"An easier way to block spam comments."

Overall: Admin time wasted on identifying and removing spam wasn't something we really considered before using Human Presence, we saw it as a cost of doing business online. But now, we won't develop without it.

Pros: Two things stand out most to me.One. The interface is incredibly easy to understand, my team has no issue using it, and tickets to our IT desk for "help with Human Presence" have dried up completely. Within two short "show and tell" sessions, to introduce the plugin and how we expected it to be used, the team were able to integrate it into their day-to-day workflows. Two. It just blocks the spam. We use Contact Form 7, and once Human Presence as installed it began working immediately. Within a week, we saw an enormous drop in time wasted on spam comments.

Cons: We own and maintain our on-premise bare metal, and we monitor site performance very closely. Human Presence does have a noticeable effect on page loads and overall site performance. For Cloud users, this could be an issue, especially if you are trying to use the most cost effective instance setups.However... Once taken a part of a larger project, it's a perfectly reasonable performance hit, and it really does save us quite a bit of time in admin.
