It worked great for the compay. It's a great tool for Payroll and HR management

Pros

The freedom to create, build, and generate any reports in payroll and HR anytime.

Cons

The solfware is not very user friendly, it is a bit complex, but their customer supports are quite good. If you could get a hang of them, they can walk you through steps to get things done.

Smooth transition and easy to use. Great support. Time sheets very easy to manage. Managers find this very user friendly.

Pros

Ease of use. intuitive website, amazing customer service. Web based so easily accessible. Employees love the app.

Cons

Nothing really. The payroll register could print better so a full employee stub is in one page vs sometimes splitting up into two pages

Can you fully integrate your software with any accounting software? For example, if my guy works on one schedule for 80 hours per week, they export hours to billing automatically. It will become ERP if you can

my experience has been great for all the companies I have using this service, I happily move all my clients with payroll to this service

Pros

The customer support is great, easy of use, employees like the self service options, great value for the money

Cons

there really isn't anything I dislike about payworks, keep up the good work on all the upgrades. This is best so far

I love that the Client services representatives will guide you through the process rather then just do it for you. I learn how to do it for the next time around.

Pros

Pay roll ease of use, to process my payroll for 4 different companies is very easy. And I can switch between the companies easily.

Cons

Sometime I can not find what I am looking for: it is not intuitive to where to find some items such as how to reactive an employee.

My overall experience has been Excellent. I use Payworks for over 15 clients and appreciate the the service I have received

Pros

The simplicity of the system and the service provided by the Payworks team is what I like best about Payworks

Cons

My only complaint would be that I have a bunch of clients using Payworks and I have a different service rep for each client

Overall, it has been great. We are almost a year into it and have learned a lot. The value cannot be beat especially when you have a dedicated account manager.

Pros

Our account manager \[sensitive content hidden\] has helped us out on more than one occasion. Not only is she prompt but provides answers to our questions in a very constructed and easy to understand way.

Cons

It is a bit of a learning curve when you first navigate the program. It does have some complex pages especially when setting up employees. It would make it easier if there were some help screens or short videos.

I've used Payworks for about a year and a half and I have found it to be easy to use and user friendly.

Pros

It's overall simplicity and the fact that I have a body I can connect to if I run into any issues (I think I had one this past year).

Cons

The change to the desktop to make it more intuitive. Not really a con, just a change and we all know how much people love change.

I always recommend to other people, I love this for payroll. It's the best!!! I have a few clients I have brough over from other platforms

Pros

Easy to navigate. I love that I don't have to calculate stat and they made it easy to enter for everyone.

Cons

The additional upgrades were not necessary and I found that I need to click more to get what I need. Un-needed but still easy to navigate

I have worked with several payroll software systems over my 30 years. This is by far the easiest and most reliable software I have used. With numerous options, payroll always runs smoothly, no matter how many "add-ons" you have or don't have.

Pros

The ease and convenience of the software. Great client representatives who are always helpful when needed.

Cons

I don't have any cons to say about Payworks. Only that I have to enter something in here to complete the survey. lol ;)

I have used Payworks in few companies. I recommended Payworks to my current employer as well. I like the customer service team as they are very supportive and friendly.

Pros

It's user friendly than most of the payroll systems I have used so far. And very reasonable pricing.

Cons

I wish we had more report writing capacity when we don't have HR module. Payworks should develop a system to do even US payroll since most of the big companies operate in US & Canada.

Payworks gets the job done inexpensively, but it's old-school. Don't expect modern features that make payroll or HR easier.

Pros

Very strong customer support. I can get someone on the phone pretty quickly during working hours, and they can usually solve my problem in a few minutes.

Cons

The user interface is dated. It's often unclear to me where to find simple information, especially for employee information. Automation is lacking -- there's nothing here that streamlines payroll or scheduling. Payworks has very limited features for employees.

Have relied on pay works for years and feel secure that this payroll program is always up to date and efficient with Revenue Canada in its reporting.

Pros

The customer support is wonderful and the working in payworks relatively easy to understand. I never feel I have to worry about any issues.

Cons

Sometimes the upgrades and changes throw me a bit but they are always an improvement in the end. Very user friendly.

Great, I look forward to continuing and maybe increasing our features and module in the future. The communication has been great.

Pros

The employee experience. It is really easy to use the app and all our employees are able to get the information they need in seconds without having to wait on our payroll team.

Cons

Some of the back end reports are harder to figure out how to get the information I am looking for. While all the information is there, they are not intuitive.

Overall I like Payworks and would recommend it. Compared to other programs I have used teaching someone how to use this program is straight forward.

Pros

I like the grid view. It makes entering payroll easy. The summary at the end of the register is useful in balancing to other company reports.

Cons

I dislike that some of the drop down menus cannot be accessed by "smart search" of putting in the first two or three letters of a name, you have to scroll through one at a time.

Pros

How easy to run payroll runs and customer service, as well as value for the money. I also like the app for the employee

Cons

Set up an employee, and the paperwork that I still need to go through, all the documentation, and bank information.

I find it so easy to use and learn quicker steps as I continue to use the platform making the tough issues easy to solve.

Pros

Very simple and easy to use. Intuitively easy. I also like that the changes by Ontario/Canada's changes are reliable and automatically imbedded and one does not have to worry or question the process. Payworks staff too are always available and helpful to solve any issue.

Cons

I couldn't think of how things could be any simpler. Most of the hard to do issues, are only hard in your mind and when you see the platform, they have it all accounted for and easy to implement the changes.

Very satisfied, the customer service has been really prompt and helpful, and we have been saving money compared to what we used to pay an accountant.

Pros

Ease of use, cost effective, I like that the government reporting is covered for the most part. My contact person is always very prompt with a response.

Cons

Initially it was a little hard to navigate the menu items. I had to write the process down in order to remember the correct steps.

the pay grid system. can access the payrolls anytime. Payroll processing reminders. able to reverse the hours. Security the overall layout.

Once you get to know the program, it is easy to follow. I don't use it often enough to be really good at it.

Pros

The customer support. As a new user of Payworks, I've made a few mistakes, and \[sensitive content hidden\] has always been there to help.

Cons

I find that if you make a mistake, you can't go back and correct it. You have to contact customer support.
