I bought three sensors and two died within a year in a half. I have the warranty, but they want an additional $6,000. I spent hours on the phone trying to get the IT depart to even diagnose the problem. The sensors are in mint condition. Pros The quality of the image. The software and the picture quality is great. The images bridge over well into dentrix too. Cons The cost is really high for the sensors. Other companies are much more affordable. I bought three sensors and two died within a year and a half. The image quality is outstanding, and the software is user-friendly, enhancing our workflow and patient care. While there were minor challenges with setup and occasional loading times, the benefits greatly outweigh these issues. I highly recommend Dexis imaging to any dental professional! Pros I am absolutely thrilled with my experience using Dexis imaging! From the moment I started using their system, I was impressed by the clarity and precision of the images. The technology is incredibly user-friendly, which makes it easy to integrate into our dental practice without any hassle. Cons I have noticed that, at times, the software can be somewhat slow when loading images, especially if there are many files to manage. Images are clear, well organized, easy to retrieve and send out if need be. Pros Dexis is a great system for x-rays and intraoral photos, images are all very clear, easy to find and system is very user friendly from booth a clinical and administrative standpoint. We could not find x-rays for a patient and called DEXIS customer service and they were able to find and restore them that day. Pros DEXIS is very easy to use and integrates directly with our Dental platform, Eaglesoft. We can take x-rays in each room and it will pull directly into the patient chart. Cons The only issue we have is what integration with our new PAN machine, we are unable to pull those x-rays directly into patient charts. We can still access them, just a different way. The doctors like the quality and I like the ease of capturing x-rays quickly. Pros You get great quality x-rays, with sensors that don't hurt your patient's mouth. The universal sensor is what makes this software a go-to! Cons It's hard to get customer service on the line. You end up waiting and when they do come on it's hard to get it solved right away. Reasons for choosing DEXIS Imaging Suite The quality the sensors they offer are really great. You can use the software with any sensor but we prefer the dexis sensor.
