What we like most was the ease of use and ability to effectively communicate important messages through the app and the capabilities of the app.

Private messaging to Parents that staff cannot see. Also a way to know if a message was read by the parent.

The ability to manage my childcare center as well as my pre-school classes. It really simplifies the record keeping that is required for all state licensed centers and pre-school. You are able to manage the center and bill the parents for weekly tuition.

Pros

Easy to load new students. I like the ability to run more reports in a faster time. I like the break down on printing sign in sheets and roll call sheets. I really like the different choices in statements that you can offer your parents. It is very well priced for the service that you receive. The customer support staff are very helpful and eager to assist you.

Cons

Employee part. I have had new software since July and I still can't put my employees time in like I did with my older version. But no worries I have my old software still working on another computer that I use for employee time sheets. Love Love Love ProCare

### "Assistance with billing formularies"

Josh was a wonderful help to me! He was persistent to return my call several times, even though I was unavailable each time he called. He quickly assessed my needs, and provided the fix that I needed right then! It was something I needed corrected right then, and he took the time to make that happen! I appreciate Josh and his excellent customer support!

Pros

It has many capabilities and is easy to learn and maneuver.

Cons

The reporting methods. I would like to be able to perform functions to multiple files at the same time, not having to enter each individual to make changes. I would like to be able to print reports from the filtering that I do on screen and print that information. Not have to exit and find and create a report to print what I was just viewing. I would also like to have multiple windows open at the same time. Many times I am in a file, and have to jump out to enter another, or stop the function I am performing to handle something else.

I have nothing but good things to say about Procare Software. While it can be costly, it is well worth the value. The amount of paperwork that I have to do is now cut down by 75% and my life is so much easier than it was before the software.

Pros

Procare is an all-in-one software that makes daycare management so much easier than it ever was before. There is such a variety of tools and reports to use that there is no need for another program. There are different modules to add to make the program completely customizable to what your program needs.

Cons

The program can be tricky to navigate at the beginning, however, the support website and call center are so helpful that I usually have an answer within minutes. There are also webinars online that you can watch to help with learning the program.

Procare was quick and easy to install, and training on how to use the program was thorough and very helpful. I use the Procare software daily to streamline tasks and make my program run more efficiently.

Pros

The Procare software makes my job as a preschool director easier and more time efficient. I can do most everything with just 1 program. Online registration is one of my favorite features.

Cons

I wish scheduling was configured differently for when parents register online. I'd like to be able to set a cap on the number of students who can register for a class on a given day and have the software disable additional registrations when a day reaches the cap. The software currently doesn't have that feature.

My overall experience has been positive. Staff and parent messaging is simple and most seem happy with it. I know the first set up as a new client was time consuming and extensive but now that it's in place, it works well for us.

Pros

Once everything is set up and permissions are properly assigned, the communication and messaging system is easy to use. Although some parents needed assistance with their set up, once it is completed, the sign in/out process is simple and easy for leaders to track attendance live.

Cons

Initially, filters and classrooms were a bit confusing to navigate but once you become familiar with the features, it is simple enough to use without complication.

I use the Procare Engagement Software Daily as a teaching tool and as a parent communication channel daily. Procare Engagement has truly changed the culture and structure of my classroom. The most recent integration of the Learning Beyond Paper has been a life changer! Having preplanned lessons and learning materials at the touch of a button has reduced a tremendous amount of pressure, stress, and time as a teacher. I am also able to manage the progress of my students, make assessments, and much more because of the convenience of Procare Solutions!

Cons

I have been using Procare Solution for about six months. So far, I have zero complaints about it.

Pros

Kinderlime has done an excellent job listening to business needs and implementing features we ask for. There are more features for every conceivable activity and tracking need related to childcare, and we love the ease of use. It is the only software we trust to track our daily ratios and staff time cards.

Cons

I personally do not like that there are two or three different sign in screens to click around to--there is the "home" screen of all children (that you can sign them in and out of), an attendance screen that I can sign them in and out on, AND the pin login screen that is difficult to get to. It's confusing for parents and staff.

Overall Experience: AMAZING!

Pros

There are more things than I can list about this software that I love! -for parents: they love being able to check in on their children during the day, it helps them feel a part of their child's day at daycare when they know they can take a peek at the latest activity -administrative: I love that most of my communication, attendance, billing, and note taking is all in one spot! it's also easy to do updates when we are on the go! -for kids: it helps their parents and care provider have smoother communication and therefore, the child is provided with the best care possible -bonus: the customer service is AMAZING! I've never been more satisfied with a company!

Cons

It does have a lot of features, this really is an all in one software. Luckily, I find all of it useful and so I use the whole system. I used to have a calendar app, a sign in station, a billing binder and receipt software, etc., and now it's all in one place.

Makes my work easier and faster!

Pros

There are several things that I love about this program. 1st is the attendance tracking to see total hours of care for each child and 2nd how I can see how many children are in attendance at any given time. 3rd is the tracking for immunizations is so helpful to make sure my children are up to date. 4th is keeping up with tuition fees and how easy it is to see who owes what.

Cons

Occasionally when I am adding a family it won't let them sign in and I have to redo it. Also in the weekly report section I don't like that if someone is out they are not shown on report at all. I would rather see there name and 0 hours than not even show them on the report.

On most attendance reports, it's true that if a child doesn't attend at all, their name would not be on the report¿but there is a report you may find useful. It shows any child who was scheduled, but did not attend. You'll find it under Reports > Standard Reports > Attendance Tracker > Not in Attendance. And, if you're still having symptoms of having to "redo" something so a family can sign in, please give our Tech Support Team a call. They'll help you solve it. Hope that helps!

### "Too much information"

The biggest advantage to us has been in the billing processes. It holds us accountable for our balances and removes a good bit of human error.

Pros

The amount of center management tools is amazing. I appreciate the access to reports because although I love a paper trail, sometimes in the process of a day I lay things down and they disappear.

Cons

There are too many options that look like they are the same information. I would like to see a customized report list. There are things I have not paid for in my option package and yet I still see the report heading. This causes a lot of unnecessary searching for specific reports only to discover that I don't have access.

One tip to finding reports is to click Expand to show them all at once and then press CTRL+F on your keyboard to open a search box. Also, you should not see report headings for modules you haven't purchased. If you're still having that symptom, please contact Tech Support.

### "Nothing Compares"

I have used Procare since I opened my business. At one point I was trying to switch to another company but during the trial period, I just couldn't. Procare has so much to offer and all in one place. It is exactly what I need to keep communication open, run financials and so much more!

Pros

This software does it all. I love how I know when all my students arrive and depart. I know who dropped off and can easily pull from accounts for automatic withdrawal. All child and staff information are stored in the software to keep it all in one place.

Cons

There is so much that it offers I wish there was an easier way to learn and implement it all. There are videos on the website but still can't seem to catch up with it all!

Pros

I do like that I can access Procare from a remote location. The reports are easy to read and most of the tiers that we have are user friendly.

Cons

If you do not use Procare from the beginning it is very hard to set up mid stream. I have been trying to use the accounting aspect of Procare with not a great deal of luck. Also would be nice if Procare was compatible with Quickbooks cloud version. I am finding myself double entering. One other thing that we do not like is that Procare does not offer us the option to add Portfolios for the children. There are many programs in the daycare field that do offer this option.

Reason for choosing Procare Solutions

I was not involved in the overall decision to switch to Procare. In looking at other options, I am still not sure that Procare was the best decision, but we will continue to use it for now.

It is so helpful to have all of a families information at your fingertips. We recently added Tuition Express, and it cut in half the time it took to bill parents and run reports!

Pros

It is easy to enter new families and children as well as employees. The reports are easy to run and there are so many to choose from to suit whatever your needs are.

Cons

I'm having trouble within my organization to send out bulk text messages to parents.

### "Not worth the aggravation"

Would not recommend at all. I was very disappointed when EZ Care was bought out by ProCare.

Pros

The EZ Care version of taking attendance for our after school care program was wonderful. We received excellent training and the program itself was easy to use. However, the ProCare version of attendance was a nightmare. It was not intuitive, we received poor training, and were not able to contact customer service for help.

Cons

Customer service is horrible. We have closed our business and have been asking for our account to be closed. I completed a cancellation form on three separate occasions, and four months later I am still getting invoices for a service that I cancelled. There is no one to contact--phones are not answered and response to emails is slow. I have no point of contact person, so I keep communicating with a different person. I ended up filing a complaint to the BBB so that we can get this issue resolved. As of this date, we are still handling this issue.
