Pros The meeting recording feature, sometimes students are unable to attend classes due to personal reasons, for those students the missed lectures are provided as recorded lectures which helps them to keep up with the syllabus. Cons The User Interface of Webex's android app is difficult to understand and getting used to it is a totally different task. September 13, 2021 2.0 Overall it's a good tool for Video conferencing and I can see they have some great features being added to catch up. Pros The virtual meeting and calling features was the main advantage for webex. It's main focus was to be a robust solution of virtual meetings. It might be the most reliable solution for meetings. It integrates well with other existing softwares like Microsoft Outlook. The flexibility of having a VoIP physical telephone for Cisco Webex was excellent as it can provide the most reliable solution. In the current version the Share and Remote control features are exceptional. I miss those in Zoom. Cons The application has a lot of glitches. It crashes a more than a few times and your voice gets distorted some times. Webex is not as easy as say Zoom or Google Meet for beginners. It has a learning curve for grasp and catch on making it slightly difficult to use in an organization. There are very few background filter. I like that feature in Zoom where there are some filters for parties and some are for serious meetings. The functionality is certainly better than TEAMs. Pros The tool itself is very easy to use. It also helps to have features in the tool like recording, screen share,chat, viewing who is the in call. Having all this functionality allows the host of the meeting to run it like they were in person as well as delegate control to others if they want. Cons it can be difficult to get into meetings if mutliple meetings are going at once but this is something that could have occurred with our implementation. February 27, 2022 4.0 Overall I had a good experience with Webex. Pros The best thing about Webex is that it loads up fast and there is less connectivity issues while organizing an online meeting. The video and audio quality is excellent even if there are a maximum number of participants. The chat feature is hands down the best among other video conferencing softwares. Apart from that, it is easier to give presentation through Webex. It is convenient to take notes during a meeting. Webex supports integration with many other softwares. Also, the software works smoothly in browser. Cons The thing I disliked about Webex is that the layout is quite complex and inconvenient. It could have been a bit simpler. From the ease of set-up, customer support, product implementation, online options that mimicked in-person events, to the incredible metrics that are tracked, we couldn't have been happier with the software! Pros I like the interactive aspect of Cisco Webex. For instance it lets you change your background if your video camera is on. This is really helpful if you have to have your camera on and the room you are in isn’t presentable. Cons There is this glitch where if the meeting does not log in the first time and you exit and rejoin, you show up twice during the meeting. Like for instance if your name is John Doe, there would be two “John Doe”’s as participates. The audio and video sharing system is of excellent quality. This platform works great for screen-sharing. We have the option of giving or requesting control of the other user's screen. Webex enables us to record and download the meetings to watch them later. These meeting recordings can be saved to the cloud as well. Cons Sometimes the screen control does not work. I love SocioStreaming and it took our hybrid conference to the next level! The conference application is so easy to use, there is an entire library of support that covers anything you could ever need The support team is ultra personable and support is top-notch. I looked at over 100 different options due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and my members are extremely happy that we went with Socio. Cons The gamification could be increased. I wish it worked off of clicks and not code words. That is honestly the only issue that I have run into. It also works well when I attend meetings and conferences that are being held via Webex. My organization employs and teaches people of varying abilities, so the real-time closed captioning, although not perfect, is especially nice. Pros As an internal user (my org has a Webex account) it is likely the best program I've used. There are many functions that help simplify meetings, the video and audio quality is great, and it's easy for everyone to jump on a call/meeting. It also helps us facilitate remote work well. Cons It seems that people who are using Webex that are not part of our organization (i.e. don't have a Webex account) have trouble. When people need to remote in to our organization's meeting, for example, there seems to be an issue every time. Common complaints include "the link doesn't work," "my video won't work," "my microphone isn't working," etc. We always seem to get the issue resolved, it just takes extra time. It has expanded the functionalities and tools that we had with Jabber, since being registered in the cloud, it is not required to access our Data Center using VPNs. Also, in this way I have in a single application, all the necessary functionalities to collaborate with whoever needs it. It's excellent. Pros The best thing about Cisco Spark is that it allowed us during the panthemia, to continue collaborating with co-workers, customers and suppliers without any inconvenience. On the contrary, it has given us many tools to keep our work active. Cons The only thing against me is not being able to send a voice message from the computer using the microphone. " June 13, 2023 5.0 Pros If you’re looking for a tool to keep you connected with your colleagues, family or friends then Webex is the one, creating and joining meetings is easy, good quality video conferencing, it’s very secure unlike the competitors, first installation is pretty easy, just few clicks and you’re all set. I love all the features but recording a session is my favorite one, making sure I have something to reference when need be and also sharing with those who could not be able to join the meetings. It works well with a mobile phone making it very effective to work away from office. Screen sharing feature is excellent when doing presentations. It works well. We set up a panel of speakers, and others can contribute as they see fit. We regularly share presentations or run through documents during the meetings without any issues. We use the chat for sidebar topics or quick questions, and I like that you can direct where the chat is sent. Pros The application is relatively easy to use. We use it for larger conferences, and we set up a panel so that the main focus is on a few key people, but other contributors are automatically highlighted when they are adding to the discussion. Cons While it's a good idea to try to gather information to improve the product, my least favorite part of the Webex software (and at least a couple of other video conferencing programs) is that after every meeting we get a pop-up asking for feedback. June 30, 2022 5.0 My Webex experience has been great, and I pretty much have to use all it's competitors throughout the day due to other organizations not having Webex meeting platform. Webex is the most stable and user friendly in the business. Pros Very simple to use interface, collaboration tools in the application allow team to operate as if they are in the conference room when actually remote, and it seems to use much less data than it's competitors as you don't have to turn on your camera just to hear sound like with some other platforms! Cons Don't know that it is a dislike, but I'd like a feature that allows for quick audio switching from one bluetooth device to a different source. Other than that I don't really have anything I dislike about the platform. It is seamless and is easy to use. Never had any issues using this software! Pros When I started working, I was first introduced in using "Business Link" whenever we have client calls or conference bridge calls, and I thought that is already a great application used for conferences. However, when I transferred to Conduent (formerly known as Xerox) from Convergys, I now use WebEx Meeting Center whenever I do client calls, and conference calls with team members spread throughout the globe, and it surpassed my expectations. I or we (in the company) never had any problems using WebEx Meeting Center. WebEx Meeting Center is an easy to use software that lets you connect with people all around the globe at once without any worries of line interruption, inconvenient dialing-in process, and downtimes. WebEx Meeting Center lets team members record conference meetings and training, and this is very helpful since it provides us a video or file that we can cling to just in case we want to review what transpired on the call. Its video capability is also beneficial for me as a workforce manager since I can assess non-verbal cues of my clients, subordinates, and bosses. Pros Webex is a robust software that provides an excellent tool for communicating, live broad-casting, video-conferences, etc. I have not used it for a couple of years, but I did in the past for more than five years and I had a fantastic experience. I had to coordinate huge events, inviting people from more than 30 countries, and this software allowed me to organize the event, prepare and book all the features in advance, ask for service support during the meeting and even an operator. Control external sounds, control people by muting or turning off cameras. It also offers global toll-free numbers to help people with connection issues. Cons Maybe I would say that managing better fees for charging the toll-free connections to the master account. These are super easy to send and help you keep track of your upcoming events. Engaging audience is also the easiest thing with Webex. Polling, Q&A, and reactions are the primary ways of doing that. Cons What troubled me the most about this software was the limit of the participants that were allowed to join a meeting. Sometimes there would be lagging when over 250 people tried to join. Moreover, I faced issues with muting speed. The muting would not be instant and I had to wait for a few seconds. Another thing is that the mobile app should be better in terms of design and overall easier to use and navigate through windows popping up. Review Source Cullen R. The product is solid and performs incredibly well. But the product is only as good as the support and the support team beats anything I've experienced. They are timely, witty, knowledgable, and engaging. It is never transactional. They even follow up on things I've commented about doing. They are quick to offer solutions for creative solutions to ideas we have to leverage the app. All around impeccable online/virtually instant service. Pros We use the Socio product for our church members. It is an incredibly simple, convenient, and secure way to share information and keep everyone updated on events/activities. It is a very easy to use app for the user. The administrative process is also incredibly intuitive. It has worked flawlessly for our needs. And the instantly available support team is better than any on-line support I have ever received. This is a hallmark of distinction and sets them head and shoulders above other SaaS products I have used. Cons The only drawback we've had is the need to refresh the app. Users who are not as tech savvy may not recognize the need to update (a circle arrow icon in the top right of the app) the content from time to time. It is a very minor issue we've been able to educate around. On a scale of minor to major scale, this is an incredibly minor issue for us.
