Pros I like it because it offers the possibility to organize meetings quickly and participate from my mobile phone without performance or connection problems. It keeps us in daily communication by instant chat and allows us to exchange documents and files between colleagues. Cons I can't find anything negative to say about this platform. It is easy to use, you can chat with students, view their videos even while sharing is in progress, control the microphones, choose who can speak, and share files. The camera works well, so does the microphone. The program doesn't crash, and it's not too heavy. It can be used on computers and smartphones. I recommend it! Pros I really like that I can share more than one screen at the same time, and during the sharing I can see all the participants of the meeting, and also follow the chat. It is very nice to have this control and access of the software during the meetings. Cons I had no problems with webex. In the beginning it was normal the difficulty in learning how to use it, but then, with practice, it is very easy to use and functional. We had about 70% attendee adoption of installing the app, and it was great for communications, social sharing, agenda updates, and engagement throughout the event. The networking feature from Socio is one of the most unique I've seen and it seemed like people enjoyed the app. Pros It was very easy to set up many unique features on our event app. Our attendees loved playing the challenges and it was a great way to get them involved and engaged. Cons A few of our attendees said they had issues with getting logged in and finding out event in the generic listing, but that was easily solved at registration time. Pros Webex offers a very simple and uncomplicated platform for communication with outstanding calling, messaging, online events and online meeting functions which helps streamline the entire communication experience. With HD video, audio with super clarity, background noise removal and speech enhancement functions, it allows conversations to be clear such as no one can miss even a bit of the shared information. Also the screensharing and whiteboard features makes it a suitable platform for online events and presentations. I'd like to see some options where i could choose what is displayed / compact view etc. You can resize the window but the smallest size can still take up a chunk of your desktop. It loads up pretty quickly. in my experience AV quality in Wbex is superior. even with low speed interned Webex can share video and screen. There is very little lag in data transmission with Webex. When I share my screen, it pops right up on the other side. Cons Sometime Webex cannot integrate my outlook calendar correctly. And every time I log in, I have to sync my calendar manually. You can either download the app else there is a feature to join it temporarily using a quick download which is very handy. The process to register for a training and to access the recordings of prior meetings is very easy using webex. Cons Sometimes I see audio issues with the software, the audio pauses and he video goes on. Also due to bandwidth issues sometimes the presenter loses the connection and has to rejoin the meeting. It is clean and professional looking, doesn't overload the platform with things you don't need (every element is very customizable, so you can choose every piece to add), and while it was time consuming to build out, it was not hard to do and support was always there to help. For us, it really kept our attendees engaged, offered us the chance to share resources, have live and recorded content, and lots of options for sponsor engagement. Plus, their game option is great for building engagement. Pros My favorite element of this software is that you can pick and choose the elements you want as a part of your event--if you need to have a virtual trade show, there is an element that can do that; if you need to list your speakers, you can add that. It made the whole presentation on the user side look very customized and clean. There was nothing there you didn't want. Cons We used the add-on broadcast studio, Streamyard. If I had to say I wished for anything more than I got with Socio, it would be to be able to interact more with attendees in Streamyard....but that is a very small con. The broadcast studio was so easy to learn, and looked very professional. Cons When I am on the mobile app, I would love to be able to see the presenter screen while typing in the chat and not have to click the chat button and open it separately. The mobile app is also quite intuitive to use, and setup does not require any complicated software installations. we can just click a button and launch the application. WIth the introduction of the personal meeting rooms in the webex, the virtual office is a breeze to setup and collaborate meetings with others. The best part is that you can record meetings which can still be stored in the webex software enabling you to track your previous meetings. you can also upload and transfer multiple files therefore saving time.
