Owner / Teacher Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Kinderlime has been a blessing for family child care program. I love it and so does my parents." May 25, 2017 4.0 Easy to use software that helps me manage my business fast and efficiently. Kinderlime makes my small business look better than other home daycares in my area. Pros I love the capability to upload my newsletter and helpful resources to one system then press send. Everything goes to all my families. I am able to post pictures and families can share them immediately to their facebook page. I am able to do my tuition and accept payment with Kinderlime. These program has just about everything I need to communicate with my families and manage my small business. The best thing is the price! Cons The only con is that for billing it uses Stripe however I use Paypal. Paypal doesn't charge me a fee to invoice my parents but Stripe does. So instead of using Kinderlime Stripe process, I use Kinderlime to track payments and send invoices then I have parents make payments through Paypal. Review Source PL Peggy L. It is easy to learn and if I have a question, technical support has always been amazing. February 2, 2018 4.0 This software provides our facility with accounting capabilities and child/staff scheduling. Pros This software is user friendly. Procare has wonderful on-line tools to help you with any questions you may have, and their customer support goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend this program for Child Care/Preschool Centers. Cons The initial sign on time takes a few minutes. This may be our own system capabilities or the software size. This has freed me up to take care of other tasks without interruption. Pros I love the bulk billing function that in a few clicks I can bill all of my accounts at the same time. I also use the fingerprint check-in which my families love and makes them feel secure in leaving their child with us. Pros My favorite thing about procare is that I have tabs on my child in school all day if needed. I get notifications on how hes doing , he routine, when he is signed in and out. Pros I love that this program can take attendance, allow parents to check their children in/out without having to keep countless paper copies. It also allows you to keep track of staff hours. Staff members can clock in and out as well as track their total hours for the week. Cons The code that each person revceives to register in the program is only good for so many days. Pros the biggest time saver for us is in invoicing and billing...saves time, easy to use, quick to process. Record keeping for family profiles is also very good and easy to use. Cons For the staff time clock, the inability to add shifts for staff to compare to their actual time worked, then auto calculating their hours worked is something that could be added to save time...we still have to manually check their hours worked against their assigned shifts. Also for immunization tracking and reporting it was great. Many reports needed for Health Services in AZ were great. Pros All the modules that you can get to use it for all aspects of the childcare industry. It was easy to use and make adjustments to fit your specific business. Did not have to use support often but when needed they were excellent and efficient. Cons At this time I cannot pick any part of the software that I used that I had any dislikes for. We store all families information , billing, staff information and time clock as well as logging and tracking immunizations. It one program for all your needs! Pros Easy to use and update. I love the secure and easy payments too. Cons There is nothing I didn’t like. Once in a while we would be offline and that’s frustrating but their customer service is great! They are responsive and knowledgable. They always resolve the issues I have experienced quickly. Pros For parents, it is very simple to understand and use. They pick up using it quickly and get notifications when their child is picked up by other caretakers or carpool. This make parents feel safe knowing where their child is. May 25, 2017 5.0 We went from completely paper-based to electronic in less than a week with a student body of 160. In prior years, the manual calculations and billing were not tracked electronically which lead to difficulty with so much, including providing annual childcare fees and payments for HSA reimbursements. Having this information at the parents' fingertips has saved so much time for our school. As a non-profit, our "employees" are not paid. Typically these wonderful volunteers are busy moms that provide this service. Pros Although we have a difficult fee structure, it is still far more accountable to download the data, add our fee structure and then import the charges. I love the online access for statements and invoices. This puts the power in the parent's hands to access the data they need when they need it. Cons 1.) I really don't like the inability to upload non-electronic payments. 2.) The reporting needs a bit of fine-tuning to be able to pull data based on various ID types (family, student, KL). 3.) We'd like to be able to apply discounts for multi-child families with the billing feature. Cons some times there is an update or just some outages which throws of the signing in and some one needs to go back and input all information's. It gives the center the look & feel of a professionally run outfit. The fact that you can access it from a laptop on vacation, and quickly take care of a few issues, is a huge plus. There are many additional elements that could be added. For example, a biometrics unit, security door release, etc... We have only added modules. The additions have only improved our way of doing business. Pros Procare is easy to use. From start to sailing alone, there is always support. The tutorials and the community are great resources. Their newsletter is keeps you informed and updated. . . and it's roughly once a month, not three or four a day! Some are extra, but at least they are there if you need them. Although it's a large software, it is still customizable to look and feel and perform like it's your own software designed just for you. Cons We didn't care for the classroom reporting, so we opted not to use it and we stayed with Tadpoles. Also stayed because Tadpoles is now part of Teaching Strategies Gold. This helps with our accreditation process. Pros Sandbox Software is easy to use and the customer service is outstanding. Records and data are compiled in an easy format to learn and use. Cons Integration and transitioning to using this software was somewhat time consuming, but well worth the time. Some of the billing options are not as convenient as they could be. Director Education Management Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Using ProCare Software" October 9, 2019 5.0 I use ProCare for payroll, checking in and out for staff and children and printing out reports for month end, quarterly and yearly. The time saved is exceptional. Pros ProCare is easy to use. There are lots of options especially when printing out reports. I also do payroll, printing out checks which is one of the easiest programs I have used. I also like that the year end tax reports are quickly done and accurate. Cons I do not use the tuition express as it is more expensive than our current credit card service. Review Source
