Pros I have sent other LMS to sit on the bench because they are not an ALL-in-One solution. Welcome Mastera to my life. I have been trying this platform now for weeks and I can say it knocks it out of the park from day one. I can be up and running in no time. Now that I can embed videos for external sources, I am no longer limited to the storage they offer (100GB is generous). Cons I would like to see more video tutorials on how to navigate the platform make make the getting started much faster. I love the well-designed "luxury-looking" and modern interface that Mastera offers. This suits well with the intended approach of the app, towards those who wannt to offer "Premium-kind", hybrid between pre-recorded and live courses like individual coaching, fitness, classes for limited group of members. This is a great tool for teachers, coaches, tutors and anyone else who is an expert in a specific subject. Pros \- Beautiful design - Easy to use (you can be up and running within an hour) - Backend is easy to navigate - Good flexibility between online and in-person classes - All in one solution, including Programs, Classes, Posts, On-Demand content, etc. Cons \- Limited pricing options. Would be good to have early-bird or pay what you want (donation) pricing options - No Google calendar sync (it's on the roadmap) - No SMS outside US/Canada - No option to customize system text, eg. I was debating between Mastera and using a WordPress plug-in for offering courses because I wanted to keep my operating costs low. I am glad that I went for Mastera because it offers all the functionality I am looking for with a user-friendly interface. I am very happy with my purchase! I am also very impressed with their customer support. With a 30-minute customer success call with Mastera, I feel that I will be able to setup my first course this weekend! Pros Mastera is intuitive enough that even a non-technical person as I am is not intimidated. I did have some questions in the beginning but the support team was very helpful and cleared things up quickly. Connecting the platform to a subdomain on my website was surprisingly easy as well. Cons There were some problems in the beginning with setting up my very first course. But then again, I think this is more or less normal. I am using Mastera as an early adopter to their community functions. Pros The value is incredible at the cost of Mastera. After using Mastera over the past few days, it's a no-brainer to stick with this LTD. It's easy to use. I transferred my course in about 15 minutes. Plus, I'm excited about their roadmap - especially the community aspect. Don't miss out on this! Cons Mastera doesn't seperate itself as it currently stands to other LMS apps. Great video quality on my phone web browser, things are self explanatory in the web version. Teachers have separate payment gateways which is great! I am launching my first online courses and Mastera allows me to create my own academy page, to manage memberships, programs and even live classes. All this in a very intuitive way, so that I don’t have to stress about anything. Cons But I need the GDPR compliance (everyone of us in Europe do, I didn’t realize that it wasn’t GDPR compliant when I purchased it), the Paypal integration and the ability to translate the site in other languages.
