But you need a keyuser in your local office. It's faster and easier than communication with support team. Of course that person has to be learned for it. Pros Great 2D&3D database. Thanks to saving prt/asm on the server, it's easy to make changes on 3D and 2D. "check out" enable that only 1 person can work on actual revision. The history of changes is easily visible. SolidWorks and SmarTeam are good connected between each other. Working environment is userfriendly. Cons Sometimes linking between prt/asm and drw not so easy. Of course it depends on a user, but new users sometime can't find the right way to correct it. Everything mostly worked as it should. UI is really old looking and not really user friendly. But when you learn your way around, you won't have any issues. Cons SmarTeam has been already replaced by 3DExperience. It is old and is not really supported anymore. UI is also really old looking and has issue with high resolution displays. Clearing workspace was also easy, user is able to delete his revisions and has more control over his work. Cons SmarTeam is really outdated, UI is old and ugly. I would definitely recommend upgrade to something more modern. It also had a lot of synchronization bugs. You saved assembly, checked in and after opening it again it was broken.
