It streamlined all the processes from the first moment, and it has become an essential tool for the company and my work team. The overall experience is magnificent. Pros I like it because it allows me to easily use the functions, which by the way are extraordinary and this saves me a lot of time. There are other programs that although they are a little more economical, they are a lot of work when you start using them. Therefore, the best thing is undoubtedly the ease with which you can start using it in the company. Cons The weakest point is the support, but it is something that can be solved. On more than one occasion I had problems communicating with the support team and they were not pleasant experiences. Pros Tipalti has in instrumental in so many aspects of our accounting improvements. We have implemented bill approvals with keeps us compliant as well as everyone accountable for their budget. We have been able to streamline and shorten our monthly closing process thanks to Tipalti. Lastly, Tipalti cards has allowed us to enable employees the ease of a company card with fast tracking and reconciliation. Cons I would love for a few tweaks on the platform interface but aside from that, no major cons. What more could you ask for? Pros After some disastrous implementations, Tipalti's white glove service was a breath of fresh air. Our implementation lead, \[sensitive content hidden\], walked us through each step and always made sure all of our questions were answered. This was by far the easiest implementation we've made. It made it completely worth every penny. Cons The UI is just a tad on the older side. I know they've got a lot on their roadmap but the automation pieces of it are still a little clunky. Cons The main drawback right now is a limitation in the approval workflow for corporate card spending. Card transactions currently go straight to finance, by-passing frontline managers, which is a key step for us. The good news is Tipalti is already addressing this with an enhanced approval workflow slated for release soon. It’s reassuring to see that a solution is already in progress based on user feedback. November 6, 2020 4.0 Pros I like the new ACH Debit feature that allows us to save time from manually transferring funds from our bank to Tipalti. This saves us a great deal of time! I also appreciate being able to create unique Payee ID's. Cons One of the issues I have is when you need to cancel an approval request, you are not able to let the approver know that the request has been cancelled. I It would be nice to be able to add bills to a payment order that has already been scheduled. No option to chat with the Support team when needing to reach out to them. It appears the only way to reach them is via email. Tipalti introduced a fantastic money transfer solution that is extremely effective and accommodates a range of payment methods. By integrating Tipalti into our payment procedure, we have sent millions of dollars overseas. Tipalti has greatly reduced the amount of time I spend processing invoice payments. Pros With Tipalti, it's simple to view the status of payments and invoices right away. Time and money are saved by having a single payment run for both domestic and international payments. Having a 100% paperless payables procedure is wonderful. The software handles processing invoices and paying vendors with relative ease when used independently. Cons One of my issues is that it is impossible to alert the authorizer that an approval claim has been made but been refused. If invoices could be included in a pending payment order, customers could readily track the status. The cost is not cheap. The implementation process takes some time. Their customer service is excellent and the on-boarding was not very time consuming, though we had just completed another software process so we had a lot of our materials ready in advance. Pros The flexiblity of the CSV based payment file. We can easily format our royalty payments coming out of our royalty software to meet the payment file. A quarterly royalty process used to take weeks, now with Tipalti and Curve Royalties it is a matter of hours with much higher customer satisfaction. Cons Having a payee list in the payee area would be an improvement instead of needing to export a CSV. Similarly, it would be great to be able to select a payee and click some sort of 'issue single payment' button for those instances where you need to issue a quick payment. These are more feature enhancements that would make the software close to perfect. Reason for choosing Tipalti From the customer end they just need to make a Tipalti account once, with Transferwise they essentially need a new bank account which is a large ask. Pros What I liked the most is its ability to completely simplify my affiliate payments. Before using this platform, I had to deal with a manual and tedious process that consumed a lot of time and resources. But now, I can automate the entire process, from affiliate onboarding to currency selection to sending payments. Cons One of the things that I liked the least is its initial learning curve. Tipalti automates half of what she was doing (setting up new suppliers, processing supplier invoices, setting up payment runs and actually paying suppliers) at a lower cost and the control environment is strengthened too. Pros The product is pretty easy to use, the supplier management puts the emphasis on the suppliers to get details correct, and because they want to be paid they are motivated to do so. In addition, the control environment is strengthened with the screening of suppliers and the internal digital invoice approval process of invoices means budget accountability is strengthened. It also integrates very well with NetSuite, which is important as that is my book of record. Cons The dashboard is not the best, it looks a bit out of date and could do with being refreshed. They all use different currencies and have different tax requirements, but with the help of this software, this is extremely easy to oversee. Pros I am a user of Tipalti who is not particularly well versed in finances, but the platform is so easy to understand that even I can use it with confidence. I also received excellent customer service from Tipalti numerous times. Cons I cannot say that there is anything I dislike about the software. I haven't had any major negative experiences so far.
