### "The customer service cant be beat!"

I have used Procare since 2004. We couldn't do without it!

Pros

I would not be able to handle the immense recordkeeping if not for Procare! I especially love the billing features that allow me to bill weekly, monthly or daily. I also have a billing function for 3rd party agencies. All selected accounts are billed with just a couple of clicks. Takes less than a minute! Now that we are using Tuition Express we are also enjoying the time savings of making deposits and tracking payments.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve for those with limited computer knowledge but thankfully there's a webinar for that. If this doesn't help, the customer service is amazing. I have been able to contact Procare about anything and they are always friendly and knowledgeable.

Pros

Users and clients may easily communicate with one another, and I enjoy how the time line layout allows users to see how their students' days have gone so far. Reminders sent via direct message and email are advantageous. Automated messaging to parents, tuition payments in the billing section, and ongoing monitoring of the food program's lunch menus. delivering reports as requested

Cons

I wish the calendar option allowed us to enter more than one day at a time, such as if someone was taking a weeklong trip. When inactive, Procare logs out immediately. Being required to log in repeatedly each day is annoying.

### "We're Moving On"

Procare has been an industry leader for a while but seems to lack a desire to innovate.

Pros

Great for tracking immunizations and parent contact info as well as providing alerts for families during check in and check out.

Cons

Procare's greatest asset to us is the door switch that integrates into the computer software. However, there 'safety feature' of not allowing families to check in if they haven't checked out without seeing a director is an inconvenience. It would certainly be nice to have the option to turn this off. Several Directors don't use the fingerprint system at all for this reason.

### "Happy Customer!"

Pros

I love how easy it is to communicate daily activities to families. I am happy being able to send invoices and yearly statements to families and how Kinderlime keeps track making life a lot easier. The Newsletter templates are a bonus too! :-)

Cons

While I appreciate that the Kinderlime program is forever growing and adding to the software, I find that some key aspects are being missed. For example, in the old program an automatic email of a receipt was sent to the families when an invoice was paid, now it is not (even though I was told by "Help" that it was). Also now I am unable to edit/add to a preset item on the invoice process which I was able to do previously. These are both frustrating as it was available before all the recent updates.

### "Kinderlime is easy to use!"

Pros

We enjoy how easy the program is to use. We have several seasoned teachers who are not as familiar with technology, and they were apprehensive about using the app at first. However, they find the app easy to use which made the transition into every day use of the app a breeze.

Cons

It would be nice to see a reminder for feedings/ diapers that can be seen when you look at a classroom overview. This helps teachers plan feedings, so that if four infants need a bottle around the same time, they can plan accordingly. This is something other software has that is beneficial when working in a classroom. Would also like to see an optional drop down menu that we can create for billing, so when we have several checks come in, we do not have to keep typing the same thing each time.

I have enjoyed it and have been using it for years. I do wish it was slightly cheaper as it is hard to fit in the budget but i do find it saves us time so keep finding ways to make it work

Pros

It made sending information home with parents much faster and easier to file for future reference. Much less paper used and time writing down the information we require

Cons

I would love to see caps for children based on hours. As we have a license that only allows 40 hours a month. So if the parent and care centre could be notified that they are approaching their 40 hours and then tell them when they no longer have hours that would be very helpful

Overall , Procare has improved efficiency for my tasks personally and has been an asset for our customers as well.

Pros

Procare makes billing and receiving payments efficient, streamlined and thorough. It also is provides easy means of communicating with accounts as well as allowing accounts their own personal access to their ledger history.

Cons

Some of the report format features are a little restricted but with only one exception I've been able to customize data myself on the data viewer. The wait for representative service over the phone is always a bit long , but not much longer than any other (800) service number. 9/10 times I've called customer service the representatives have been kind, helpful, and thorough. The 1 time must have been someone having a bad day.

I love the ability to track hours, attendance and run reports all in one place for staff and students.

Cons

We’ve dealt with a fair amount of glitches with the system. I am not an administrator so it’s diffidlt to say the source. I dislike that the program only allows two sign in’s at a time. With multiple classrooms using this, it’s diffixlt to manage with this restriction.

As to being limited to two users signed in at once, that is based on the number of seats your center currently has--additional seats may be added at any time by contacting our customer service team. ### "Great tool for Teachers"

Procare Solutions has helped put the preschool database, communication and time sheet features into one program. There is no switching between different technologies and softwares.

Pros

As a teacher, Procare has been an invaluable tool that has allowed me to communicate with parents, track student growth, and easily sign in and out. I love that you are able to send parents messages, newsletters, and pictures all with in the app. No more using different technologies to communicate with parents. The assessment feature allows me to enter assessments and observations for students that will follow the students as they continue in our preschool. The assessments also align with our state's learning objectives. Previously, our school had us write our time in/out on a time sheet. It is so much easier to keep track of our time now that we can clock in and out in the app.

Cons

The thing I like least about Procare Solutions is that the desktop version seems to be easier to navigate than the app. I don't always have my computer with me so I wish the app was a little more user friendly.

I like Procare it allows you to have the kids daily information all in one place and it take away from the paper sign in/out and daily paper summary.

Pros

The think I like most is that I am able to see what my child is doing throughout the day at work. The teacher is able to post what they did in class, meals they ate, sleep times ect.

Cons

I wish there was a better instant messenger or chat where you could leave comments on the main page.

Procare is very helpful with things like keeping track of billing and checking children in and out. It does occasionally have issues running but normally it resolves within about half an hour. Overall I would recommend this software.

Pros

Procare is easy to use. It has many different functions like keeping track of billing and what kids are checked in or out.

Cons

Seems like every couple of weeks it has problems with freezing especially during busy pick up times.

I use to do all the bills by hand that took all day and now with this system it is quicker and more professional looking and it only takes me 2-3 hours to do billing for 100 families. It is so easy to put up reports now.

Pros

It is quick and easy for doing my billing for my program. I am able to input new students in with ease. calculating the billing for each family is easy. If my name titles do not match what is already in the system then I can add my own title for it.

Cons

What I like least is that I can't take a family off of procare after they age out. I have students who are 16 years and older that I am unable to take off. i bought the software to use the tuition express but I was unable to utilise it due to the upper management changing their mind. So I was out this money.

This is an excellent software that is cloud based so we are able to share information updates quickly and accurately. I like that we can have multiple time clocks that communicate immediately.

Cons

Because we are a small nonprofit we only have so much money - we would like to have more user spaces at a time but don’t feel this extra cost is worth it.

I don’t recall the other option Names but ProCare definitely was the best as far a options to the cost.

Overall we have been satisfied and are glad we made the switch several years ago.

Pros

Procare is pretty user-friendly we have been able to figure out most things by just using the software. If we do have trouble with something or need to know how something works we use the training resources available. If we can't find a resource or need additional help the customer support has been great!

Cons

I would say what I would like to see the most improvement would be the number of report templates available or the ability to manipulate the data more to make custom reports. Also, it would be nice to have a more interactive experience with the check-in kiosk for families.
