option. Once you finally reach someone, most of the time they can’t resolve the problem, and you’re told you need to schedule a call with someone “higher up” — which can take days or even a week. Meanwhile, the system we rely on to run our entire program is completely unusable. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing, especially after being such a long-time, loyal customer. Procare seems to have lost sight of customer care and reliability, focusing instead on signing up new centers and collecting good reviews, rather than supporting the ones who have been with them for decades. After 21 years, I never thought I’d be saying this, but we’re now questioning whether Procare is the dependable company it once was. I truly hope they listen to feedback like this and make the changes needed to earn back the trust of their long-term customers.

Pros

When Procare is actually working correctly — which is almost never these days — it truly makes running our center so much easier. The system itself is very user-friendly and capable of handling everything from attendance and daily reports to billing and parent communication all in one place. The Procare app is great for keeping families connected and makes payments and invoicing simple and efficient. When it functions as it should, it runs the entire center seamlessly. Unfortunately, those moments have become rare, and it’s frustrating that such a great system isn’t reliable anymore.

Cons

As a long-time Procare user, it’s been really disappointing to see how unreliable the system has become. Lately, it feels like it’s down more often than it’s working. When problems come up, they can’t be fixed without calling support, and the hold times are outrageous — anywhere from 45 minutes to over two hours with no call-back option. Even after reaching someone, most issues can’t be resolved right away, and you’re left waiting days or even a week for help. For a system that runs our entire center, that’s unacceptable. The lack of reliability and customer care is truly discouraging.

Our experience has been very positive, we have not had any negative interactions to this point, which always makes us happy. The ease of use for staff and families is always a plus, as we have some staff who are older and may be a bit more technologically challenged than others, but they have mastered ProCare, which is great for our programs as we mandate it's use for all staff,

Pros

Overall, we truly value ProCare as it is multifaceted through allowing us to reach out to families to share messages, emails, or photos of their children during the day to let them know how they are doing. It is also transparent in that all staff are able to see the messages that go back and forth on this platform. It also has afforded us the ability to know where each child in our program is every second of the day, which is great as we have well over 200 children who are constantly moving from one room to another, going outside or a bus line, wherever they are in the building we know at all times from the minute they walk in, until the minute they leave,

Cons

At this time, I do not have any cons that I can think of. We have used ProCare for several years at this point, and I think my entire staff likes using it and finds it to be a better system than Tadpoles, which is what we used in the past.

Over all my experience has been good. I would highly recommend this app to others. It has been a pleasure to use.

Pros

The app is user friendly in most aspects, and makes it easy to communicate with parents during the day. The customer support is always amazing. They work on an issue until they get it resolved.

Cons

The lesson planning area is hard to navigate and a bit clunky to use. When you change an activity it changes all lesson plans for every class in the school.

I have been a Procare desktop and Procare online user for years throughout my childcare profession, from corporate centers to small centers, Procare products has also meet and exceeded the needs for our childcare program. Tuition, billing, tax statements, room ratio, enrollment, leads, Newsletters, Photos, curriculum, messaging, child daily reports, business reports, training videos, "what's new", ProCare emails and updates.... to name a few. : )

An all-in-one product. I love it. Ease of use child and parent management Teacher friendly. Teacher trainings

need a updated presence for teachers to send newsletters. Better boarders and frames. I would like to have Tucker the Penguin/ ProCare SWAG BAG STUFF!!! Door decals of Procare.

No bad i do well with everything. Its been user friendly and our \[sensitive content hidden\] can message us directly in the app which has been nice.

Pros

I like how it connects to our front check in so i dont have to personally sign kids in or out. This helps both the office and classroom to better keep tabs on who's here and where they are.

Cons

In the past we had an app that had a page the displayed all the kids and what we entered. So it would list all kids clocked in on the left and the if you put breakfast in gor 1 kid, diaper for 5 kids activity, lunch, am snack, pm snack, nap it would show at the top and a dot in the boxes for who got things put in. Like a chart itvwould show johnny, tommy, sara hot breakfast but no dot by matt, joe, bob meant you didn’t enter another in that category. Activities would have a number so if i entered 5 activities and it showed tommy only did 3 activities i knew i missed him some how and could cirrect it. With procare i have to ho into each child individually and scroll to see what was entered. The other sight had a great concept with the chart. It was called Hi Momma if you need to see better how it worked

The System is a great tool to assist in the daily operations of a childcare center. It helps to make the job of the teachers easier and a great resource for parents to connect with teachers and administration concerning the needs of their child.

Pros

Taking photos and videos. Helps to track diaper changes, bottles and meals. I also like their newsletter template and the ability to communicate with staff and parents.

Cons

Sometimes the system loses connection but not for long periods. When the system does go down, it's not very user friendly to find out how to get it back running. Once you figure it out, it's pretty simple.

Procare has provided my school with an excellent product and customer service to back it up. As stated above, it has provided a platform that our preschool families have found to be intuitive and reliable to navigate.

Pros

To say that I "like" Procare is an understatement. This platform has enabled our preschool to move from (1) "paper and pencil" registration/enrollment/organization/communication, etc., (2) parent to teacher to director to bank payment processing and staff communication to practically a totally online, but personal experience with our students and my staff- just for starters. It has enabled our preschool team to to join with our families as we send pictures and videos home throughout the school day. Financial reports, for both preschool and families are time-savers. The Procare customer service team is incredible when we have little issues, which are rare. We are thankful for this service and believe that we get great value for the cost.

Cons

It would be unfair to say that I dislike anything about Procare because their Customer Support team is always willing to assist, either by bot "Chat", online "Chat" or human support by phone. When we experience a need that Procare does not provide, there is a means to express the need in the hope that it can be provided. Twice, in my experience, the Procare team has augmented the program to adapt to specific needs from preschools.

We have had Procare for around 10 years. Overall, we are very satisfied. It has been very effective for helping of collecting tuition each week. We love customer support, every time we call they are very helpful and help us solve whatever the issue is.

Pros

We like the ease of use for staff and parents, the child and parent management and the teacher communication.

Cons

We don't like the rising costs of the transaction fees for processing. I know that everything is going up but the rising costs effects our bottom line.

### "Great Software, but Support Needs Improvement"

Overall, my experience with has been positive. The platform is intuitive and offers a wide range of features that make managing our center much easier — from attendance tracking to billing and parent communication. It’s really helped us stay organized and efficient. However, the main area where I’ve faced some challenges is with customer support. At times, it can be difficult to get a timely response, especially when trying to reach my account manager or calling in for help — I've been on hold for extended periods. I’ve also been trying to inquire about adding lead management but haven’t heard back yet. Despite this, the software itself is solid, and I believe with improved support, the overall experience would be even better.

Pros

What I like most about is how comprehensive and user-friendly the platform is. It really helps streamline daily operations and saves time with its all-in-one functionality.

Cons

I do wish the customer support experience was a bit smoother. There have been times I've been on hold for a long time, and I've been trying to get in touch with my account manager about adding lead management but haven’t heard back yet. I think improving response times and support follow-up would really take the experience to the next level.

### "Desktop and Engagement App"

While this is the only childcare software I have used over the years, I have been very happy with the usability. Sometimes it's hard to find what you want, but with a little time and determination you can always figure it out.

Pros

I love how there possibilities for running reports and seeing information offers such a wide variety. Syncing everything to Procare Engagement App for parents is also really nice. One of the reasons we chose engagement as a software for parents was because of the syncing. Whenever I have called the support team they have always fixes issues promptly and with great customer service.

Cons

Something that's frustrating for parents in that if they have a child at more than one of our locations they have different sign in pins for each location. While it's a small problem, I think having a sign-in pin specific to each person regardless of location would be nice. Secondly- and I realize it's a safety protocol, but when we transfer students between locations- have the TE information transfer with the student would be so nice. Again- I know it's for safety reasons, but maybe information like could be accessed with a pin code or password?

### "Procare makes my job easier. "

Procare is a great overall for the director, the finance manager, teachers, and parents. As a director, I am able to view the billing, see who is signed-in, communicate with teachers and parents. I don't use the teacher scheduling feature, but I should check into it.

Pros

I love the Family Messaging feature of Procare for teachers and families to communicate directly with each other. Plus, now there is private message for families that are split. I also like the office messaging for families to communicate directly to the office when needed. I also appreciate the help button and customer support chat. When I have a question, I first try the help button to search for an article to answer my question, if I cannot find the answer, then I use the customer support chat. Once in a while, I will need to go further and talk to a live person.

Cons

I don't love the newsletter feature. I use it and I am glad that there are templates to use to help make a newsletter. But I find that I would like to have more options and additional choices on colored backgrounds. I might need to look into creating a newsletter on a different platform and uploading it to Procare. There are times that Procare is down. That can be frustrating. But we have a back-up paper sign-in when that occurs.

I have purchased Brightwheel for a trial, but ended up not going with them. I chose Procare because of the financial part of things. ALL parties need to be onboard to switch. The financial side of things with Procare are going well, and the thought of switching all of the billing made us cringe. We stayed with Procare.

It keeps everything organized, efficient, and easy for both staff and families. The check-in/out system is smooth, the parent communication features help us stay connected on the procare app and messenger.

Cons

Finding the correct report, not as streamlined and easy friendly as other programs. Be wonderful if we could upload the the immunization records and have them imported into the student management part.

### "If you Don't have ProCare Get it!"

We have been using ProCare for two years now and are always promoting it when we have childcare meetings to other facilities. Having ProCare has been a great help!

Pros

Childcare performance has increased with an abundance. With, being able to contact parents real time through messages, incident reports, photos etc we are able to work more efficiently.

Cons

So far, we haven't found anything we do not like about ProCare. The only issue we have had so far is a couple of times where it has been down and we have had to go back to paper.

At glance, I can see what stusnts are present when I come in, check for messages from parents, send messages as needed and share activities easily!

Pros

I really like the ability to comminicate with parents and share phptos in real time. It allows m to see messages immediately from a parent and I can reach out to them as needed.

Cons

I wish that we could share more than 10 pictures at a time, lol. Not a big problem, just causes me to have to post more than once.

The customer service is quite honestly terrible. I have never dealt with a company that you cannot get on the phone or via email to answer questions.

Pros

The app was easy to use. It was easy to navigate to the reports we needed. Parents like the app too.

Cons

Now that we have issues with our parents getting declined payments (even though they are on auto pay), I cannot get anyone on the phone or even to respond to emails. They are not responding to my parents either.

I love, love using the Procare software to be able to manage the childcare facility. From the beginning, the software was a breeze to use.

Pros

We love the ease of using Procare and using the APP. It makes communicating with parents much easier for our staff and parents. Parents think the Procare app is so "cool" to use. They enjoy the fact of being able to communicate with the daycare staff and to be able to sign their child in/out from their phone.

Cons

There's nothing I like least about using Procare for myself. However, teachers could use more training on how to use the software. Maybe offer webinars for teachers to learn to use the software.

Pros

Great value for your money. We love the features such as; messaging, digital attendance, and the wide variety of activity options (ouch reports, notes, meal, mood, nap, and much more). I love the dashboard that should student ratio per classroom. So far, ProCare has been user friendly and easy to use on the staff side as well as parent side.

Cons

There are a few bugs. When there are loading errors, it makes it more difficult for the parents to log in and access their account.

When I've had to call for help, the helpdesk folks are very kind and helpful. My issues have been resolved quickly.

Pros

The web-based platform looks great and is easy to use. I like that parents and teachers can easily check children in/out of school and individual classrooms. My teachers like how easy it is to upload lesson plans on to the platform, and how simple it is to take and upload photos of the children throughout the day. Parents love that they can see what the child is learning, evidence of that learning, and other events/activities of the day.

Cons

The 'back end' of the software is clunky and non-intuitive. Without extensive experience and training the admin side of the software is not easy to use. It can be extremely frustrating to update. Parents often have trouble updating their children's information on their user interface independently of admin.

The system could be a bit more easier and parent friendly the internet is always an issue and the time difference with EST.

Pros

The service for both customer/parent is always helpful and the reps are always accommodating, the credit card options this year is great with the exception it should be spaces between 16 digits Visa/MV/Disc. That option should populated once you choose the card you are using, Amex should be different, this would help with typing the correct nmbr. I amd glad to see that you can change the amount parent are paying.

Cons

The issue with the credit card processing has become more overwhelming. The wait time for a customer service is always 60 or more minutes. When using the Procare connect solution it always refer you to speak to a rep, (tuition express cases)

Overall this is a great program at a great value. Yes it needs some improvements but all the programs I've used does. They continue to get better and better.

Pros

Customer service is fast and they are so nice. The software is very easy to learn and fast. It's easy for eveyone to check in and out their children.

Cons

The reports you pull are not that good. I don't like the ones in spread sheet. They need to be in pdf form.

It was easy to learn and incorporate in my classroom. I do wish there was a way to blur faces when taking pictures for those children that aren’t allowed to be posted with other children

Pros

I appreciate being able to communicate with parents as I don’t always see them at drop off. Also having information on the profile helps with communication

Cons

I wish that the video setting would allow for longer video. When working in a small group setting many times all isn’t captured

It takes some getting used to occasionally after every update. It also sings you out after every update.

I really enjoy using procare. Forms are easy to find when licensing comes in. We are more organized.

Pros

Gives us an accurate count. Its easy navigate. Everything is all in one place. We know who is signed in and what time.

Cons

Sometimes it goes down but not often. There are times when parents are unable to get into their procare, but we can usually figure it out.
