Die Software wird regelmäßig erweitert und verbessert. In den seltenen Fällen, wenn tatsächlich mal etwas nicht funktioniert, werden diese Probleme zumeist sehr schnell behoben. Pros cuSmarText wird bei uns nicht nur im HR Umfeld verwendet, auch andere Bereiche sind im Laufe der Zeit dazugestoßen und verwenden die Software als das bevorzugte Dokumentenmanagement System (u.a. Finance, Beteiligungsmanagement, Recht, etc.). Die Software wird bei uns international verwendet und ist jeweils auch in der entsprechenden Landessprache (CS, SK, EN, DE) verfügbar. Die einfache Möglichkeit Dokumente revisionssicher abzulegen sowie die Integration mit dem cuDocument Builder, waren starke Argumente für die Implementierung von cuSmarText HR. Im Unterschied zur vorherigen Solution (SAP Records Management) bewertet ein Großteil unserer Kunden die Software als durchwegs benutzerfreundlich. Da die Software in unserem SAP System voll integriert ist, war es auch relativ einfach die bestehenden Geschäftsprozesse zu übernehmen bzw. in den meisten Fällen sogar weiter zu verbessern (Verwendung der Barcodefunktionalität beim Scannen, Integration von SAP Workflows, Integration von DocuSign, Anbindung an unser SuccessFactors Employee Central Portal, etc.). Ein weiterer Vorteil (für uns) ist, dass wir viele Business Anforderungen mit unseren eigenen SAP Entwicklern umsetzen können. Cons Durch die vollständige Integration im SAP - was eigentlich ein Vorteil der Software ist - können die unterschiedlichsten Anforderungen vom Business umgesetzt werden. Dies hat jedoch zur Folge, dass sich das System mit der Zeit vom Standard entfernt. Nicht nur, dass man jede Änderung im Hinterkopf behalten muss, oftmals gibt es Abhängigkeiten, die man bei der Implementierung neuer Anforderungen beachten muss. Vor allem bei Release Upgrades kann es deshalb vorkommen, dass so manche Funktionalität bzw. so mancher Report dann nicht mehr funktionieren, bis die Änderungen schließlich nachgezogen wurden. Das ist jetzt aber kein spezifisches Problem von cuSmarText HR, das gilt in der Regel für alle "offenen" IT Systeme. Reasons for choosing cuSmarText HR Einerseits weil das Gesamtpaket der Circle Unlimited überzeugender war, andererseits hatten wir zu dem Zeitpunkt bereits sehr gute Erfahrungen mit der Circle Unlimited im Bereich des Vertragsmanagements (cuContract) gehabt.
