Director, Operational Excellence Pharmaceuticals Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Raven provides visibility we'd otherwise be guessing at" October 8, 2021 5.0 The overall hardware and software experience has been fantastic. We have insight on OEE that were previously mysteries, and we can easily find out if any of our lines are running at the tap of a phone. On the people side, it's even better. The Raven team is highly energized and truly make us feel like they care. Pros It's a simple software package that's regularly being iterated and improved upon. Most people at Renaissance can log in, look at it for 30 seconds, and figure out most of what they need to do. The elegant downtime entry is also very helpful for our operators. Cons The software isn't highly customizable, but after we figured out different ways to get the information we needed, it became a non-issue. Review Source GD Grace D. We are currently in the process of hanging TVs outside of all production lines to display the Raven data. Working with the Raven team has been an absolute pleasure. The team is incredibly responsive and always willing to help. Additionally, the team is very forward thinking, always trying to figure out how to improve our current state. Pros The most impactful features of the software are the "Process Status", "Lot Progression", and "Today's Production". The "Process Status" box shows the hublet screen in real time, which instantly communicates whether a line is running or down, as well as the number of parts that have been produced that shift. This feature, in combination with the "Lot Progression" tool have been presented to clients that come on site to watch the manufacturing of their products. The "Lot Progression" feature allows anyone with Raven access to see how far along a certain job is and when they can expect it to complete. Lastly, the "Today's Production" box on the Dashboard tab is crucial to see production data from previous days, broken down to the hour. Cons The most asked for feature by the end users of Raven has been a text box feature, whether that be for tagging on the hublet or commenting in the reports. Reason for choosing Raven.ai Raven provided an easy-to-install and use OEE solution. Our company had no OEE tracking system in place prior to the Raven so this was a great start for us! We were able to increase an equipment uptime from an average of 78% up to 98% in less than a month based on the data acquired by Raven. The elimination of "manual" data entry it is crucial to make improvements on any time of equipment. Pros Raven is very easy to install and get it customized to our needs. Real time data at our fingertips. Raven is very user friendly . Cons We not able to get all data provided by the equipment PLC and send it directly to Raven without increasing the pricing. They are a great group of folks that truly care about their customers. Pros Raven has completely revolutionized the tracking of our manufacturing facilities. The ease of use (both in installation and daily operation) is unmatched. I love that I know the current status of our equipment (as well as how long it has been in that state) as soon as I walk through an area. Cons There are a few updates (that they are currently developing) that I'm eager to get. Reason for choosing Raven.ai Their tracking devices can be connected to just about any piece of equipment. The data we receive is helpful and we are able to work with Raven to make customizations to better suit our needs. Pros The data is pretty accurate and customer service is very helpful in better customizing what we want to see Cons There are modifications I wish we could do on our side such as adding new product codes. The Raven team is incredibly supportive and attentive to our needs as we refine and continue to build upon our already great system. We see incredible value in having OEE available at our fingertips at all times, and our plant has seen the benefit of that. Pros The product is easy to use with great interface for both machine operators and users like myself who are monitoring production and OEE on a daily basis. Cons Although system customization is easy to implement, landing on the desired solution can sometimes be iterative. Pros Web-based real-time reporting on ahead or behind production status. Customization of the reports. Cons Manual intervention for standard events such as breaks and lunches. But, Raven is working toward automating such events to reduce manual operator intervention. Perhaps in some cases, a direct interface with the ERP system would offer an additional level of service for the client. The service is also excellent and any updates are done with little delay. Pros The software is intuitive and makes training easy. In a busy environment, data can be collected with simply screen taps.
