Pros

The freedom to create, build, and generate any reports in payroll and HR anytime.

Cons

The solfware is not very user friendly, it is a bit complex, but their customer supports are quite good. If you could get a hang of them, they can walk you through steps to get things done.

Payworks has leveled up me productivity when submitting payroll, and has allowed me to focus my time and energy into other aspects of my business.

Pros

We’ve had a great experience with Payworks. It’s easy to use, reliable, and makes payroll simple. Anytime we’ve needed help, their support team has been quick and helpful. Highly recommend.

Cons

At the beginning, I found it a bit difficult to navigate the sidebar and figure out where everything was. It’s gotten easier over time, but sometimes it still takes me a little longer than I’d like to find what I’m looking for.

Can you fully integrate your software with any accounting software? For example, if my guy works on one schedule for 80 hours per week, they export hours to billing automatically. It will become ERP if you can

Smooth transition and easy to use. Great support. Time sheets very easy to manage. Managers find this very user friendly.

Pros

Ease of use. intuitive website, amazing customer service. Web based so easily accessible. Employees love the app.

Cons

Nothing really. The payroll register could print better so a full employee stub is in one page vs sometimes splitting up into two pages

The customer support is great, easy of use, employees like the self service options, great value for the money

Cons

there really isn't anything I dislike about payworks, keep up the good work on all the upgrades. This is best so far

I love that the Client services representatives will guide you through the process rather then just do it for you. I learn how to do it for the next time around.

Pros

Pay roll ease of use, to process my payroll for 4 different companies is very easy. And I can switch between the companies easily.

Cons

Sometime I can not find what I am looking for: it is not intuitive to where to find some items such as how to reactive an employee.

The simplicity of the system and the service provided by the Payworks team is what I like best about Payworks

Cons

My only complaint would be that I have a bunch of clients using Payworks and I have a different service rep for each client

Overall, it has been great. We are almost a year into it and have learned a lot. The value cannot be beat especially when you have a dedicated account manager.

Pros

Our account manager \[sensitive content hidden\] has helped us out on more than one occasion. Not only is she prompt but provides answers to our questions in a very constructed and easy to understand way.

Cons

It is a bit of a learning curve when you first navigate the program. It does have some complex pages especially when setting up employees. It would make it easier if there were some help screens or short videos.

I've used Payworks for about a year and a half and I have found it to be easy to use and user friendly.

Pros

It's overall simplicity and the fact that I have a body I can connect to if I run into any issues (I think I had one this past year).

Cons

The change to the desktop to make it more intuitive. Not really a con, just a change and we all know how much people love change.

I always recommend to other people, I love this for payroll. It's the best!!! I have a few clients I have brough over from other platforms

Pros

Easy to navigate. I love that I don't have to calculate stat and they made it easy to enter for everyone.

Cons

The additional upgrades were not necessary and I found that I need to click more to get what I need. Un-needed but still easy to navigate

outstanding implementation services and process. You make it incredibly simple to go live on Payworks. The approach is easy to follow, the data conversion support is without errors and the whole process is mindful of people that are already doing other functions. Your staff are knowledgeable in our Time and attendance system (although I wish I could use yours), making it even easier to configure. I referred Payworks to three franchisees and one charitable foundation. Your software and people 'walk on water', in my eyes and I'm your biggest cheerleader!

outstanding features, processing speed and professional knowledgeable service professionals.

Cons

an actual mobile app as opposed to a mobile (tablet and phone) friendly website.

We have had a great experience and we have not faced any problems. Any issue that we needed resolved were quickly resolved. The customer service is available when needed. The system seems to do everything we need and more.

Pros

User-friendly interface, ease of transition from another payroll provider, knowledgeable staff. Even if our contact person is not available and we call the main customer service the individuals are always able to assist.

Cons

Difficult to say. There is so much to learn it can be a bit overwhelming but I hate to say that this is a disadvantage it just takes time to learn. One suggest that we had was to include the ability to download the basic payroll reports, with one lick but as individual files, rather than all in one document. Just a minor thing but would be helpful as we are currently saving them individually.

Payworks gets the job done inexpensively, but it's old-school. Don't expect modern features that make payroll or HR easier.

Pros

Very strong customer support. I can get someone on the phone pretty quickly during working hours, and they can usually solve my problem in a few minutes.

Cons

The user interface is dated. It's often unclear to me where to find simple information, especially for employee information. Automation is lacking -- there's nothing here that streamlines payroll or scheduling. Payworks has very limited features for employees.

Payworks has simplified the way we did payroll before. Running reports, filing T4's and ROE's are processed with ease and transmitted electronically which saves time.

Pros

Payworks program is pretty easy to use and if you have any issues, my current representative is always available to help. I also got a friends business set up with Payworks and he loves how easy it is to process payroll from what he was using before!

Cons

When we implemented the clock hardware. We still don't use it to its full potential because it doesn't seem to run smoothly.

Great, I look forward to continuing and maybe increasing our features and module in the future. The communication has been great.

Pros

The employee experience. It is really easy to use the app and all our employees are able to get the information they need in seconds without having to wait on our payroll team.

Cons

Some of the back end reports are harder to figure out how to get the information I am looking for. While all the information is there, they are not intuitive.

Pros

How easy to run payroll runs and customer service, as well as value for the money. I also like the app for the employee

Cons

Set up an employee, and the paperwork that I still need to go through, all the documentation, and bank information.

I find it so easy to use and learn quicker steps as I continue to use the platform making the tough issues easy to solve.

Pros

Very simple and easy to use. Intuitively easy. I also like that the changes by Ontario/Canada's changes are reliable and automatically imbedded and one does not have to worry or question the process. Payworks staff too are always available and helpful to solve any issue.

Cons

I couldn't think of how things could be any simpler. Most of the hard to do issues, are only hard in your mind and when you see the platform, they have it all accounted for and easy to implement the changes.

It has been great! Having an implementation person assigned to help you get started. I also like that we have a personal rep assigned to our account. The resource Center for questions and videos are helpful too!

Pros

The ease of everything payroll! After not doing payroll for 17 years, they have made it simple and straightforward to jump right back in. They even take care of the CRA remittances for me too!

Cons

Figuring out the journal entry side of payroll. Has been the most challenging part for me, but it’s all part of learning a new way of doing things.

Once you get to know the program, it is easy to follow. I don't use it often enough to be really good at it.

Pros

The customer support. As a new user of Payworks, I've made a few mistakes, and \[sensitive content hidden\] has always been there to help.

Cons

I find that if you make a mistake, you can't go back and correct it. You have to contact customer support.
