### "Free and Intuitive Analysis Tool"

June 14, 2024

5.0

As you get familiar with the software you enjoy using it more. It Free and open source. The outputs can be easily embedded on web pages and multiple formats. Used it to easily create interractive visuals that can be opened on the browser and embedded into Single Page Apps (SPAs).

Pros

Ease of Setup. No limit in Analysis. Large community. Tons of Libraries. Integration with Jupyter Cloud. Supports Python, Julia and R.

Cons

You must be able to write either Python, Julia or R to use the IDE efficiently. Might take time before you get familiar with the setting up the program. Always suitable to run it via the command line interface rather than the Jupyter GUI. To continue working the next day you might need to run all the cells before running code on a new cell, which might consume PC Ram depending on System Specification.

### "Use VS Code instead of Jupyter "

November 10, 2022

4.0

overall, I enjoyed coding using this software. But in the end, I switched to Visual Studio Code software.

Pros

The truly good feature that positively impacts the experience of using Jupyter is it has what I call the "Cell System". That is, you can write your code in separate cells. so if you wanted to edit something in the code and check the results of your modification, you only have to run that specific cell without the need of running the whole program. This is truly amazing. There are a lot of documentations about this software.

Cons

The standard visual modes are limited. You are trapped with the same layout, color, and font. There is no Dark mode, which I think is essential for developers.

### "Enhancing Data Analysis and Exploration: The Jupyter Notebook Review"

June 28, 2023

5.0

My overall experience with The Jupyter Notebook has been highly positive. It has revolutionized the way I approach data analysis and exploration. The interactive and versatile nature of the notebook allows me to seamlessly combine code, visualizations, and explanations in a single document. The real-time execution of code cells and the ease of editing and iterating on code blocks have greatly enhanced my productivity. The integration with data visualization libraries and scientific tools has expanded my analytical capabilities. While there are a few minor drawbacks, such as the absence of a built-in version control system and some challenges with dependency management, the overall benefits and flexibility of The Jupyter Notebook have exceeded my expectations. It has become an indispensable tool in my data analysis workflow, empowering me to gain valuable insights from my data efficiently.

Pros

I liked most about The Jupyter Notebook is its interactive and versatile nature. The ability to seamlessly combine code, visualizations, and explanatory text in a single document is a game-changer for my data analysis and exploration tasks. I found the real-time execution of code cells and the ease of editing and iterating on code blocks to be highly impactful features. The support for various programming languages, including Python, R, and Julia, makes it adaptable to my diverse needs. The integration with data visualization libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn has significantly enhanced my ability to create insightful and visually appealing plots. Moreover, the seamless integration with popular scientific libraries such as NumPy and Pandas has made data analysis a breeze. The product's intuitive interface and clear documentation have made it relatively easy for me to get started and navigate through the features. When it comes to integrating with my existing business processes, I found that Jupyter Notebook seamlessly fits into my workflow. Its compatibility with other tools and frameworks, along with the ability to export notebooks to different formats, has made collaboration and sharing of findings straightforward. Overall, The Jupyter Notebook has become an indispensable tool for my data analysis and reporting, empowering me to extract meaningful insights from my data efficiently.

Cons

I appreciate the overall functionality of The Jupyter Notebook, there are a few aspects that I found less preferable. One of the challenges I encountered is the lack of a built-in version control system, which can make it difficult to track changes and collaborate effectively, especially when working in a team. Additionally, managing dependencies and package installations within Jupyter Notebook can sometimes be cumbersome, requiring manual configuration and troubleshooting. While the interface is generally user-friendly, it can become cluttered and overwhelming when dealing with large and complex notebooks. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall benefits and flexibility of The Jupyter Notebook outweigh these concerns, making it a valuable tool for data analysis and exploration.

### "Great IDE for reproducible data analyses"

April 14, 2022

4.0

Overall, Jupyter Notebooks allow us to draft reproducible data analyses and also share both code and results within our team. This gives us a better way of collaborating on analytics and data science.

Pros

I like how we can interweave text descriptions, code, and outputs in one single document.

Cons

Coding with best practices is quite challenging with the notebook interface. Though this is greatly resolved by the newer JupyterLab.

### "The best web based computing platform for me"

July 8, 2022

5.0

Mostly, I used it for data analysis purpose and I must confess that I was impressed how good it is compared to Excel.

Pros

It is very easy to use. It's really fast and it's comfortable to create visualizations inside the platform. If you work in analytics team, it is best environment to do your analysis.

Cons

The Jupyter Notebook is not the best option for software engineering. For example, if you need to change a variable name, you should change in every block of code manually.

I use Jupyter Notebook for writing and executing programming scripts almost daily. The ability to connect to the servers where my data resides whilst also editing my scripts has made my work much easier than using alternative software for this work.

Pros

Jupyter Notebook makes all of the resources that one might need during coding easily accessible, and presents them/your scripts in a simple, easy to digest format.

Cons

Syncing and loading can sometimes be very slow and sticky.

### "convenient interactive computing platform"

December 27, 2024

5.0

I am very satisfied with the Jupyter Notebook. I used Python very often and the Jupyter Notebook displays everything from my codes to all the outputs on the one-page web browser. Everything is very well laid out and displayed. I can also run my codes on the Jupyter Notebook using port forwarding.

Pros

The Jupyter Notebook beats IPython in many ways as an interactive Python tool.

Cons

It may take some time to launch, especially with a not too fast computer.

### "A must-have for data scientists and ML Engineers"

November 3, 2022

5.0

I started using Jupyter Notebooks while was learning to program on Python as a Data Scientist. I was pretty happy for its functionality and ease of use. Considering the fact that writing long codes are exhausting for me, The Jupyter Notebook surely helps me to make it more modular and easier to read.

Pros

The biggest advantage of the Jupyter Notebook is its simplicity. You just run it and start coding. It has all the necessary functions for Data Science and Machine Learning tasks.

Cons

One uncomfortable thing for me is it doesn't have live recommendations. You must press Tab to get the list of possible functions. Maybe I am not able to find it, but it would be great to have this option as well.

### "Python and R made Easy"

March 7, 2022

5.0

I have had a great experience with this tool. Running code natively (Python) is very difficult for beginners, Jupyter notebooks solves that issue.

Pros

What i liked most is that Jupyter notebook allows you to go step by step trough your code. This allows me the user to effectively find and solve issues and errors and add markdown where required

Cons

I belive some grouping on cells would help a lot. It is quite tedious to only have the option to click one cell by cell or everything. a Grouping would help to execute everything that you are happy with or if you want to see how the code runs in one run

Pros

Jupyter notebook is very intuitive and easy to use. As a student learning programming for the first time, Jupyter has been very helpful and a good introductory tool.

Cons

### "Very Good"

March 1, 2022

4.0

I like some functionalities of development in Jupyter like the way of execute the code in blocks, but I feel this software is to those who are more advanced in coding, because it doesn't have tools or things to help the iniciants.

Pros

The separation of the code into blocks makes easier to see your project by steps or specific functions while you develop.

Cons

The integrated tools could have more options, like extensions with tips of the programming languages, like structures of some function, or how to create some syntaxe. I really miss these tools.
