It's a great option for fine-tuning a website design project, giving it some life, and making it look engaging to the front-end users. Pros Unlike many JavaScript toolsets for website animation, GSAP is my favorite of all time. It's a superhero when it comes to making animation and transition effects. I like using it because the impression and experience it provides are very fluid and attention-grabbing. Additionally, I find it super easy to set up. Most of the time, I use Elementor as a core plugin for leveraging GSAP's bumper powers and it helps me exploit it to the brim. The developers have provided all the possible documentation to get the two plugins to match correctly and it makes integration very easy and straightforward as well. GreenSock is a time-saver because when I use CSS and Vanilla Javascript for animations in a project, it's really hard and time-sucking to be able to accomplish a complex animation whereas, GSAP toasts them both in just a single sequence and gets the job done properly and even more than what I'd expected. I'm addicted to using it because it provides me with several options, and choices that blow my mind. I'm always at the forefront of every project I handle because GSAP lets me decide on what is best for that project - it gives me choices. Cons I would love to use more advanced 3D animations similar to the ones three.js provides in GSAP. I want to be able to do beyond that which is standard - I want to do things like Morph targets and animate material properties like colors, opacity, visibility, and transforms. I couldn't have achieved some of them in a timely manner if I were to write codes myself. Pros GSAP is the most powerful javascript animation library that I've ever used, it is high-performant and can turn any dummy, dull, and boring website into a captivating, compelling, and charming website. I like it because it helps me to save time that would have been lost writing the codes from scratch and helps to shorten the learning curve as well. It offers comprehensive animation capabilities with features like timeline control, CSS transformation, SVG animations, motion-path animation, and more which are asset-rich for creating engine and visually appealing animations. It also offers fine-grained control over animations essential for the user's flexibility and experience. I can adjust timing, sequencing, and easing for the transitions giving them a smooth feel on mouse-touch. Integration with WordPress is straightforward as there are rich resources provided by both the community and the company itself. GSAP is a great tool to consider for designing websites with advanced animation features. Gone and forgotten are those days when one could just slam up a web page, add a few images and notes to it and that's all - today the is experiencing lots of evolving so does technology as well.I highly recommend trying GSAP in your next projects - it's easy to use and you do not need any coding skills to implement it. Pros The GreenSock Animation Platform provides incredible features that can make a mundane website compelling. I have been using it for close to 3 years now for that require it.It's a great tool to get started with and it's very easy to install with Elementor (" The GSAP for Elementor Plugin") and use in WordPress. I started with the lite version which is also fantastic as it provides quite a few great animation packs- But I later realized that it has a lot of limitations and to get more out of it (for my freelance business) I had to switch to an affordable commercial plan which comes with a license as well.I prefer GSAP to many other animation tools because of its robust animation capabilities, high-performance scheme, Cross-browser compatibility, and Timeline controllability.It allows me to create complex and visually appealing animations easily with various properties like smooth scaling, device-supported rotation, opacity control, and more and this gives a granular control over how my animations should appear to the user.I also prefer it to most tools because it doesn't suck up lots of server memory. It works perfectly with most standard user browsers like Chrome, safari, edge, and Firefox.The timeline control provides extra control flexibility for features such as delay, and timing and this helps the orchestrate an immersive experience. Cons With respect to my industry (graphic design in general), I haven't encountered any issues with GSAP because there is almost nothing to manage on my own (tech-related) however, I had some friends who are web developers report to me that tool doesn't always work well on small screens when a lot of animations have been used on a particular project.I haven't really experienced it myself (as I do not overuse it) but I think it might possibly be true. Overall this is recommended. Pros GSAP provides many animation options and functions, and also many optional plugins, this makes it more customizable. All of animations you need, you can build with GSAP. Cons It builts for professional, maybe it will be a little bit more difficult for beginners, but don't worry because the documentation is very clear.
