Overall, it has been great using Procare. The setup is very professional looking and it is easy to find what you are looking for.

Pros

Great customer support, easy to find what I am looking for, love being able to communicate with parents as office staff or teaching staff.

Cons

It would be great if we could customize the reports more, or even create our own that are specific to our centers needs. Another drawback is that we are not able to do patch payment entries for tuition payments. We are part of a university that requires all tuition payments to go through their payment system, so parents are unable to pay directly through Procare. It would be nice if there was a way for us to input all of the payments we receive without having to go through each one individually.

We have tried other applications and although there were pros to them, Procare had the most success amongst our staff.

Pros

has a simplified layout that is organized and condensed to most important features. Fast communications and the ability to post information and update as necessary.

Cons

unfortunately has bugs and glitches that are repetitive and crashes that can last hours

### "Great system but could use some updates"

Overall I am happy with Procare. It is a beneficial system to communicate with parents and provide a daily report. There are some places that could use improvement but it is in general it works well for our classroom.

Pros

I like that it is easy to select activities for children to share with parents and guardians. Parents are easily able to send messages to the classroom as well to let teachers know if they will be late or if their child will not be in attendance that day. As a parent, I enjoy getting the email summary at the end of each day.

Cons

We have had a number of issues with connectivity. It's not a constant issue but does happen on occasion. As a teacher, I would prefer if there were a few more options when it comes to adding bathroom activities. It defaults to diaper and as a mixed classroom, I would like to be able to set some children to default to potty over diaper. It doesn't appear that the push notifications work well on Android as I have never gotten them for my child or my classroom on my phone but my child's notifications come through in the classroom iPad.

Overall, the app is really convenient and nice to have. I do enjoy it more than brightwheel, minus the price.

Pros

I love how easy Procare is to use for both the staff and the parents. The parents are able to get notifications right away with what their child does throughout the day. This provides ease for the parents. I’m able to use the Lead option to manage new children who are interested in coming to my center.

Cons

It is a little more spendy compared to other platforms like Brightwheel. I don’t enjoy the fees that I get changed when my parents decide to pay through the app with a card or bank account. The fees get really expensive on top of the monthly fee to have the app.

The experience has been great! I appreciate the customer support the most. They are quick responders!

Pros

I like the price, it is much cheaper than Brightwheel. Customer support has been excellent, that is actually the reason I chose them. I like the staff management module.

Cons

I accept check and online payments and charge different amounts based on how customers pay. I would like to be able to limit customers who signed up to pay by check to ONLY be able to pay by check, and not use the card payment function. Also, the filtering of students gets a little clunky. In the student module I can't filter by 2 options, like "kids who attend 2 days" and have "allergies." The filter returns "kids who attend 2 days" OR "kids who have allergies" which is a large data set of all the "kids who attend 2 days" OR kids who have "allergies." I need to filter for both, so I want to see "kids who attend 2 days and also have allergies," just the 2 day kids who have allergies.

What I like most about the Pro Care App is that everything is online and I do not have to mess with any paperwork.

What I dislike about the Pro Care App is I wish there was a way to print out the attendance for daily per class.

From the morning routine, it is very easy to enter every activity in the accurate time. to the evening after nap and diapers changed. The observation helps the parents to understand the milestones and the goals children met every time they are doing the activities.

Overall I have enjoyed using it. I have used it both as a teacher and as an admin and the process has been seamless.

Pros

The use-ability has been great! From some of us that have used similar platforms in the past to some people on the team that didn't even know software like this existed.

Cons

Currently Im not able to download the Childs photo. When this came up was end of the year when we wanted to make student year books, however we were unable to download a group of photos by student, class or year. I understand some of the privacy policies come in to play, but something to make this easier for the director level to make even graduation slideshows would be fun!

I LOVE ProCare it is so easy for all my staff to learn in the beginning and they make it super easy to add meals, bottles and diaper changes though out the day

Pros

I love how easy it was to make the switch over we used just use QuickBooks online. Making the change to a childcare specific app/software was so simple and it is so nice to have all our childcare reports/ attendance/ documents in one place. Also the price is great it I've very inexpensive as well as our rates have never gone up!

Cons

When they do updates it can lag at times as well as can crash but they are good about making sure it is up an running asap. There customer support is great and they send out emails letting us know when the app is down and how soon it should be back up

Pros

I like the access and options it gives to teachers and families of children in our care. I appreciate the thorough detailing into what/how information needs to be communicated to parents and teachers.

Cons

Although the product's interface is thorough, there is always room for more improvement. Research into what types of things teachers communicate to their parents on an average day and implementation of new options based on that research would be appreciated. ps the options and interface for photo uploads could use some extra care.

It has been positive overall. I wish there was a way to edit messages that have been sent to parents. Sometimes you find a mistake after sending it and you can only trash it.

Pros

Ease of use- it is user friendly. I like the student management. It makes it easy to keep track of students and families.

Cons

There is not a way to edit the messages that teachers put out to the parents. The office has to trash the message if it's not up to par (grammar and spelling errors, etc.) The billing portion can be tricky- it frequently has glitches.

Overall, we have used Procare for many years and it has served us very well until recently. We have always enjoyed the convenience of Procare but wish it were more efficient as of late.

Pros

It helps our centers stay connected and organized. Parents enjoy getting updates and pictures from their child's teachers.

Cons

Recently we have experienced many times that the software was not working. Many accounts were affected by inaccurate credits either given or left off of their accounts. We have not been able to reach anyone with Procare by phone and it took two days to get a return recall even in a stressful situation.

Support at times is hard to reach a real person. For a billing problem we were having, I called and left messages multiple times and never heard back from anyone. Thankfully the situation resolved itself.

Very very satisfied overall. I was nervous at first about this transition but it has been great and easy to use. I’ve been able to actually teach others on the app!

Pros

I love that the app is very user friendly. It is easy to see what students are in in what room at a time. I can easily manage all students and submit an activity for them at the same time. It is easy to communicate with my parents and teachers. The home screen is very easy to get used to and be able to submit things. I’ve never needed any support with the app! It seems to be a good value for the money it costs each month! Very satisfied :)

Cons

I don’t have many complaints! My only real concern is that sometimes the app can be a bit slow and I have to wait a long write while trying to keep an eye on my kids for things to be submitted.

I like that Procare is super convenient, easy to use. It helps me eliminates paper and admin time and my families enjoy it.

Cons

There’s only one thing that’s not my favorite about Procare but that’s with any electronic system. Sometimes there’s glitches or service is down. If the app is down then we use the desktop version.

Overall, ProCare is the heart of our center and we use it all day every day to manage billing, ratios, waitlists, rosters, etc.

Pros

It connects us to parents and families in real time. We use the message feature constantly to send updates and reminders. For billing it is a safe and reliable payment option, easy to navigate.

Cons

We dislike the new office vs. classroom message feature. Our classroom teachers do not message parents, only admin, so we wish we could just disable one of the message portals. It is super confusing to parents to know which one to use, and we are constantly having to click between the inboxes to check messages. Also, the frequent server errors.
