I have recommended it to several colleagues and many have begun to use it. The free version to begin is so great to be able to experience the product prior to purchase unlike other competitors. Pros I like that I can always have it with the ease of a QR code even when I don't have physical business cards. The digital card version is very handy and a great value add to my business. Cons There could be a space to add a business blurb/elevator pitch on there when sending the card. This would help when someone is not physically in front of me and requests my digital card. Having a barcode onmy phone is the obvious solution. Cons People are "Scared" to scan anything with their phones. So, sometimes folks will push back a bit when I ask them to scan my ecard. The only downside is that if the other person doesn’t have Blinq, it can feel a little inconvenient. Still, it does the job well and keeps things straightforward. August 18, 2025 5.0 It's been really nice to be able to quickly share all of contact information, social media, and websites in one simple scan. People have been impressed with how easy it is and have downloaded the app right away. Pros I really love how quick and easy it is to share so much contact information at the scan of an image. There isn't any clumsy/inconsistent gestures or long links to follow- it just works. Cons I don't have too much that I don't like about blinq. If there was one thing that I would recommend, is a quicker way for Blinq to recognize phone numbers/contact information from non Blinq users to send back to Blinq user who's information was shared. If someone is going to save your info in their phone they are much more likely to reach out or respond to your messages! Pros Easy to use features with super helpful sharing options. Being able to share my card via QR code makes things super easy. The fact that potential clients can share their info back and Blinq tracks it makes it even better. Cons Sometimes the interface can be a little challenging for older clients. I do think a simpler option with fewer steps to save the contact would be easier for some people. Cons The system for non-blinq users. In blinq you can access shared contacts in a tab when both users are registered with blinq. But overall I think it’s a great app. Pros Blinq is a very user friendly app that all of my clients seem to enjoy. It makes it easy to transfer my information. Cons Sometimes when I send my card to people it doesn’t open. I attempted to do this myself and it sent a link but the link wasn’t clickable and the client has to copy the image and google it. Cons In some buildings without Wi-Fi, lack of signal makes it difficult to exchange cards. Sometimes card exchanges do not go through or cannot be confirmed until a later time. Pros Blinq makes one seem to be more professional and 'with the times' to send an electronic business card or QR code, Cons One thing that scares some people who I send the card or QR card to is the fact that they also have to download Blinq and are worried that they might receive unsolicited emails, spam or even virusses. Cons When someone scans, they should be able to just save your info direct to their contacts without needing to download Blinq. I get that Blinq wants to promote itself, but it feels like I have to promote them and me, or no one.
