Overall experience regarding WebEx remains top notch as I’ve been using it more than a year over a long period of time it’s consistency has shown a lot of results .

The most impactful feature about WebEx that it keep us in touch with your colleagues , managers and team leads . End to end update can be shared easily among the team members

Cons

No , Nothing was difficult when it comes to WebEx , it’s a very simplified software used by my organisation and i didn’t find any difficulty integrating it with the process

My experience has been a pleasant surprise. My employer has a contract with this service and we use this platform for meetings where very sensitive information is discussed. It's been very simple to use thus far and we've had no issues with people gaining access to meetings.

Pros

I can easily join a meeting from my phone or computer with or without downloading a dedicated app. I also feel very secure using this product and feel like my sensitive information is not exposed. I also like the fact that I can choose to join meetings as a guest and still have similar functionality.

Cons

The interface is not the most attractive. But that is in no way a major issue and does not take away from the functionality of the program.

After downloading the Webex app, you'll have all the tools you need to organise meetings. Whiteboards, files, chats, and several add-on connectors to third-party apps, such as Sketch board and Smartsheet, are available for collaboration, much like Microsoft Teams. All of this works well with the app's meeting feature.

Pros

We use Webex to plan and attend a conference/meetings and Training. The Webex Support Center's quick reaction to client questions and problems is its most vital feature. Their excellent customer service team responds quickly to our issues by starting swift upgrades if there is a significant problem. Documentation is available, and everything is presented on a single, simple webpage, which is incredibly helpful for our team.

Cons

I haven't encountered any significant problems when using it

I started using webex as a students during our lockdown for covid since most of the lectures where hosted there. Having private messages is a plus and also meeting recording is more than useful. Sometimes there where some connectivity issues and kicking people out of the meeting. Overall, very decent online meetings software

Pros

Since I mostly used webex in the context of school lectures, I loved the fact that the teacher could record the lectures and I could watch them in my own time and pace (a lot of them where too early in the morning for me). Also, I liked the fact that we could communicate in private with other attendees (not crowding the team chat) for some extra clarification. Lastly, having the "raise hand" feature seemed quite nice in some cases, since I didn't have to stop the lecture by opening my mic whenever I felt like I needed to.

Cons

Well, there is not much to blame in Webex. Sometimes, mostly in lectures where there were too many attendees (more than 200 usually), some colleagues of mine faced issues with random kicking from the platform and of course the usually stuttering (you all really need to disable your cameras in such high bandwidth calls).

### "Handles large meetings quite well, but people still join with two devices to avoid issues"

It is being used by our client, big banking corporation, that trust the privacy of the platform which is probably the main driver for its choice. I've had much better user-experience with other similar software, but this being a "forced" platform to use, it's not that bad nowadays. Hopefully, they'd keep on improving it in the future as well.

Pros

I've seen webex meetings with about 150 participants and it worked without any issues. For big events it can even support the 'hidden participants' which is also great for hosting public events. Recently it got several updates which got rid of some of the most annoying problems with the platform (the "person joined the meeting" sound, people forgetting to mute themselves upon entering, ability to have co-hosts, introduced "push-to-talk" feature, easy switching between audio/video devices). Ability to easily record sessions is a plus. The desktop client can sync with Outlook/Webex so you can enjoy the "one-click-to-join" experience. It also works with people from outside the organization (anonymous logins), which enables widespread usage with contractors or other external staff in general.

Cons

\* In a meeting with ~100 people, around 30 of them will have joined with two devices - they would use one for seeing the screen and sharing video, and the other one for audio. It appears there's still issues with it which is quite annoying being it's 2021 and that's one of the basic features. \* The features only started rolling out since the pandemic broke out - the webex was looking pretty bad for quite some time, and it seems it got the attention only when competition threatened to surpass it. It's still not ideal and the product roadmap seems to be secret, which makes it hard to estimate its future. \* If you install the desktop client it is constantly using the microphone (even when there's no meeting, it's just sitting in the system-tray) - this not only raises concerns around privacy, but also my headphones don't like it and have constant background noise from it - I have to shut down the client to stop it.

### "Originally a Conference App, and now a full Virtual Conference Platform"

We first used Socio as a conference app at our conference in 2019, after selecting it from a list of 20+ options we'd tested. Our attendees loved it, and while there were some hiccups on site with managing customer service and notifications not always being real time, we were overall very impressed. For our 2020 conference we again looked at dozens of competing conference apps, but in the end Socio remained the best fit for our specific needs. Due to Covid we ended up having to cancel our 2020 conference, and Socio was gracious enough to credit our purchase for use at our 2021 conference. As the pandemic went on though, we made the decision to switch our 2021 conference to a virtual conference, so started the process of reviewing virtual conference platforms. After looking at dozens of these, we finally came back to Socio and demoed their version. We were very impressed with the production quality they offered for our sessions and keynotes, and the networking opportunities they'd built into their platform. Only one other conference platform was close to their level, but Socio was a better fit for us all around so we are moving forward with them for our conference next March.

Pros

The software had all the features we were looking for, and implemented in a way that was easy for admins and users alike to use. Socio is also always improving their platform and adding, new useful features. I'm also really impressed with how well they were able to transition from a conference app to a full virtual conference platform, especially their implementation of the live video sessions and the networking opportunities.

Cons

The sponsor and exhibitor listings could be better. The logos are small and only allow square formatting, and the listings are functional, but nothing fancy compared to what I've seen in other conference apps and virtual conference platforms. I was also disappointed that they don't support live captioning for their new conference video solution.

Reason for choosing Webex Suite

This year when choosing a virtual conference platform, Pathable was the only other product that came close to meeting our needs. If Socio wasn't an option, I'm sure Pathable would have been able to do everything we needed. However for our specific conference where the two most important aspects are the networking connections and session experiences, Socio did both of these better than any other platform we demoed.

WIthout socio, I am not sure we could have put on a successful virtual event the past two years. Their tool and level of customer service literary kept our business alive. We heard from multiple attendees that are simply sick and tired of coming to virtual events, however, that socio was the best platform they had used and set us apart from other virtual events they had joined. In a post-event survey, 2/3 of our attendees rated the socio platform 4 or 5 stars (out of 5). There are always plusses and minuses to various platforms and nothing is ever going to be a perfect fit for everyone. Socio does so much very well but there are a few places, like the current way that presenters are cut off from attendees in the normal system that if that is what is most important to you, there may be better options. However, if you are talking about out-of-the-box solutions for an event of any size, their customer service puts them far above anyone else.

Pros

Our Main Event each year is a convention. Usually, it is in person with about 4000 people. Last two years we have been virtual. Socio was the event app for our last in-person event and the two virtual events we have held. It connects with our website and our registration system to automatically bring in content and attendee information. In this last year, we also used their platform for the streaming solution. The product itself is flexible but fairly easy to use. We have a fairly complex event (120+ sessions over three days with hundreds of speakers and dozens of sponsors) and not only did it handle it - but it looked good. Customer service and attention is the best that I have seen. We have used 4-5 different event app systems over the past decade and no one came close to socio in terms of both meeting our needs and responding to questions and issues

Cons

For an organization like out with so many sessions, speakers, and sponsors, but only a few staff members, it would be nice if there was a level of access to the back end content that we could give to the speakers and sponsors for example so they could upload their own information or make needed changes. Also within the socio studio - currently there is not an easy way for presenters to interact with chat or to handle Q&A. But based on my experience with them, I would not be surprised if this wasn't addressed in an upcoming update.

we had an issue in translating before , but before couple months Webex added this feature you can add an translator to your meetings , that was a huge improve in meetings world

It's an easy go software as there isn't much to do with integration part as it comes as SAAS platform. Its features and management are understandable to any professional and easy to learn.

Cons

If we connect over non webex platforms we may experience with audio issues. It is highly costly when compared to its competitors.

We used Webex Events to improve participant engagement and reduce staff time for a non-profit's annual 24-hour ski marathon. The app enabled us to put a lot of different participant materials in a single, continually updated location (agenda, rules, announcements, hour-by-hour results, etc.) enabling our staff to spend much less time printing and distributing materials and much more time engaging with participants. The athletes loved the app because they could see their results in real time and track how they and their teammates were doing in real time.

Pros

We evaluated several different event platforms, and Socios seemed like the easiest to set-up and manage. We first tried to use another platform and that proved too difficult so we pivoted back to Socio (which was more expensive, but worth it in the end.) As a board member of a small, community-based non-profit that produces an annual 24-hour skiing event, we wanted an application to improve participant engagement and reduce work for staff. The results we got in our first year with the Socio / Webex events app were phenomenal.Over half of our 600 athletes used the app over the two days of our 24-hour ski marathon, totaling over 23,000 minutes of usage! The built-in features of the app around Agenda, Announcements, and Participant networking were easy to set up and delivered a lot of value in reducing work on our staff.Even more impressive was how easy it was for us to seamlessly integrate with additional content to deliver a highly-tailored experience to our attendees -- the Web link feature is extremely valuable (especially the ability to pass External ID to a URL), and our athletes were able to continually see their progress in a custom "achievements" web page we built (~2300 clicks from ~280 users), as well as pull up the individual and team rankings in real-time from our race-timing vendor (another 6600 clicks cross 280 users). Additionally, our ability to embed documents and text content made the Event App a one-stop place for rules, instructions and other key details

Cons

There are some small downsides, especially for folks on a tight budget. These include extra costs for API access, branded apps (in IOS / Android store), etc. Also, once you set up an external ID for a participant it's difficult to change

After attempting to work with a few other solutions, we found that Webex / Socio was a much more intuitive and easy to set-up platform. All of the pre-built apps (user lists, agenda, announcements, etc.) have a standard way to import data via spreadsheet that enabled us to get a lot of content into the app very quickly. Additionally, it was super-easy to link to specific feeds (the event Instagram, a race timing application, etc.) so that we created a very content-rich app experience with minimal set-up work

Overall Experience with Webex is Amazing. Also, major meetings are done through Webex(Casual/Formal). The tools and layout of the video are superb. Highly Recommended.

Pros

The most impactful feature found in Webex is Application Encryption which provides security and also the second one is its collaboration tools. Where one need not to take the help of the external collaborator to interact with its users. Whiteboard collaborator which gives liability to draw on a whiteboard or in any file where we can explain the important part which is only possible by drawing the prototype design. Through this collaborator, one can easily do that.

Cons

Its interface can be made more user-friendly. Though it is, but more better UI design needs to be implemented which can impact Webex and make it more scalable in the business platforms.

I think that Webex seeks to expand its target market, not just be a communications software solution used by large companies with hundreds of employees, but also reach people who need to have quality, secure and reliable communication, which I think is a great Webex initiative. Having access to a top-level communications tool like Webex is fabulous, it's such a complete tool, I'm going to call it powerful, that when you get to use it efficiently you realize that your own activities or business improves, your life becomes easier. for having everything you need to use with all the people you need to communicate with. Webex integrates with many of the software applications that are commonly used today in our work or professional world; promotes the concept of hybrid work (work is not where you go, it's what you do and how you do it), inclusion where language is not a barrier (transcription in real time in more than 100 languages), among other concepts, which I think is a wonderful collaborative tool.

Pros

The brand does matter when you are looking for something good, it matters when you are looking for stable environments, reliable communications and available at any time, it does matter when you need support, people who help you in those moments when you really need it. It is not only what you see on your screen as a user or what you can do with the tool, but also what exists behind it, which many times we do not see, we do not know, and therefore we give little or no importance. I have been involved in the world of information technology and communications for years; I do not consider myself a guru, an expert specialist in a subject, but I have had the opportunity to grow professionally alongside companies or brands that today do not need an introduction, they do not need someone like me to speak well of them; For many years they have demonstrated with their position in the market the importance and value they offer in today's life, a life of changes, adaptation, and long-distance communication to be closer each time. There are many Communications tools, many applications that allow calls between users, establish remote meetings, send messages/chat (in fact I think there are many that offer these services), but when someone ask me what I like most about Webex, my answer It's simple and clear: "Webex by Cisco". Webex has the knowledge, experience, technology and support of Cisco, If you're looking for something good for all your communications, Webex is the solution.

Cons

Cisco offers robust solutions (Webex is not the exception); from my point of view it has always been characterized by having very good solutions functionally (seek to be powerful and simple at the same time) that fulfill the purpose for which they were developed, hardware and software, and the Cisco's graphical user interfaces (GUI) usually have become so simple (simplified functions in a few buttons or few options) that are not as friendly as they could be. It seems to me the GUI of Webex could be more user-friendly because in my experience many end users need graphic and colorful solutions that make it easier for them to use the tools (our brain works by capturing images among many others), otherwise not everyone will be ready to use Webex even though it is an excellent communications tool.

Overall it was ok, but I wouldn't recommend webex for online classroom/training. It has limited functionality, isn't effective on mobile devices for most features, and the support is terrible.

Pros

Webex had quite a few features and we ran most of our work through Webex Training (which most people, including support, don't even know exists). We were able to do surveys, testing, document sharing, screen sharing, chats, polling (quizzes), and media sharing. It functioned overall

Cons

Support for Webex is literally awful. download the help books and DIY any support. Support folks often don't speak fantastic English, which is an issue when you're discussing some of the technical terminology. We utilized Webex Training, a different type of Webex call, and support rarely even knew what that was and thought I was asking for training about Webex, not a specific product. 0/10 on customer support. Overall webex was glitchy and unreliable, but at the time it was the only contract my company held so I had no real choice. I was able to master it after a few months, but there were still things it simply couldn't do or do well. Testing my class participants was a real headache.

It can caters any number of users at a given point in time. I had privilege of hosting vitual event for 3000 user license. Configurations part is bit tricky but once done, it’s very user intuitive

Cons

Integration with third party app has its own challenges. Plus support Eco system for WebEx events is not that great

It is a more than wonderful program, very practical in organizing remote meetings, the image and sound quality is ideal in transferring and receiving information smoothly, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a way to teach or hold remote meetings

A program with many practical features, what I liked most about it:- Ease of use and integration with other programs and applications.- Supports all operating systems.- The picture and sound quality is very excellent

Great program, it would be nice to work on improving some details such as:- The price does not suit many categories.- The mute feature sometimes breaks down.- The feature of merging other screens is sometimes not smooth

Within the company webex we use about 5 times a week for more than 2 years. During that time, of course, we gradually discovered various features, such as a whiteboard for taking notes, sharing screens, and how many times we had something wrong. Apart from the human factor, mistakes do not occur otherwise and webex works exactly as we need it.

Pros

Significant acceleration of work processes and reduction of time required for work. I used to have to commute to a company meeting and spent about 5 hours on the road. Now? By clicking on the Join the meeting immediately button, I will get an extra 5 hours of time that I can spend in a more productive way. (For example, by writing this review)

Cons

The only option I miss is when using Blur Background there is no way to adjust the intensity of the blur. The transitions between my body and the background are quite sharp and striking. Otherwise, I don't miss anything in the webex.

In overall I'm very happy to use Cisco WebEx meetings while working in the office or during the business travels. Sharing information, getting or giving training, meeting with the team members or foreigners from distance never had been easy this much. WebEx increases our communication and sharing capabilities with it's many features...

Pros

HD video and audio conferencing is probably the best positive side of WebEx. Connectivity oprions e.g. landline or internet call also good. While you make the meeting, you can share your screen or even control other user screens and make some actions while controlling their screen as well. There are lots of ways to effectively use WebEx. Firstly, you may use mobile version (IOS, Android) of WebEx and quickly connect to your meetings while on the go. Secondly there are different add ons such as MS Outlook add on. This enables one-click WebEx feature; so that you can either add meeting link to your invitation or instantly start a meeting by just one click from outlook menu. There are also other tools like Record Meetings or Productivity tool, these give you change to increase efficiency; again by just one or two clicks.

Cons

Latest version of the WebEx has a very lean interface which makes it elegant but on the other hand some user controls are kind of hidden or hard to reach so you may struggle in the first hand; but can get used to by the time. Another drawback is the lag or slow down issue while sharing or controlling screens. I think the severity depends on your connection speed; but this is likely to happen if you use control features much. Lastly, connection with WebEx server may be an issue time to time; but I don't see this as a critical issue as it may happen with other service providers as well.

We didn’t have much bad experience at the end everything works well from desktop to mobile experience and great access to third-party applications like Slido.io to engage full participation in meeting.

Pros

Great to connect with devices that has the Webex application built in. Ask the best secure network connection for your meeting and even show a lock in the right corner if this meeting is protected salt know old are user can connect to this meeting.

Cons

The only thing we hate is when we creating our own host meeting at the end it will provide us a page where there is an message show up we would like to have this page not really show up. Grate for public meetings but not really for corporate meetings.

### "Amazing App!"

Socio is helping us by giving us an app for our yearly conference that enables hundreds of people to connect and provides them with useful information. We have also realized that we may want to use this app for more events during the year.

Pros

I love the new metrics and analytics on the back end. It made it very easy to track all things that the Attendees were focused on during the event. I also love the ability to be creative and add links, attachments, pdfs, etc..

Cons

There were a few things that I disliked. I dislike the fact that I cant reset attendees' passwords for them in the backend of the app. This was a severe issue, especially during the event, when people needed to download the app quickly and couldn't reset their password because they didn't have access to their email. I also wish that the socio app had the ability to add more than one email address to a specific person's profile. For example, if someone in the back end logs in under their personal email and not the email that we have on file, it creates two different users in the back end. It would also be nice to be able to link to more things internally in the app. For example the ability to link to maps, social feed and additional app icons created. Also, the ability to slow down the banners would be great — maybe a few options like 5, 10, 15 seconds before switching. It would also be helpful to make it even more distinguishable between past events and current events. We probably had 20+ people who accidentally logged into the 2019 event instead of the 2021 event and they became very confused. Maybe a warning that comes up, saying "Are you sure you want to access a previous event?”

Webex is is a very strong software suitable for small as well as large scale business. More over it is available for free for small scale organizations as it allows up to 100 participants for free.

Pros

Webex has many software's and its ability to work in integration with one another is astounding. The video conferencing platform is exceptionally good and reliable. The user interface of this platform is really easy to use and user friendly even for first time users. The platform provides almost all needed features for an efficient video conferencing or other tools to make the organization work faster without loosing much time.

Cons

It has almost all needed features but i just wish that the buttons for sharing was readily available. I also would be more happy if it provides a whiteboard feature with readily available button on the screen.

Personal Advantage and views :- 1) This software tool is available for mobile and Desktop. So it's making big difference for me. Whenever I want to connect my work meeting from home or some another location then I can join easily by mobile app. The mobile app is very important in case of electricity has disconnected at your home at a time of WFH and if you are working on desktop from your home then it's making big difference. The quality of voice and content on mobile app is same as desktop. \*\* Overall I liked this Cisco Webex tools very much for meeting purpose in software. I will recommend to other organization to use this tools. Thanks to Cisco for making such beautiful project.

Pros

1) Easy to use: Any common user can use this tools in easy manner. No need to do some extra effort. You only need to click given link in meeting. Then it will automatically download required meeting setup and then it will redirect you in a meeting. After joining the meeting your are able to see all participants in your meeting and who are speaking as well. So it's give better clarity for meeting members in understanding. 2) Audio/Voice Quality : I like Webex voice. The voice is very clear in your meeting. If you have less internet speed in that case you also able to listen your team member voice. 3) Shared content Quality: The Webex is giving power to share your screen in meeting. The quality of share content is very good. Other team members are able to see content very easily. 4)Different way to connect Audio in meeting: I like many audio option to connect a meeting. if you internet audio is not working then you able to connect by mobile call. 5) Able to see all participant on one screen and who is speaking this indication also able to see.

Cons

I have one point in Cons. Which related to cisco Webex Mobile app update from google play store. When we are updating this mobile app then we are facing some issue to connecting the meeting. All the filled details has been gone and you have to reenter those. It's means you have to keep your all details with you before updating this app. like you login name, Webex Url etc.
