January 17, 2023 5.0 I'm extremely satisfied with the Gigapixel AI's stellar functionality. Enhancing photos is a few taps away & the results look astonishing. The amazing user experience coupled with the pay-once approach immediately sold me onto trying out the software for my personal & productivity usage. Pros I'm genuinely impressed by the software's simplistic interface & robust capabilities to exponentially enhance my photos while maintaining reasonable file size of the end results. I usually use Gigapixel to upscale my old family vacation photos as well as pixelated images of BOQ invoice attachments on my office computer. Furthermore, I'm a big fan of the software's one-time payment system instead of being subscription-based, making it an even more compelling utility to have. Cons I started noticing images taking a little longer to finish upscaling ever since updating to version 6.3.0. I really hope a future update releases soon to resolve this minor inconvenience. Images are easily edited using drag and drop function, also uses your video processor unlike some of the video enhancer apps that use the CPU mainly. Pros This is one of the best image enhancing software, most used for enlargin images while keeping clarity at high level. Unlike most image editor software that simply enlarge pixels Gigapixel actually uses and AI function to redraw images in larger size, giving the best image enhancement ability in the industry especially when you need enlarging images. It has options to import and export using the most popular image formats. Some people even use it to enhance video quality by doing a frame by frame enhancing with Gigapixel then creating a new video. This is an excellent software. Cons Updates are slow to come out for this app and also could be offered for a lower price. But if you buy the bundle, it is nice to have, in case you need some day. Note that very recently, Topaz Labs created a new application called Photo AI, that includes all 4 existing software and does an amazing job ! Pros I had this application in a bundle from the editor Topaz Labs (Together with DeNoise, Sharpen and Jpeg to Raw). It is nice in some cases to be able to expand a picture without losing quality. It can not fit in all your needs, you will discover that, sometime, it can't save you. Pros From I've bought it, I love it. First at all it hasn't a subscription. You pay only one time. (you can pay every year for updates but it's not necessary for me). Second at all it's fast and affordable, it works without internet connection and, if you have a good VGA card, you can upscale x4 a 24mpx image in just 4-5secs Cons Generally you need to use this software with other 2 (DeNoise and Sharpen) then you need to buy 3 softwares to work as good. It's not very fast on old PCs or for ones without a good VGA cards. Upscale it's not perfect in many cases. On 20% of cases is better to not upscale because it creates not real artifacts. My sister-in-law had a really blurry photo of herself when she was a little girl photo take it in the 1980s and she was shocked to see that photo back to incredible high resolution Pros I love the software because it brings back that original image in any old photos like I’ve had so many photos that were blurry that were low resolution, Gigapixel AI Brought back all that quality and even if you take photos of a city and you had a low resolution photo blurry it will bring back all this features like having that Origanal original photo like you could find things in old photos that were blurry with the low resolution but after you use the Gigapixel AI on the low resolution photo, it will be like having the original photo back in your hands again. Pros Il risultato è eccezionale, se avete delle immagini o digitalizzate a bassa risoluzione o scattate con una fotocamera con pochi megapixel è il modo migliore per creare artificialmente con l'utilizzo dell'intelligenza artificiale un maggior dettaglio e definizione. Sufficientemente rapido su un buon pc, i risultati quasi sempre perfetti anche con le impostazioni di default. Cons Purtroppo la qualità è notevole partendo da fotografie un minimo già di qualità, se sono davvero troppo scarse dubito alcun software sia in grado di fare miracoli ma ad oggi fortunatamente foto del genere sono sempre più rare.
