Associate Director Financial Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Incredibly responsive team with a simple and powerful investment platform" September 22, 2021 5.0 I've been absolutely blown away with the team's ability to integrate feature requests and bug fixes quickly and efficiently. The architecture of the platform allows for a lot of flexibility in configurations and the team has implemented a lot of controls at the admin level to allow me to configure each offering they way we need to. Pros WealthBlock has created an incredibly simple product that provides a lot of the configuration options needed to manage almost any kind of capital raise. Combining that with a pseudo CRM and client engagement system makes it incredibly easy to manage a stable of investors or create new offerings to market across a broader audience. Cons To support a highly flexible process (which tends to be quite custom for each of their clients) they had to sacrifice some level of automation on the investment process. This may be more straight forward if you integrate with their payment partners, accredited investor verification, or other services, but if you choose to do some of this off platform it requires a bit more care to manage effectively. We couldn't imagine moving our software needs to anyone else. Pros The WealthBlock crowdfunding platform software was the best decision we could have made for our platform. We compared all available alternatives and WealthBlock came out on tope in all categories. The quality and professionalism of their onboarding and platform support teams, as well as the ease of integrating necessary third-party providers is unmatched in the market. Pros The rapid responses I get when reaching out to Wealthblock support for assistance with navigating the platform's extensive feature set. This was very time-consuming and put a large burden on our clients and team. Pros The ability to control the process the subscription process by creating a client portal to populate subscription documents has streamlined our process immensely. Other software we explored did not give us the ability to customize the subscription process. Other companies took control of this process and we were at the mercy of their timeline to set up the documents. Pros WealthBlock's portal simplifies everything. We like how organized and robust the offering pages are. Because we are able to customize the information about our deals and the format, we have been able to create a unique look that is easy to read and easy to navigate for our investors. With WealthBlock, the investing process is much simpler as well (investor flow). By walking them through each step, we have found that more of our investors complete the entire process in just a few minutes, rather than getting partway through and abandoning it. The email engagement feature is also one of my favorites. Using it, we can easily create drip campaigns that go out to our audience, based on their interaction/interest level with the current deal. This helps save time when following up with our investors and provides value for them as well. Cons Since we've been on the platform for a year and a half, WealthBlock has continuously updated and improved their portal. Every time I've suggested a feature, they've implemented it or provided me with an alternate solution. As of now, WealthBlock has all the features we need. Reason for choosing WealthBlock WealthBlock's price was reasonable given the number of features it offers. Its team was also excellent. It was one of the more technologically advanced offerings and had built in flexiblity. The development team is smart and really takes feedback and incorporates it into the product, which is rare for SaaS, fintech offerings. Pros The product is very straightforward for both the admin and the client/investor to use. It is easy to launch a new offering and be an active fundraiser using WealthBlock. Visually the portfolio and transactions page make it clear what investors have invested in, when and how the asset is performing. Cons While admins can learn watching videos and can receive quick feedback via email from the customer success team, it is very difficult to schedule a call to talk through a solution. The team was responsive if we asked a few times for a call, especially during onboarding. Pros Customized content for each offering and the ability to track client activity are the biggest pro’s of the platform. Cons I have no concerns at this time. Pros WealthBlock is a comprehensive and solid funding platform backend that makes it very easy to self serve and create efficient processes. The product does what the team said it would and Wealthblock is open to suggestions and ways to improve the product. Their commitment to improving the technology supports firms using the platform and allows customers to focus on their core competency. Pros Setting up new offers, accounts, and workflows are very straightforward. In addition to the intuitive platform, there are great tutorial videos for every part of the platform. The support team is responsive and easy to work with. Cons With any new platform, especially one with a significant amount of features, it just takes time to get used to the platform.
