Overall I have really enjoyed working with procare. I wish that there was an easier way for me to access Procare at home on my MacBook. It has made our daycare more efficient and easier for parents to access.

Pros

Procare has made billing and keeping track of daycare attendance so much easier. Instead of taking three hours to complete weekly billing, I am able to more accurately finish it in less than 20 minutes. Parents are able to more easily check their child in and out. Teachers are also more easily able to keep track of who is present and who is absent that day.

Cons

Some parents have difficulties using the fingerprint machines in the classrooms to check their child in and out. Only being able to use the software on a PC computer can be a hassle, especially when Macs are what most employees own and use.

It covered all of the needs of our daycare center.

It's been fine but it could be better but it's a great tool to habe

Pros

YeH fact that I can get info on my child through out the day as a month er. As a teacher I love it because I send parents photos of their children and am able to communicate with them through out the school day

Cons

As a teacher it can be really time consuming to put info in.

I purchased a windows based computer because I was told it wouldn't work with my Mac. Once I had it set up I called customer service and was told he could not understand what the problem was it is so easy to use. I was hounded constantly to pay for the program I did not have as a new business. I called again to hoping to get a better customer service rep and was told well you bought it now it's your problem! I also purchased a lock for my door a bunch of parts in a box and NO help there either!

### "Procare overall function"

I have been using this system for 13 yrs now and although it has improved it still isn't my favorite.

Pros

The digital pad with finger scan system, I also like that It is user friendly.

Cons

The least i like is all the times it stops working for one reason or another. this throws all the sign in and outs off causing us to update the information manually. we also have to turn away paying parents because the system is down and finds alternate ways of collecting tuition and or payments.

It is easier to find the parent in the system--however, it is disappointing that I have to breakdown the system by schools.

Cons

The reporting processes seemed hard to figure out. Not easy to duplicate previous processes for payments

On boarding team was personable and helpful but completely disappeared when it came time to putting Procare into use. Frustrated by all the levels

Cons

Lack of immediate customer support at my fingertips. No one to call for help. Scheduling is not viable without built in ratio caps and waitlist rolls

Procare has. Scheduling component the others don’t have. Yet now that we have Procare we realize it does not have a viable scheduling component for our use and we still have to utilize other programs for scheduling. Frustrating

I am so thankful for ProCare. It has increased parent communication and engagement. Being able to have the classroom data either on my phone or desktop is nice for staffing.

Pros

Having the parents able to clock their child in/our using a QR Code with the app on their phone. Then being able to print the attendance sheets to do billing for DES. Being able to see ratios at my fingertips.

Cons

I would like parents or staff to be able to "like" pictures or comments that we send. However, it does make for more parent engagement with stafff.

Pros

The software is user friendly and fluid. It is logical to use and helps making my job simpler. The team is very responsive and takes care of us every time we have a question.

Cons

A few reports could be added but the team works with us and is willing to make changes when needed and possible.

Pros

I like that ProCare meets our childcare management technology needs across many avenues; Child/family information / attendance tracking / billing / tuition collection on-line & in-person as well as automatic / the new parent engagement app is amazing

Cons

I wish I knew more about the program during our original set-up. Continued use of the program has helped me to learn more about it and I now wish I had done some things differently at set up. That's the only negative thing I can think of.

Wonderful detail options for daily activities - excellent for teacher recordkeeping as well as for parent informtaion.

Cons

We wish that the newsletter had more and varied options, layouts, and better ability for pictures. We have had continued difficulty uploading and editing photos.

We have used Procare Solutions since 2008 and we have been very happy.

Pros

This product works great with our hourly rate. It clocks hours and has the capacity to bill out those hours as scheduled or unscheduled hours, which is 2 different rates. It also has the ability to create great reports for in house and customize statements depending upon a parents needs.

Cons

Our unique hourly rate causes me to have to click on several billing formulas. I would prefer if I could click on all 7 that apply to each student in 1 entry rather than having to go line by line and enter 7 formulas.

Pros

When we first dropped off our child at daycare, we were nervous about what the day to day would look like. Our child had never been at daycare and we were concerned about her. The teachers at daycare continuously update the app and let us know how she is doing. It is very easy for me to communicate with her teachers and looking at pictures of the day to day brings me a peace of mind while I am away.

Cons

I like everything about Procare Solutions, I do wish it was a little easier to find our specific codes to sign her in a and out and maybe be able to just send a message to the teachers not the whole stadd. Not sure if this is just our daycare or the app/

My entire program runs smoothly because of this software- start to finish it can do everything I need to run not only a school but the entire business. From enrollment to payroll and expenses, you're covered!

Pros

You can customize everything to exactly your program's needs and only pay for the services you actually need. The customer service is incredible- they are always available to assist you, are extremely knowledgeable, and efficient.

Cons

The ability to customize can be overwhelming at first because you almost have too much control, but with time learning the program you realize you really needed that ability. The KidReports app is a great idea, but isn't easy to use yet. I'm hopeful with time that the app will continue to be updated.

The customer service to start, but then the amazing capabilities of the software itself.

Procare has been the best thing we have purchased in 20 years! Leaving the payments to the customer to do is the easiest thing ever! Billing with auto billing is so easy and simple.

Pros

The customer service is fantastic but you don't need a lot of it because it is so easy to maneuver around in the system.

Cons

Buying each section separately is always the least. I prefer to get it all in one and pay 1 time per year.

Reason for choosing Procare Solutions

The ease of the software AND the support offered behind Procare. It is frustrating to have an issue and not be able to call someone and explain what you are trying to do. Your wording and what is on a how to website might be completely different. Procare's Support Team gets it!

I have been a Procare client since the days of Turbo whatever that was, migrated through all the upgrades with you guys, but now I am considering other management software options

Pros

Stable platform, extensive data collection

Cons

Depth of menus, takes too long to drill down through menus to find what is needed; Lack of response to some basic and simple report requests, like a 7 day aging report for agency accounts; rigidity of options under corporate accounts (inability to treat them as separate entiries for data storage, etc.)

I am very happy with this app. It is extremely easy to use, and it took no time to learn how to navigate it.

Pros

I use this app as a way to receive communication from my son's daycare. I love that they are able to send me updates including pictures, reminders and daily news.

Cons

I believe it needs to be approved by the admin before it can reach parents which can take a while, I wish this wasn't the case.
