It would be helpful to be able to look at two reports at once. It would be nice to be able to customize screens even more personally. There server seems to be under maintenance often (although usually on the weekends at night). You have to pay for particular upgrades. I use Kinderlime, not only to communicate well with parents, but also to keep track of everything required by the state to be a licensed daycare! Pros I really like how easy I can file family information and keep records that are required for daycare licensing. Cons Sometimes it is tough to adapt to the updates. However, it's been worth it when I figure the updates out. The software is very stable and it has never "frozen" on us. We do our billing on a DAILY basis because we only charge for the days the child(ren) attend. (We are a school district based program). The program is very flexible with the different modules we purchased. Pros Ability to store a plethora of information and recall it at a moments notice. Very easy to navigate. Good selection of customization for reports. Cons It does take a lot of mouse clicks to enroll a new student. Instead of going back to the child's account It would be nice to be able to change dates in the deposit reports if a mistake was accidentally made. The families enjoy having access to their accounts. Pros I rely on Procare for a number of reasons. It assists me in a lot of different aspects of my business. It saves me administrative time, so that I can continue to focus on my staff and the children we serve. Cons I would like to see the scheduling aspect coincide with the billing process. When my families put in their children's schedules and it is different from their billing method, I have to manually change the amount and it will not allow me to change the description. While we have talked with other companies about their products, we keep coming back to Procare because it is so helpful! Pros Not only is the software very user friendly, but the training and customer support is exceptional. The program is extremely helpful to organize and customize to track and monitor most of our enrollment needs. Cons Nothing really, maybe customizable forms for families to fill out enrollment packets online on the required licensing paperwork. Really there are a lot of features we are still learning about and excited to implement! Reason for choosing Procare Solutions We stayed with Procare because it had the most features and best options for our program. We added the Procare Connect package this year. As technology advances, so does the Procare software. If we have ever needed support, it was always provided, usually with a quick response. We have been and are pleased with the advances Procare has made and is making. Pros This software is very user-friendly. This is one of the features we were looking for when testing the different software for the child care/preschool industry. Cons We are unable to customize some of the reports which are available - and there are a lot! Owner & Directer Alternative Dispute Resolution Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Changed my Life" November 19, 2019 5.0 I no longer have to calculate hours by hand, add up time cards by hand, process many many credit cards twice a month by hand, call each parent personally and stay in the phone for many minutes, print invoices for parents/clients, the list goes on and on! Pros I love that I can see each teacher and child in each class. I love that the billing is all done through Kinderlime and for me. I love that Kinderlime calculates all of my before and after school kids. I love that I can pull reports on anyone that has gone over hours or just pull the monthly hours of the children. I love that my teachers can clock in and out and the hours can be pulled however I like. I love that the Childs day can be logged throughout the day, such as diapers, feeding, ouches, etc and the parents get an immediate message. I love that the parents can communicate with the teachers and I can see the back and forth communication. I love that when I have a question about the software someone gets back to me with an answer so fast! I love that I can plug in potential tours and the status and add them right into the customer database. Kinderlime has saved me long nights of work. Overtime for my employees. It really has changed my life. I looked at doing kinderlime many years ago, and regret not doing so. Cons So far I love everything about Kinderlime! I do wish it was more intuitive and user friendly. Pros The ability to have all the information and reports is there. Having employees clock in and out has been a game changer. I have used Procare for over 20 years and love it. Pros We love this software for our preschool. It works so nice with what we need to accomplish for our center and parents. The software lets me do the computer work in a short amount of time. Because there is so much other things to do than just the accounting part of the job. It is so easy to use and Procare is so helpful when you call and ask questions. They even have a lot of videos on line that are easy to see and explain everything to you. Cons I have not found anything that I don't like about Procare software. The thing we have the most problem with is the internet going down and that's not Procare's problem. Review Source PD Pam D. We do not have all the modules but most of them. We work within Procare 80% of our day. We have recently converted to V10 and are working often with Support to help us with or little challenges. Pros We have found the video's to be awesome! The help feature is the Best! The helpfulness and person care from all the support staff is A+ !!! Love Remote Access by the staff!!! Cons It's a challenge learning all the new buttons and new reports but at some point it will become second nature. County ledgers did not transfer correctly and had missing data. Thankfully Support has taken it over to work on to see what is the best and simplest solution for our specific situation. Procare is a great app to see my son's daily activities at daycare. Autopay made our life easier to send payments on time. Pros I loved this app. My son's daycare provider used it. I loved that I could see pictures, comments of my child's daily activities. I could save pictures and videos. The payment was also sent through the app, it was a great option to put it on autopay so we wouldn't forget to pay every week. I also could send messages to provider and upload necessary documents. The tutorials are fabulous and I would highly recommend the software. Pros Payroll through Procare is my favorite feature, but every aspect of the software is amazing. I can track full time enrollment hours, watch from my dashboard my “live” ratios so I can make staffing adjustments as needed. I am able to quickly provide my customers receipts and track data with a variety of forms available to my email through the system. Cons The system is so comprehensive that it s difficult to learn all of the aspects. What I use the most was very easy to learn, but I know there is more that I can use - it is just so vast that I don’t have enough time to learn it all. My response time to my questions have be great and the customer service has been nothing less than attentive even at off times during the day. Pros Everything needed to manage my daycare. Ease of communicating with parents and caregivers. All in one billing, marketing and lead management. Great customer service and awesome response time (and I have had questions pop in my head at 2am...lol). Cons The only cons I have would be not having the calendar usable on my desktop. It's only usable on mobile devices. Not having multiple online lead forms as far as inquiry, registration and waitlist forms. I have to adjust my forms throughout the year to accommodate the needs. Inquiry forms are less detailed but registration form requires more information. Therefore a parent inquiring would be hesitant to complete a more detailed form. Has ability to print more reports on staff, which we did not have capability wise prior (DOB's, sign in/out, roster, etc). Pros A variety of capabilities available of reports. A central location for staff data rather than multiple spreadsheets which was used prior and manually made. Cons It can take a while to train yourself on how to use and adapt to needs. Manual does not cover all areas thus you need to search site for support or call. There are a few areas needed to be custom made in reports. Be nice to tweek the layout of some reports at times but then again just export it out and customize the report in the end. Reason for choosing Procare Solutions Gained more for the price as stand alone units cost as much or more but did not provide as many features.
