Our migration and transition have been fantastic. HV support is extremely responsive. The software is intuitive and easy to use given that any operation a user may be executing is easily identified by a big red button (e.g. Save, Edit, etc.).

Pros

Helpful Village functionality reflects the input and needs of its member villages. So when there is an update, more than likely it will enhance our own ability to serve our members. It's passive best practices at its best. Everything in HV is about enabling villages to operate as effectively and efficiently as possible, because it is designed just for the village movement. So HV really understands how villages operate and is always willing to listen to new ideas for functionality.

Cons

Some nuances don't fit our village procedures exactly, but support is always ready to listen and willing to help us figure out how to use the software to satisfy our needs. I've never experienced such great tech support.

Reasons for choosing Helpful Village

Superior functionality designed specifically for villages. There are no other software platforms that do so, and the ones that do include villages don't necessarily understand how villages function. HV was reasonably priced.
