You set it up, add your content and it runs out of the box. No technical work, no duct taping tools together, no wasted time. The bigger shift comes from the TV-like format. Instead of dumping videos into a library, I can now create a "live" stream people can tune into. That changes how they engage. Now, people "show up" for my content. It feels shared and "alive". In my coaching community that matters a lot. People don’t get lost in endless content. They stay connected to what’s happening now. And its me who's setting the pace. Viloud sits somewhere between a course and a live session. I can keep the structure of recorded content and people experience it together. I'm overall very happy with my purchase and I feel confident recommending viloud to anyone who needs content served to their audience in an engaging way. I am very happy and I am considering upgrading more. Pros Ease of use. It's a very clean, easy interface that is user friendly. You don't need to be a techie to understand it from uploading videos to making channels to making websites. It's a fantastic platform. Cons They fixed it - we can now reorder the channels after they have been posted to the website.... Quail TV is a portal to showcase featured USQC members and to host Live Stream Q&A podcasts for USQuail and our top breeders. ViLoud has been easy to use, set up and customize, and the player is really nice. ViLoud allows us to manage our co-op member videos and the channel creation and website tools have saved me hours of custom coding. It's close to a plug and play option for our needs as one can find and is very affordable Pros Easy creation of channels, website(s), customization of video feeds and a great player that solves all of the issues we needed to launch "Quail TV", our USQuail Cooperative member podcast programming portal. Purchased through Appsumo deal and we are very happy with the UI Cons There are no real cons for us. I have a wishlist - but these are things ViLoud probably does that I have yet to master. I wish I could create my own promotional ads - like a selection of 5+/- 30sec brand clips that could be uploaded and have an input box to paste the viloud url of the video and have these auto rotate during a FAST channel, where our channel only advertised our brand or sponsor ads. I wish I had more control over the player page but I can probably embed channel codes into iframes on our website so our menu and header is still visible and functional, and I can create custom buttons for channel pages, but right now... As soon as our DNS records are updated... We have a perfectly functional "Quail TV" experience. I would like a guest UI where I could grant limit channel access or an API function where members can fill out a form, choose the member channel and enter submit a video... Perhaps with zapier I can do this? Finally, I would like to be able to upload videos from YouTube directly into our channels vs using up storage space but I can probably use an AI agent and figure out a work-around. It's intuitive and fast, and does exactly what they said it would do. Cons I'd love to be able to add "sub-channels." But that's not a complaint - more of a request! I'm a beginner in this sphere, and I was happy that the app makes it very clear how to do this without having to contact support or watch YouTube videos. Two thumbs up for me so far! Pros Simple setup, easy-to-understand interface, and well-documented. I was able to upload and link to existing video content with no issues. Setting up a website, embedding in existing site, and setting up custom domain were straightforward. I appreciated that, as a beginner to this sphere, all this was easy to do without watching tutorial vids or contacting support. Cons I found that some of the filtering options in the media manager did not work as intended. I also felt that simple reordering of the videos via drag-and-drop could get wieldy. The customer service is lackluster. It will take them days at a time to get back to you which is frustrating if you are waiting on a question concerning a feature or how to do something. In addition to this i think they should provide in-depth tutorial showcasing how to use some of their best features like the the ability to upload your items on Roku and other third party platforms. It took a lot of research for me to figure this out and it honestly should have not been that way. Pros Viloud is a content-sharing platform to which you can upload your own videos. You have the ability to make your own videos and upload them, with no need to worry about them being flagged or removed. Viloud also has the option to upload your content to the Roku, Apple TV, or Fire TV, allowing you to reach a whole new audience. Cons One of the things i did not like about Viloud is the interface of airing your content. I wish they allowed you to maybe specify when you wish it to air instead of drag and dropping it in the linear line. If you want your content to air at 6:45pm you have to scroll and drop it in the linear line during this time. Review Source OM Omar M. February 3, 2023 5.0 I needed an application that can convert my broadcast materials to various streaming and mobile platforms with as much ease as possible. I'm not a developer. I'm not a coder. I'm someone with a vision and I needed a company that could help me bring this vision to fruition. ViLoud makes me feel supported and as if they are in this fight with me to succeed. Pros The thing I like most about the software is its ease of use and then when you do have a question, the customer service is terrific. They answer me quickly and they give me real, honest answers. Unlike other companies, they help you solve problems, they don't just tell you what you can and can't do. They have a certain entrepreneurial spirit of wanting to always do the right thing for their customers that I find refreshing and I'm very appreciative. Cons There is nothing I don’t like about ViLoud, however two things I found odd, is not being able to see templates of how the integration will look on certain mobile apps, streaming apps etc. When designing you’d need to know how the integration of how your material looks in certain displays and not having this option readily available slows down the design process for the best possible user experience.
