Pros This part of the software was an option that we held off on for several years. When we finally started it, we found out very quickly how great it was!! We would never go back to checks and cash for our payments. It has simplified our work and saved us many hours of work trying to collect fees. The entire staff at Procare is wonderful and will do everthing they can to make the programs work for you. They have always been so helpful and responsive when we have questions. November 19, 2019 5.0 We love being able to keep track of all of our attendance and being able to pull up any students record to see when, the times and who picked the student up. Pros Love this software because we are able to keep track of 100's of students on a daily basis. We can also keep track of students and their attendance. Kinderlime also notifies us anytime there is an issue and they always have it resolved in a short amount of time. Cons The biggest downfall we have is the reports and not being able to get all the information we need on said reports. Pros All information in one location, easy to print classroom rosters, projection for future enrollments/classroom numbers Cons Not an annual roster by classroom option (Each needs to be done monthly), past rosters are not accurate if a child is "hidden" or "withdrawn" from the program, takes some searching through possible reports to find a report that will give you the information you need in a format you want it in. It has many features; reports, attendance tracking, billing, family information and email lists. Cons Overall we like it, but have found that it takes a little bit of time to figure out. For example, they have so many reports that you have to run each one to finally figure out what you are looking for. Sometimes not all the data comes through, certain students are missing and you have to go back into that students account and change a setting. Cons I wish it was more accessible from a iPad and that you could check employees in & out along with children on the iPad. Everyone we have ever had to call and talk to has been extremely helpful Pros Touch pad sign in and out has eased billing and the cumulative tally of staff working hours. The system has been incredibly useful in this area, making it user friendly. Also we love the tuition express. It has cut down on one staff position due to the ease of deposits made automatically, no running to the bank and no return checks! Taking payments by credit card also makes it easier to receive payments. Cons Not being able to drill down into reports to find what specific totals include. Review Source KP Kristin P. It automates and streamlines everything from what we do in the office, to parent and teacher communication and reports plus lesson plans! Pros We love how easy it is to integrate most everything we need - automated billing, staff timecards, reports, and leads. Cons I wish there was a way to schedule children based on what openings we have in the classroom. I have to create my own registration mapping and I feel like this is the last missing piece of the procare software. Pros This software is easy to use and understand. It is also well organized and is simple to use. When I first started this job, I was concerned about the "billing" that I was going to have to do weekly, but it is now one of the easiest parts of my job and I enjoy doing it. Cons The thing I like least is having to change my password often. It takes me a while to remember my new password. I can set up billing, scheduling and rosters so I am in control and I know exactly whats going on. Pros I love the organization of the software. I often have to look for something in a moments notice and the ease of knowing where everything is helps a great deal. There are many functions and once you learn how to use them, they are very helpful. Tucker the penguin is also so festive! Cons Sometimes it can be hard to navigate when I am looking for something. It is being improved on all of the time as they are now moving to the ability for us to do daily reports, etc. through this same program. Tech support used to be a problem, long waits, not open at the right hours we needed, system was down a lot. Good news is that these things have improved a great deal over the past months. November 17, 2020 5.0 Before we implemented sandbox, we were still using an outdated Windows feature to keep track of our childcare data. Sandbox made this job so much easier. I love it! The best thing is absolutely their customer service! Pros Having all the attendance and child information easily accessible at your fingertips is the best! Their customer service is absolutely fantastic. There is someone always available on live chat and it is person I've seen or probably emailed or talked to before! I have been in many other data management software systems for other employment and this is very simple to use. I feel confident clicking around to find what I need and not making mistakes or entering bad data. The customer support team deserves 6/5 stars. They are so, so, so phenomenal. Everyone on the phone is polite, has excellent customer service and is there to help answer your questions and teach you how to do the task so you can remember for next time. Really love this product! Cons I have the desktop software that also connects to the app on my phone. I wish the phone had the "Live Room Status" back- it was very easy at a glance to see how full my rooms were without a ton of clicking around. The only struggle is the desktop software takes a while to load/open. This could be my computer issue and not a software issue, though. Review Source HL Hannah L. ProCare saves me so much time with its variety in reports that can be run with the click of a button, with all of the different modules that can be added to our account, and with the neat features like the Keyless Entry System and Check In/Out kiosk. What I appreciate the most, though, is the professional appearance it gives to our center. The parents love it almost as much as I do! Pros I appreciate the webinars available for all of the different aspects/modules ProCare provides. The customer service reps are always very good about directing me to what to look at or to do remote assistance. I appreciate that I can figure things out at my own pace as well. The ease of contacting parents. Set up. Pros I have only been using and training my staff to use this program for about a month now. I find that it's real easy to navigate through and it was super quick to get the students info that we support crossed over from city side to Kinderlime. We needed this program to not only track attendance & meals, but the real deal is the ability to create lesson plans and share them with the parents. The stakeholders is what we needed to bring closer to our program, and I believe that this app will do just that! First week of sharing our programs lessons with parents, and I'm already getting positive feedback! The ease of being able to contact a parent with photos, how their child's day is, or an injury, is so much easier now that I don't have to pull out an over-sized binder and search for the correct contact info. Cons I don't like that there is only one time frame in which I can create a prompt when students are being signed out. I have 2 different time frames in a week 12:20-3:00 and 3:05-5:00 in which a prompt asks the child's parents why the child is being signed out before 3 or 5pm. The program only allows one time frame. We made that decision in 2012 I think. It helps with streamlining day to day functions. We were able to do away with the time clock! We have accurate sign in/out information at our fingertips. Our parents love Tuition Express! Pros The ability to do so many things. Cons The way some of the items are stated makes it hard to know what you are going to get if you use it . Some of the reports are hard to know which one to use to get the information you are looking for at that time. I use it to manage families, kids and billing/collection, as well as staff records. Pros It has a lot of features. It can do almost everything I need. Cons Support is good but difficult. Every time I have to call for support, the waiting line is over 30 min. Also, the price of hardware like check-in devices or card readers are higher than the average market.
