Truly we do not deal with another application that has this level of support. We have seen some great products that we didn't use because of the lack of support. Qbox is great! Pros We have been using Qbox for many years. It is THE solution when you have QuickBooks Desktop clients. Cons There is a separate charge for a folder if you use attachments. Thankfully, the last sync in Qbox was able to save us. Qbox is very simple to use and share files and folders with others. For the price, I don't think I could ask for more. Recently, I had to contact customer service for an issue, and the question was answered and the issue resolved quickly. Pros The file sharing has made using QuickBooks Desktop with our office staff and CPA a breeze. No more sending an accountant's copy every time we need to make changes. We also can upload and share documents as needed. Cons If I have to answer something here, it is the occasional issue with syncing. Restart Qbox and it is usually immediately resolved. Pros Its a good option for sharing a Quickbooks desktop application. Great system that is easy to use with support available when needed. Cons US dollar pricing. We are based in Canada so the exchange rate takes it from being affordable to expensive. Everything I have experienced has been very positive. Positive from ease of use to support assistance. Pros I like everything about Qbox. It is east to use and if you have a problem, their support is only a phone call away. Support is prompt and quickly resolves issues. Qbox makes it easy to access my Quickbooks Companies from many different locations. It makes it easy to share files with all the accountants my clients use. I also have the peace of mind in knowing that my Quickbooks Company File is stored in their cloud should I run into an issue with my computer. Cons I have not yet found a Con with Qbox. September 9, 2026 5.0 Pros Very easy to use the software, but what was more impressive than the software itself was the timely, telephone support that we received when we wanted to move our QBox account from our bookkeeper's account to our own account. I can truly say this was arguably the best support experience I have had with a tech company. And if we were ever considering any other software for which CoralTree had a candidate product, we would almost certainly go with CoralTree. Cons Only saying this because a "con" is required. Cons There is nothing that I dislike about this software. I have no suggestions on improving the functionality or ease of use. Pros With Intuit pushing (the inferior) QBO down client throats, Qbox allowed me to have the benefit of an online product and maintain use in the superior QB Desktop product. I regularly suggest that clients not migrate to QBO and use this product for collaboration in multiple sites. In this can't wait society - It is not a problem for me to wait for access if my client is using QB. And support is PHENOMENAL! Cons Personally, I cannot list a single Qbox con. It is a rare necessity for my client and I to be in the QB file at the same time. And that is the only reason to migrate to QBO. I think the price is great. Pros Many of my clients use QuickBooks Desktop version, and Qbox allows us to work with them, assisting in whatever way is needed. Qbox is easy to use, their support is excellent, being able to easily share & save documents - all at a very reasonable cost. Cons The only issue that I sometimes have is moving documents from one folder to another. I don't do this often, so I need to re-learn the process each time. It does not seem intuitive to me. At that time, we needed an app that would allow us to work remotely on our clients’ accounting tasks using QuickBooks Desktop, and it made sense in terms of cost. An accountant recommended Qbox to us, and we were delighted. One of the most impressive aspects of Qbox is the unwavering dedication of its employees in assisting us when we encounter issues with the system. Although such incidents are rare, when they do occur, they demonstrate a resolute commitment to resolving the problem. We are thoroughly satisfied with Qbox and the company behind it. It stands out as one of the best apps we’ve discovered for our business. Pros We can remotely use QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise without incurring costly investments in an online server. Cons The only limitation is that you can’t work remotely simultaneously. However, for the most part, that’s not a problem for us. We had been trying to use ShareFile for over 2 years with Quick Books desktop so that our book keeper could work remotely. We had hours and hours trying to make that work…unsuccessfully and with no help from Intuit. Our book keeper found QBox and we got it running in less than an hour….problem solved!!! Pros Easy to set up! Customer support helped me through the easy process and made sure everything was working properly. Cons Explanation of how to add non QB files although it was easy to figure out. Cons Can't think of anything; I love it. It has always been very reliable. Reason for choosing Qbox Hosted systems slow down the system, and if there is a problem, it generally is not easy to find out what is happening and get it working properly again. I would recommend Qbox to everyone using Quickbooks Desktop. Even if you don't need to share files, Qbox has a feature that allows you to roll-back to a previously saved revision of your Quickbooks data file. Pros The customer technical support is amazing. In the past 15 years I can't think of a more positive customer support experience with any product in any industry in my business or personal experiences. I heard about Qbox from a colleague and called in to ask some technical questions. They answered every question and provided further details that showed me they knew what they were talking about unlike many technical support personnel these days that just provide limited and often incorrect information. Since we started using Qbox we had two instances where due to user error we needed technical support to correct our errors. The technical support team answers the phone live without any wait. They will discuss the issue and walk you thru the solution. They will even offer to use the Windows built-in Quick Assist function (Windows+Ctrl+Q) to view your screen and to provide better assistance. They never are in a hurry to get off the phone. The main reason we use Qbox is for Quickbooks file sharing, but we also store all of our supporting invoices as PDFs in Qbox. Qbox works perfectly for sharing Quickbooks desktop files. When your computer is turned on the files are updated locally in real-time without any user action needed. Cons We have no issues when using Qbox for our Quickbooks files. We store a lot of data in Qbox due to our supporting invoices in PDF format. When an additional user is added at a later date the initial data sync should be done on a fast internet connection due to the large amounts of data that need to be downloaded. Even though you should back up your work, it is still very easy to know where you left off as well as reminding you to do so. I had one issue which was not caused by QBox( I believe a worker did not lock the file while in use), some information was missing but they came to my rescue and fixed my problem, so I did not have to do double work and reenter date Pros I like knowing what is being worked on at any given time. I know who the last person that accessed information. It is very easy friendly to add new information to Qbox. Cons I cannot think of any negatives with Qbox. Reason for choosing Qbox While researching Qbox, it seemed to have the functionality that would fit my office. The price also helped make my decision because if I didn't like it, I could stop using it.
