Webex has enabled us to remain connected with our teams, customers and stakeholders no matter where or when and this strengthens teamwork, collaboration and communication in our business.

Pros

The level of customization, the number of features and most importantly, the smooth video conferencing or meeting experience that Webex delivers makes this platform a very strong contestant of remote collaboration activities.

Cons

There is not much to dislike, however, sometimes first time users struggle with the UI and have some difficulty in creating or attending sessions.

The Q&A easy polling is one of the great benefit for me. Low latency and requires small bandwidth. Very user friendly and looks premium on the user perspective. By far still the most premium, most clear voice/video and very user friendly. Cisco Webex Calling provides great features like integration with MS Teams wherein you can set your calendar through Teams by simply logging in your Webex account. A lot of our users choose Webex because the screensharing capability is unlike the other competitors that it feels like there's a delay. For webex, it is like having an RDP connection that runs smoothly with no latency.

Pros

The Q&A setting during meeting is a big plus for me because it is an easy on the spot polls during big meetings. The audio quality and video quality requires small bandwidths so this is a good pick for enterprises.

Cons

Sometimes we are having issues with our internet proxy so we just created a firewall policy directing webex access via application control. They might need to check something on their end. More costly that other competitors but for the usability of it there's no question, webex is the best of them all. No other applications can top my experience with Webex Calling.

My overall experience with webex is much good till now I started using WebEx when I joined a company we have daily calls, meetings, scrum meets and communication via webex Live chat and integration with Microsoft outlook brings all together at single frame as meetings in outlook are synced with webex and one get reminder accordingly. Team collaboration becomes easy. additionally I can also have status for webex account if I am away or if I need to inform something else The whole day we use webex and communicate through it

Pros

I like most about this software is everything I could say about I am just in love with the interface the features that are enabled and specially the integration with the Microsoft outlook. seems like I have everything in the single plate. The audio and video quality marks up the excellence . real time screen sharing doesn't show any delays neither being stable is required. Lot of features can be experienced.

Cons

There is nothing I dislike about webex just a thing I found annoying is it updates itself at any time sometime, when there is immediate meeting and at the same time if webex updates then there is delay in the important tasks rest all good to go

### "Pivot to virtual and pivot back to hybrid"

Before 2020, we have used Socio for our in-person events. Throughout 2020, we have used Socio to pivot our events program to be 100% virtual. 2021 and beyond, we will be using them for our hybrid events.

Pros

We have been a Socio customer since late 2017. From 2017 until our April 2020 event, they have been powering our live/in-person events. Throughout 2020, we have used their software and their amazing support team (shout out to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] for keeping up with me 😂) to pivot our events program to be 100% virtual and doubled the number of events we hold with them. After running RFPs with 6 virtual platforms, Socio was the clear winner with their virtual event platform as well. Looking into our 2021 events program, our plan is to start executing a hybrid (mix of virtual and in-person) strategy, and we are confident that Socio will deliver as they have been experts in the in-person events prior to virtual events even existing for our organization (unlike some other providers that are just virtual or in-person oriented)

Cons

No downsides at the moment. Their 24/5 support was extremely helpful, and we really wanted it to cover the weekend hours as well (since a few of our events happen on the weekends). Recently we have been notified by our customer success manager that they have expanded their support to include weekend hours as well. So, I can't complain.

Pros

No too many logins needed just a meeting link, one click, and boom! you join the meeting The application provides a very clear audio and video quality. The number of people it can accommodate in meetings awesome. The meeting still goes on even if the host disconnects or has internet connectivity problems. The android phone application is very stable and anyone with a good phone can use it. A good tool for conducting interviews online as it provides additional functionalities like a lobby and also meeting locking.

Cons

The pricing is slightly higher for individuals with a low budget. They should look into that It also needs a very stable internet bandwidth. I did not like the idea of using voice over the internet while using mobile phones. It also proved a difficulty for people who have no complete understanding of users to use the app on a mobile phone.

In this data-intensive world, it allows you to make audio-only calls, which is far superior. It also helps with meeting communication and the effective delivery of results to clients during these times. I'd like to point out that the chat and participants sidebars should be able to scroll and expand the chat window while the participant tab remains active but minimized.

Pros

It has many features, such as raising your hand or discussing through chats, creating polls, and a variety of other options to help the meeting run smoothly. I even attended a meeting with over 1300 people without experiencing any network problems. The ability to participate in meetings via audio streaming in order to conserve bandwidth is the most important feature.

Cons

If you are new to Webex and need to join a meeting right away, for example, there are many steps, such as clicking on the link>then the browser is called and you are asked to download, and you are not simply shown the option to join from the browser, even after installing the app, there are 3-4 clicks, and you still have to register, which takes time.

### "All the features and great customer service!"

Pros

We used Socio’s virtual platform, streaming, and registration services for a fully virtual conference in May and as the event manager I was very pleased with the platform and customer service. For us, this platform’s features fit our event perfectly, at fantastic value. The attendee filtering was a must, as well as the virtual expo. I was very impressed with how much data the event collected for exhibitors, it seems everything was tracked across the event. I was also impressed with the gamification feature, and as promised this feature did get our attendees moving around the event and they LOVED it. The event mobile app was also a huge plus as it helped modernize our event and provided extra support to attendees. To top it off, Socio had the best customer service I’ve experienced on any event platform. I received a response from the support chat within 5 minutes every time I ran into an issue. The support staff were always friendly and well-versed in their platform and were able to help resolve issues quickly. In addition to chat support, I had multiple meetings with Stevi while setting up the event, who took the time to explain each area of the platform until I truly felt confident. That level of support, in addition to the large catalogue of features provided and seamless integration between registration, streaming and platform are why I would give a strong recommendation to anyone to use Socio for your next virtual or hybrid event.

Cons

We needed a networking floor, and Socio doesn't have a built in networking floor option. They did have the option to use Wonder and embed it into the platform, which did create a streamlined look. However the functionality of Wonder compared to the functionality of the rest of the features, hosted by Socio, was obviously lacking. I would love to see Socio create their own version of a networking floor to keep things more consistent.

### "Versatile tool for today's business environment!"

Business problems are really discussed in the "pros" section above. Many in our company are now able to work from home for multiple days of the week on a permanent basis. Having a tool like Webex helps make this possible and I see it leading to cost savings as office space shrinks in the future. I'm very happy with the tool and enjoy its use.

Pros

With the new work from home push brought on from the COVID 19 pandemic, we needed to find tools that would facilitate the new normal. Webex is a great tool that we use for multiple applications. 1. We use this for internal chat back and forth within the company. This tool provides instant messaging that is faster than e-mail and more likely to be read by the user. 2. It is very good for web conferencing. This tool and others like it save on travel costs by allowing group meetings with people from all over the world to collaborate - face to face if the cameras are used. It is so much better than the expensive, clunky video conferencing equipment from 10-15 years ago. In addition to the web conferences, you can share your screen and do a live demo when conducting training on an ERP or other software applications. 3. VOIP - for me, working from home is a mixed blessing. One of the issues I have with working at home is that my cell service is very spotty in my home (we have cut the cord and only have cellular) Using Webex for VOIP yields a clearer signal than my cell phone and the cost is low for the VOIP services. 4. Security - our IT team evaluated this and found it to meet security requirements to allow use. (One of two collaboration/meeting tools allowed)

Cons

I don't have much that I dislike on this tool. One thing that can be a problem is that I have multiple tools we use for web conferencing and chat messages. Between checking two chat boxes plus e-mail and handling live calls and web conferences, it is easy to miss a message with so many ways to send them. I sometimes fail to see that I have a Webex message until hours or sometimes days later.

Being a legal service company and as per the company’s legal compliance, we have chosen the Cisco WebEx. In terms of legal compliance, the security of Cisco WebEx is quite good. We generally use it to conduct an online meetings with vendors and clients.

Pros

Cisco WebEx is the one-stop solution for online virtual meetings. Cisco Webex features include document, application and desktop sharing, Integrated audio and VOIP for toll-free calling, and Video Conferencing. Online meetings can be recording, editing, and played back later for retrieve useful information. The best feature I like is audio to text transcripts that WebEx creates for each meeting. So, you can choose to automatically receive recording transcriptions and you don’t have to focus on making notes during your meeting. Webex support integration with popular other software including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, IBM Lotus Notes and other IM solutions. Cisco WebEx is a cloud bases solution and meetings can be joined using desktop, browser, or mobile device with any client or additional plug-ins. Audio and Video quality are good and reduces background noises which may cause distractions. Cisco WebEx provides industry-leading security to each meeting held on its platform.

Cons

The mobile app seems to have functionalities as compared to the desktop app. The issue with audio and video over slower networks can be improved. Integration with third-party software can be improved. It usually takes time if you drop off in an ongoing meeting and then tries to rejoin again.

It is comparable to zoom, but a little more difficult to set up meetings. Much prefer Teams because it's easier to understand who is on the call and to upload documents for everyone to download. Webex has this feature too, but it's not integrated with our other software.

Pros

Side bar chat allows for easy question raising and sharing documents without disrupting discussion.

Cons

It is too difficult to set up a meeting and to sign into a meeting. Constantly having meetings start late because hosts or guests could not log in. Then once logged in, it was difficult to understand who was on the call because webex is hard/impossible to integrate with other software, much prefer Teams.

Hands down the best collaboration experience I have had. The platform is excellent, very stable and easy to use and essentially can be setup and run without the need to constantly tinker. The users also report an excellent user experience.

Pros

Easily the best enterprise level collaboration tool on the market. Cisco Webex provides the security and safety that some other tools do not bit all the bells and whistles needed to make collaboration effective. I rate this as the #1 enterprise level collaboration product I have used to date.

Cons

Some persons have commented that it can get very technical, especially in the initial setup as an admin. This may be or become a challenge as the user pool grows.

Pros

The video chatting and screen sharing are very important features and I enjoyed them very much. I was able to see, hear and present to my fellow classmates and colleagues when necessary. It ran clearly and smoothly.

At first the features where slightly difficult to navigate, as in my background image or controlling my audio and visual features. Took me a second to figure them out, but once I did everything was ok.

Cons

Excellent tool for business use that provides security and additional options that are essential to online meeting. I would recommend it over other competitors tools regardless of mentioning names; yet after all each business has its needs but personally I would recommend Cisco Webex if you are looking for a stable and secure meeting tool.

Pros

Cisco Webex has one of the best iPhone apps. Personally I've never had any problems with the app before. Yet I can say that it is a USER issue that cause the majority of audio difficulties that I've experienced such as: poor microphones, not talking close enough to the microphone of their phone or laptop, not self muting while dialing in, and the list can go on. I attend all of my WebEx meetings using the app while on the run and this has facilitated my work not to miss any meeting. Additionally, using Cisco tools is something that grants you and your coworkers security from Cyber attacks and your projects won't be sabotaged by hackers.

Cons

I wouldn't say that the tool has a downside because so far it has met its expectation as a meeting tool; but I would ask for some tweaks that can help make things above and beyond. It would be great to have a sound or an obvious blinking on the screen when someone raises his hand during a meeting. And if they could work on adding more countries to the list of landlines as free to dial in that would be a plus because so far some countries have to pay a fee to join from landlines (probably sign an agreement with more phone companies).

Overall a good product but I think they need to address the issues of people cutting in and out during presenting and also make the product more intuitive.

Pros

I like that this product is very intuitive. I can download plugins and sync it to my outlook directly. For someone who keeps forgetting about upcoming meetings and need reminders now ad again the webex plugin comes very handy. Cisco webex pops up small notification on the bottom right of the screen with time left to meeting and direct link to also joining the meeting. The best feature I like is that I can start the meeting directly from my pop up and it takes me straight to it. Cisco webex has two main platforms the regular meeting with your own room or team meetings. I use the my room meetings 99% of the time. It also allows a lot of participants to join in. It is more the 100 and I don't think anyone wll have any issue regarding hitting the max capacity. You can see videos of people in the meeting if they have enabled it. Also whoever is speaking their video pops up as the main video which is nice. The organizer can mute people and also give the authority of presentation, mouse and keyboard. The most unique feature I found was if you are the organizer after certain time you can lock your room and people would need permission to join in. I think that was really nice addition as it helps make meetings secure and more private.

Cons

I have had many issues with video feedback. They are either slow sluggish or sometimes they do cut in and out. Due to this during ongoing meeting I cannot follow the presenter step by step. I have been told it is usually the presenter's internet issue but it has happened multiple times with different presenters. I had to get my head around how the meeting scheduling works as it was not obvious right away. Sending the meeting invite with the phone number and link information is weird. One has to type in @webex to add the information but instead of always appearing on my message it appears after I have sent the email to all. I would like to make sure it is there before I send it which doesn;t seem to be an option.

Pros

Webex offers a very resourceful platform for online meetings. With features like super clear audio and video, background noise removal, speech enhancement, meeting recording, instant chatting, whiteboard, screensharing and audience interaction features like polling and Q&A, Webex always proves to be the best suited product to host online meetings, presentations, webinars and conferences.
