### "TPS - an underrated gem."

Overall very pleased with all modules from workflow to planning.

Pros

The people and support are top notch. The features are all very appropriate for our firm size and practical.

Cons

Perhaps no ACH for payment (Canadian). Perhaps no way of assessing workflow to show up on calendar until assigning to an individual. Also, not aware of any reports that tie to workflow, hard to tell our staffing, or assessment against budget by WF.

### "Productivity Better With TPS"

Not very easy to learn but a tremendous improvement over our old system and method of tracking. Decreased the amount of time spent looking for files and time keeping was better.

Pros

TPS Cloud Axis makes it so much easier to track which employee is working on which project. It is a time saver. Locating files is a breeze and providing our customers with instant updates on the status of their projects feels more professional and responsive. Depending on which card service merchant is used, clients can pay online and the payment is credited to their account immediately. I do like that when I need help navigating TPS, I can call on help from the support team.

Cons

The thing I like least is the number of "clicks" it takes to do anything in TPS. It is also not very intuitive for users.

The easiest transition we have had to a new time & billing software. We tried 2 other BIG named software companies and they were disasters!! Their customer service was horrible and we were left very dissatisfied.

Pros

Great customer service, easy to learn and robust reporting capability. It's the best time & billing software I've used/seen out there.

Cons

I can't think of a single thing that is a Con. Every time I have a question the support team is super responsive and helpful. The implementation was so great, unlike our past tries with other companies - those were disasters.

So far so good. I'm happy with it. It seems much quicker and less glitchy than the old TPS which is nice.

Pros

It's very user friendly. It wasn't very difficult to switch from the old to the new. If I don't know how to do something, I like that there are short videos to explain what to do.

Cons

There isn't much I don't like really. Maybe just having to learn another form of TPS when I've been comfortable using the old one for so long.

Overall experience from implementation to production was fairly painless. the team assigned to help us get up and running, in record time, were above and beyond.

Pros

Value for Money. TPS is less than half of our two previous billing/invoicing software. The pricing is what tipped us to TPS. Also, all the instructive videos were helpful.

Cons

Some of the functions were less user friendly than others and it took calls to TPS to clarify. But overall, very little to dislike.

Easy to use and excellent customer help when we run into issues. Much better than our old antiquated software. Reports are clear and customizable.

Cons

Not really a con but there are so many reports, it can be overwhelming when trying to find the exact one you need/require.

My overall experience is good with TPS. Agents do respond to inquiries. However the service is not consistent and I have recently received great service. \[sensitive content hidden\] tried to problem solve for a couple of product features we feel our firm is in need of and just the various tips she gave to make using TPS more efficiently were very much appreciated.

Pros

Great time entry function, reports and sometimes advisors who really want to help create a positive outcome.

Cons

Initially I really dreaded calling up support for help as a particular agent was dismissive and somewhat condescending. This was particularly frustrating as I would usually do due diligence and seek out the videos to find answers first and ended up calling or emailing as a last resort.

### "TPS - A Must for Small Accounting Firms!"

Pros

Time entry for employees is easy, straightforward and requires very little time. The ability to live-track time has improved time tracking compliance. Billing functionality has transformed how and when we bill. Being able to simply and quickly bill directly from TPS has taken out a lot of manual time calculation and manual billing compilation. For the first time we're actually able to start interim billing our clients, which they actually greatly appreciate as bills are timely for work performed and doesn't end up with one large bill for the year after year end.

Cons

The workflow management could be easier to use, I'm not quite sure how but presently the need to manually click on each individual client in the calendar and select "Done" can be quite cumbersome. As a result we haven't used this functionality yet.

Ease in which time is entered and posted. Clients are easy to search and edit if required.

Cons

That if you want to see a past invoice, it must be downloaded to computer first. Should just automatically open in a PDF without having to save it...then find it and delete it when not required anymore.

Our apologies on the need to download documents/invoices. Displaying documents directly within a web-based program can sometimes lead to performance issues, especially for large or complex documents. Overall downloading documents provides users with flexibility, better performance, enhanced security, and compatibility with their preferred applications, contributing to an improved overall user experience. However, browsers like chrome allow you to attach a browser extension that will auto open pdf files.

### "Easy Switch"

Overall we are already very happy with the switch.

Pros

Being able to access time and billing off site. One employee is rarely in office and not having to come in solely to enter time is convenient. The self-help vidoes were amazing. Majority of what I've done in the product I didn't need the vidoes and it was pretty intuitive, but was nice to be able to click a video when I need more info.

Cons

The self help videos-I could make it smaller in the corner of the screen but really wish I could have pulled it to my second monitor so I could see what was being done in the video while clicking on my own screen. I liked being able to just click the multi-employee button in the desktop version, where now I have to filter to see all time for the month for all employees for billing.

Pros

We are very basic users. Time input by employees. Invoices input by me and payments input by me. The transition to TPS Cloud was very user friendly.

Cons

There are so many features that do not pertain to us. It would be helpful if I could just put as many e-mails and contacts within the Address tab of the client and not use contacts. I do not contact clients through TPS so this is not really a feature that is convenient for me.

A far as the contacts, we have made important improvements to our system regarding the Contacts and Email address section in TPS Cloud Axis. Emails will now be stored in the Contacts tab. Excellent, tech support is very responsive as well.

Pros

Ease of use, cost effective, great report selection.

Cons

Workflow - it is improved but, I still prefer to see my list in Excel that shows the dates for various stages of the tax prep process.

Time management, billing & invoicing. The many reports available for the management of my firm.

Cons

Workflow & Due Date Management. I would like this to be easier to set up and implement. I may need more training on this part of TPS.

It suits my needs an as accountant.

Pros

I have used both the desktop and cloud version, and using the cloud is more convenient, and there are less problems with lag and slow down than with the desktop version.

Cons

The cloud version is missing some of the easy tabbing and quality of life features I remember from the desktop version.Also being dependent on the internet connection to use the cloud version is a downside.
