Pros it is awesome tool. it is very easy to schedules meeting with this . we can integrate its plugin with out outlook and can schedule meeting in one click. we can.we can record the current meeting going on which is very good option. it provide screen sharing option on single or extended desktops as well. Voice quality is good as it consume very less bandwidth. We can chat with the meeting participants to everyone and individual as well.lightweight software.integrated audio, video and content sharing is awesome. it can be installed on multiple platforms i.e. mobile, pc tablet, mac etc. Cons there is limitation like if we have large number of user wanted to join the webex meeting room then it will restrict us and also when we have a big team and persons start joing the meeting then initially we get disturbances from software and face difficulties in hearing them clearly but yes after some time it will became smooth.. It has the basic features and allows you to connect easily with others. It gets pricey as you expand in features and customer service leaves a lot to be desired. This would not be an ideal choice for those who struggle with adequate bandwidth. Pros Setting up this platform and getting started is easy. There are many things that are intuitive if you're just using it to connect with others. Cons The ability to change how you view everyone on the call is limited. Also, if you don't have strong internet connectivity, you may experience intermittent connection and even some disconnections. Attempting to troubleshoot issues usually takes longer than one hour so don't bother trying to resolve an issue in time to get back on before your meeting ends. Previously, hosting 1-2 webinars a week. Pros The variety of options are great for those of us who host meetings both large and small. The ability to set attendee functionalities (redirects after the meeting ends, chat privacy levels, etc.) means you can host an intimate meeting or a large-scale webinar. The integration with Teams and Outlook is a nice feature for meeting on the fly. The levels of privacy related to screen sharing is critical for those of us who need to monitor proprietary information. Cons A word of advice is to set all recording capabilities ahead of time. Ensure you're downloading registrant and attendee lists early and often in case there is a glitch and the data gets lost. Sometimes it can be tricky to find and analytics post-meeting so there is a slight learning curve upon initial trial. You will have to ensure you set your own best practices for hosting these meetings (turning off/on attendee entrance beeps, etc.). This is our organizations first time using an event software (mostly because of the covid world that we live in currently) but after much research and with socio's help, we are learning hybrid and virtual events are here to stay so they are such a blessing and great investment for us. They are defiantly going to elevate our events and meetings in the future. Pros The software has been so user friendly. You can build out your event in no time with lots of options for customization. There are a lot of event software that offer similar products but from the beginning socio stood out for our organization, mostly because of there customer service. It is amazing that during any time i can ask a questions ( (no matter how big or small) in the chat on socios webpage and they get back to you within a few minutes. They have plenty of options for people to choose what type of event support they need which is nice as well. You get your own soico team as well that you can always check in with. Those folks are also lifesavers and have been so helpful brainstorming ideas etc. You also get access to training videos and amazing webinars monthly! They are always coming out with new features for the software, and send emails out showing you how to integrate and use them. Lastly and most important is that they defiantly go above and beyond for their customers. It shows in everything they do. Cons To be honest , everything that was difficult or had a hard for me was solved with a quick help chat. Pros Cisco WebEx Meetings is almost a staple of any large enterprise communication plan. It comes packed with features from voice and video integration to desktop sharing to recording meetings. In modern times it has picked up on items such as quality of streaming video and audio and performance of the overall application, even adding a Chrome extension for quick use. Cons Despite its recent improvements, Cisco WebEx meetings is still quite bulky and slow to load compared to its competition. The current company I work for uses three different meeting tools and I always am pleased when I see Webex being the chosen tool. The others always seem to have some kind of trouble. Pros The best thing I really have come to admire about Webex over anything other such as Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, or even Slack is that it just works. No matter which device you're using or where you're connecting from, it works. Everyone's voice is always clear and you can easily tell who is speaking or sharing. The placement of every item is well thought out and I can't stress this enough, it just works! Best of all, regular updates reassure me that bugs are being taken care of while more innovation is implemented. Cons There isn't much I can think of that would be a con from Cisco's side. I had an older car where the sound would not play through my bluetooth but I don't blame Webex for that. They can't account for every car's audio system. Once in a blue moon a recurring webex meeting will just not work and claim to "not exist" but easy fix to just resend a meeting invite. Other than that, no other downsides I can think of. However, it has a lot of catching up to do with its competition. It also needs to finish combining with Webex Meetings, as now it feels a bit split-brain. Pros The chat and video conferencing features all work decently well. The meetings features work well with the Webex room devices. There are lots of features that let you integrate with your AD and Exchange enviroments. Cons Some features feel a little clunky and under developed. Chat works well on most devices, but some features are not yet available on mobile. Features roll out to some devices before others. Terminal Server environments are not supported. Data cannot be migrated between users. I have used zoom, bluejeans, gotomeeting and webex is second to none. The screen sharing capabilities, ease of use of the software, the integration with outlook make it second to none if you are looking for a solution for video conferencing and remote solutions. Pros The software was easy to deploy to our business users. We have widespread use and access, it made meetings and attendance easy during the covid-19 pandemic. There is easy screen sharing capabilities and webex easily integrates with outlook to easily add webex details to a meeting invitation. You also have recording capabilities of meetings so you can post for reference later on. There are limitations to number of callers if you have an extra large company so our all employee meetings there are some limitations on total users. Cons The double muting feature if you dial in with a phone you have to both mute on the phone and the computer this should better integrate with the system so if unmuted on one it captures on other device. There is screen sharing but outside of chat box cannot collaborate by writing live on the screen (or not that I am aware of and have been using for years now). This was some 10 years ago, and Webex was the about the only professional platform to tick all the boxes. In spite of the presence of new solutions, we stayed loyal to Webex for its solid technological foundation. Pros The product provides a wealth of features required for organizing web events Cons Being the first in the game has its pro and cons. In case of Webex its user interface has aged a bit and would require to be revamped a bit Reason for choosing Webex Suite There was no competition initially. However, if you are wanting to use it to do remote demos and meetings with clients or potential clients, it's a bad option. Too much of a hassle for the end user. It offers decent features for webinars, like the ability to set the stage, mute attendees, and automatically switch cameras to the person speaking, but it is too unreliable when it comes to recording and proves difficult with the end user. Pros It is easy to use from an admin standpoint and offers all the features we needed. For meetings, it's perfectly fine. Cons The software just lacks top-end features and functionality. We often get complaints that clients can't get into meetings because of downloads that Webex requires. Audio and video quality could be better. And most notably, the recordings are incredibly underwhelming. The video recordings will freeze randomly making them unusable. Every recording we've created through Webex has had to be modified because there are points in the recording where the video feed is completely frozen. Review Source Jay S. Audio and Video quality is great. Option to attend over call. Option to have system call you back on your number. Cons Requires high speed internet connection for smooth voice and video. There is a free version of Webex but the enterprise plan is really where this shines allowing companies of 100s or even 1000s to stay connected with their clients and themselves. Pros Phone + VOIP compatibility is great: you can join meetings easily on the road. Even a minor feature of one-click join meetings from phones really highlights the time and effort put into optimizing the user experience. Controls make sharing screens easy and the ability to schedule, reschedule, and instantly create sessions allows WebEx to meet 99% of web conferencing needs. Integration with Outlook is a huge plus for most white-collar workers. Cons For smaller businesses that may be using the G-Suite, there isn't a level of integration that the Microsoft Suite has. While calling in via Webex invites is easy, the mobile app leaves a lot of room for improvement. During calls, background noise, sharing screen lag, and host computer lag are intermittent issues that pop up here and there but it's difficult to tell if that's an issue with Webex or the larger telecommunications technology stack.
