It streamlined all the processes from the first moment, and it has become an essential tool for the company and my work team. The overall experience is magnificent. Pros I like it because it allows me to easily use the functions, which by the way are extraordinary and this saves me a lot of time. There are other programs that although they are a little more economical, they are a lot of work when you start using them. Therefore, the best thing is undoubtedly the ease with which you can start using it in the company. Cons The weakest point is the support, but it is something that can be solved. On more than one occasion I had problems communicating with the support team and they were not pleasant experiences. Cons Since we have started working with Tipalti, they have continued to innovate and bring other related products to market, such as Tipalti Card. We have not been able to utilize any of these yet. Pros Tipalti has in instrumental in so many aspects of our accounting improvements. We have implemented bill approvals with keeps us compliant as well as everyone accountable for their budget. We have been able to streamline and shorten our monthly closing process thanks to Tipalti. Lastly, Tipalti cards has allowed us to enable employees the ease of a company card with fast tracking and reconciliation. Cons I would love for a few tweaks on the platform interface but aside from that, no major cons. What more could you ask for? Pros After some disastrous implementations, Tipalti's white glove service was a breath of fresh air. Our implementation lead, \[sensitive content hidden\], walked us through each step and always made sure all of our questions were answered. This was by far the easiest implementation we've made. It made it completely worth every penny. Cons The UI is just a tad on the older side. I know they've got a lot on their roadmap but the automation pieces of it are still a little clunky. By offering tools like mobile receipt uploads and seamless integration, it streamlines tasks that used to take days. Features like mobile receipt capture are a big win for our traveling team, and the seamless integration with systems like Sage Intacct and Amex adds major efficiency. Tipalti is clearly listening to users; the recent update for precise coding shows they are committed to improvement and helping us get the automation we need. Cons The main drawback right now is a limitation in the approval workflow for corporate card spending. Card transactions currently go straight to finance, by-passing frontline managers, which is a key step for us. The good news is Tipalti is already addressing this with an enhanced approval workflow slated for release soon. It’s reassuring to see that a solution is already in progress based on user feedback. Pros Ease of payment, but I cannot tell anything else about Tipalti, only that it was a third party by which I would get paid at work. Cons Do not know since I only got paid via email. It's easy to use, the implementation process was all good and going through the platform is very smooth and user friendly. It has QBO integration, which facilitates the coding in our accounting system, saving us a lot of time. Pros It's very user friendly, and gives you control of everything that goes on. As well is very easy to generate reports and the support team is very responsive and helpful. Cons There's some minimum for payments to specific countries that is kind of a limitation for the staff we have there which lead us to use other platforms. I was looking for a way to pay our research contractors who live worldwide. We've paid people in more than 100 countries and with that needed to improve the efficiency of the process. We also had a concern that our worldwide payments are in compliance with money transfer regulations. Tipalti brought a terrific money transfer solution that's very efficient and supports a variety of payment options. We implemented Tipalti into our payment process and have since transferred millions of dollars worldwide. Pros Our researchers love the lower fees compared to just PayPal payments and the variety of money transfer choices. It's dependable and our researchers get paid in a dependable manner. The ability to capture payment details and tax forms without the headache of PCI compliance has been a big help for us. Cons Sometimes it would be nice if more of the configuration options were available in the actual application.
