### "Faster and easier hybrid render engine "

August 27, 2021

5.0

Corona Renderer is best suited for rendering product animations on CPU-powered computers. It is easy, fast, and rapidly evolving rendering software.

Pros

Corona Renderer supports both biased and unbiased rendering technologies. It delivers physically plausible results with no glitches in quality. You can easily add reflective and refractive caustics to your scenes. Its UHD cache has capabilities to render flicker-free sophisticated animations. It can render on the power of CPU without needing additional GPU.

Cons

Corona Renderer is currently supported on only 3ds Max and Cinema 4D. Volumetric rendering features are incomplete.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Corona Renderer

We choose Corona Renderer over other alternatives for its artist-friendly workflow, unbiased rendering, and faster production.

### "How to not love this software"

August 6, 2022

5.0

I use the software daily in architectural rendering and it has never let me down. It is an amazing software that meets all expectations with the highest performance and quality. However, you need a very powerful video card for your rendering time to be good.

Pros

Simply amazing and easy to use software. You don't need to make major changes to get amazing results with this software in terms of rendering. But when you have knowledge about this software and its features the results are even more incredible.

Cons

Despite being an incredible software and delivering a fantastic result, it is still very slow when compared to Unreal E. If its technology made renders faster, it would be without a doubt the best rendering software on the market.

### "3D Rendering using Corona Renderer"

December 11, 2023

4.0

Pros

Corona Renderer does a great job in rendering 3D objects or animation, especially with architectural objects. It has many features that can help us to create our desire 3D render.

Cons

Corona Renderer is only available for Cinema4D and 3ds Max, which can be a problem for some people. If you want to use Corona Renderer then you have to use Cinema4D and 3ds Max as well.

### "Faster and Cheaper software for realistic renders"

January 5, 2023

5.0

We have had some amazing results in the last years with Corona. Our renders really deliver the feeling that the clients want from our projects.

Pros

Corona has a really friendly small curve which was for us a great help since we migrate from another render machine. I really enjoy using it when setting the sun, lights and the wide alternative of personalized materials that they offer. It is cheaper than the usual renderer used in the market but with similar and sometimes better results.

Cons

As the software uses the CPU to render the images, you might need a really good one to achieve the render times you want. Also, It would be good to have the alternative to use part of the GPU as well in some specific scenarios.

### "Easiest interface and best results"

September 8, 2022

5.0

Corona helped me get to the results I was aiming for, I highly recommend it as a render engine if you are working with Cinema 4D or 3ds Max

Pros

Easy interface, fast calculation time compared to other 3D render engines and gives you amazing renders The quality of the renders are outstanding, corona helped me get to the results I was aiming for. I personally used it for rendering still abstract images with lots of caustic lights and obtained amazing render. I even used it for architectural renders and found that Corona is better than Vray with a much faster calculation time and better results. The interface is very easy to use and you get used to it fast, and you can really tweak the settings until you get the result you want.

Cons

The only problem I faced while using Corona renderer that it is not compatible to lots of the 3D softwares like Maya. I personally used Corona Renderer in both Cinema 4D and 3ds Max

### "Hyper-realistic renderings in no time!!"

September 16, 2021

5.0

Overall it is a very good rendering engine if you use 3ds Max or Cinema 4D. The results along with the speed are unmatched by other rendering engines on the market.

Pros

It has the ability to make very photorealistic renderings, with a wide configuration of materials and lighting. It also has less software requirements than other rendering engines on the market.

Cons

The only disadvantage that I see is that it is available for very few programs.

### "Corona renderer a hidden gem?"

November 19, 2022

5.0

Pros

The workflow is fast and the speed of the rendering is also fast, not on oar with something like octane renderer but its quite good. The animations and transitions it provides are good and overall it gives you a quite good output. There are also regular updates from the developer.

Cons

Functionality it seems a bit lacking as compared to competition.

### "Realistic renders in a moment"

July 8, 2022

5.0

The software supports 3ds Max and Cinema 4D, which are the most common modeling programs out the market.

Pros

Since the GPU is more expensive to improve, this software is more recommended for those who has a great CPU, because this software use the CPU to render.

Cons

It is not supported for a lot of other products.
