I like using it because it's easy to set up and easily integrates with Google Analytics It also provides powerful tracking features that allow easy monitoring of various metrics such as traffic sources, visitor behaviors, page views, and some other data. It's easily customizable and occasionally generates reports straight into the WordPress admin dashboard when necessary and provides possibilities to extract relevant data from reporting based on specific metrics like segments, time, and periods. Integration with plugins like Easy Digital Downloads and WooCommerce is flawless as it can be very helpful for tracking such as conversion rates. I would surely recommend it because it provides extra possibilities to analyze and understand website data. Cons I don't have any dislikes as per the performance of this plugin, it works greatly and serves its purposes. Cons I have noticed that MonsterInsights fully depends on Google Analytics for most performance. It's a bad practice if you ask me because It's that potential changes in Google Analytics can easily influence MonsterInsight's performance.
