October 3, 2024 5.0 Loved my experience and will definitely spread the word to other businesses if they are looking for this platform. Pros I loved how user friendly Tinq is! Not difficult to navigate and loved the added wigits! :) Cons Nothing I disliked about it, for a quick second it wasn't sending my timesheets to my Payroll department but that was because I didn't use the link sent by Tinq - I created my own profile. I researched through more than 25 products, and finally narrowed the field to Tinq. At the time of the research, Tinq was not the least of the investment. But the features and support were what made the decision easy. When I took over as I.T. Manager at my current position, I was again tasked with finding a timeclock solution. Rather than going through a field of many products, I immediately called my contact at Tinq and began the process of setting Tinq up. The product is simple to setup, allows for many types of industries to use it, and the employees find that the product is completely intuitive. Pros The interface is intuitive, the price is affordable, the management is comprehensive, the structure is robust. Cons I would like more access to the backend of the product and ability to create api interfacing for Quickbooks Desktop. I would also like to have the ability to customize the kiosk app to include our company information. Reason for choosing Tinq Most of the other products were industry specific. Accurate time tracking is key, especially with all the new features Tinq provides. With additions like Project Management and Task Management, Tinq is becoming a bigger part of our business's operations. The customer service is second to none, and our team loves how easy and intuitive the app is. Pros Tinq makes it easy to get up and running quickly. Team members love how easy it is to use, and the fact that they have more oversight into verifying their time sheets. Time off requests makes it such an easy process for anyone to request time off, and for an Admin to review these requests. Geotagging is also such a benefit when it comes to seeing where time entries were performed. Cons No complaints. Software is updated often with improvements and new fatures. Review Source EK Emily K. No major technical issues Pros Easy off access across mobile apps. Convenient to open and close out with active tracking. Good way to have your task items tracked by a supervisor or yourself. Especially for billables Cons Only thing is when i search for a time that I manually entered after that it automatically submits that time. I really like the app. Pros I like that I have the clock-in accessibility in from the app. We work in homeless services and sometimes we have to work in the field so this makes it easy to clock in from anywhere and my supervisor know where I am when I clock in. We use a different system for PTO. Pros The system is pretty easy to figure out and use. From an administrator side it's easy to track hours. The ability to determine on an individual basis if someone is allowed to clock in from somewhere outside of the office is very helpful. Cons It is not unusual for the system to glitch. Cons On the iPad version of the Tinq app, the orientation is locked in the horizontal position, which could be inconvenient for companies who have a wall mounted kiosk station where the iPad is mounted vertically (this happened to my company).
