Pros

Well everything seem seem to work so seemlessly .I loved the very security systeh that would protect me and my customers. i know as my company grows so will WebEx grow with me . I trust Cisco has a very good brand name from dealing wit tem in the past.

Cons

Well there is a bit of a learning curve and being a young company we have our growing pains. I know we'll run into problems and hope support ther will get us through anything that comes up.

### "Just what we needed for our virtual meeting"

customer service was outstanding and responded to my questions in a very timely manner!

Pros

When we switched for Virtual Meetings due to the pandemic, we wanted a platform that was easy to use for our members who are not very tech savvy and Socio provided that and more. We were able to have a virtual exhibit hall that attendees actually visited and sponsors found it very useful. I would recommend Socio for many reasons but the main one being their outstanding customer service.

Cons

Not having the ability to have Sponsors populate their own booth information. that took time on our part.

### "Learn from Webex"

This software is really useful for conducting online classes very smoothly. I really enjoyed using this software both in PC and mobile phone. Best thing is that, there are lots of great features. There is also provision for joining the audio conference through mobile phone by dialing a code. This will be useful for people who have some mic problems in their PC. Overall, hassle free fabulous experience.

Pros

I really appreciate this wonderful software. Its really user-friendly and the interface is also good. It has some exceptional features like; the video conference can be recorded on the system, whenever one minimize this app in a mobile, an asterisk symbol will be displayed on top of the name, which is quite good to identify whether that guy is watching the screen or not.

Cons

There are lots of features in this software, but it is hard to find them from the interface. For example, it will take some time to search the record option in this software. one thing I don't like is that the recorded videos is available in the .wrf format only, it would have been great if there was an option to convert the video format into other most commonly used types like mp4 etc. Whenever a new guy is connecting with audio conference, then the mic will turn on automatically, I really didn't liked this part.

great experience so far, never had major difficulties or any generated by the tool. I would pick it again for my meetings solutions

Pros

I'd been using WebEx for more than 5 years now, and its always been a very stable solution for important meetings, it allows you to link with your conference call solution and record your sessions if desired. also the admin panel allows you to see who is attending and what % of their time the attendants are actually paying attention by having the meeting window on top of all the windows (not multitasking). I used this tool for meetings with more than 200 attendants globally and it works smooth, you can do chats for questions and instant pools, dashboards, desktop sharing or only specific windows sharing. the mobile option is pretty good also, when you are on the road it allows you to watch the presentations is very good quality and real time.

Cons

the initial set up may be annoying, the very first time you use the tool requires installation of the WebEx plugging and if you are just on time for your meeting you may be delayed by this installation, that may take couple minutes.

Overall, I do like the program. There are a few things I would tweak, as mentioned earlier. When you try and find eLearning videos, I do not feel there is much out there. Usually, when I need help, it is immediate. The program has quite a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it works fairly well.

Pros

Ease of use for single meetings. I like that I can have access to other team members' calendars. It is simple to set up a meeting and let others run it if you are unavailable.

Cons

The main thing I struggle with is when you have a series of meetings and need to change one meeting in the series for either adding or removing someone, changing a room, etc., you cannot. You have to either cancel the meeting and send a new invite or cancel the whole series. I try to send a little email invites as possible and I feel this way, I am sending multiple. Also, if there are future meetings, in a series, that is already booked in a certain room, it will not let me book my meeting. Since I cannot go into individual meetings of the series to edit, it can get very frustrating when we have limited meeting rooms on our campus.

The only thing I wish if that maybe I could purchase them for a few months - a year instead of having to purchase credits per event.

Pros

Socio was so easy to use right from the very start AND if, for some reason, you did have a struggle in some area, their customer service team has an unbeatable response time via chat. Lastly, in terms of learning, there are a lot of written articles, usually with videos or screenshots included, to teach you about all of their features and how some have chosen to utilize them. Your assigned Customer Success Manager will have 1-1 calls with you to walk through YOUR event and answer any pertinent questions, and on event day, everything went as smoothly as possible. Thank you Socio!

Cons

I wish I could chat with my guests from the Streaming Studio, having to lose a team member from the studio to have them sign in as a guest so they could chat was not my favorite.

### "Pretty Good, but Could Use some Fine Tuning"

We use it to video conference with potential vendors of software. It takes the place of the traveling salesman and it does a decent job of this. Despite its few drawbacks and hiccups, it works pretty well and does not require any sort of account to set up a meeting with a host. I would recommend this software.

Pros

It is relatively easy for me to set this software up for my users. Most of the time, we are the ones on the guest side of the session. We typically talk to other companies who are selling software and they use Webex to demo products. As far as getting into the session and getting set up it is easy as long as there is someone with admin privileges present. The video quality is okay, and the point usually gets across. It is nice that the host can share their computer screen for demos or presentations and it is nice that Webex does not require any user account creation to join a meeting. Also the ability to dial in to a conference call is wonderful if one side or the other is having sound or microphone problems.

Cons

It is impossible to set up Webex meetings on our domain without an administrator or technician being present. Webex requires a small program to be installed and this causes problems for end-users. They usually try to set it up themselves and mess something up or get stuck at the admin credentials screen. This is required every time someone schedules a Webex meeting. It has become such an issue that we ask users to let tech support know when the meeting is scheduled so we can make sure to be there.

Reason for choosing Webex Suite

More people seem to use Webex and skype requires user accounts for each user. Webex offers more features as well as a bit better user privacy.

Cisco WebEx has a wide variety of functions (sharing, productivity tools, recording on the presenter control screen, the VOIP function in WebEx works very well, etc.). Passing roles to other participants is very easy to do in WebEx. It also integrates perfectly with the DX, MX and SX units. WebEx benefits the company by allowing users to collaborate from anywhere and on any device (it's fast, efficient and secure, since we know who is on the other end and we can record our chat sessions to take notes).

Pros

The ease and clarity with which users communicate from different places is the best of WebEx. It is very fast, very safe, easy to install and does not require much interaction. The integration with teleconferencing units is excellent. In addition, Cisco WebEx gives us an effective and very secure collaboration, which allows us to reduce costs.

Cons

The interface is overwhelming for some users. There are other products similar to WebEx that have very simple interfaces designed for less experienced users.

Overall, Cisco WebEx provides you with utmost reliance and best VOIP quality in the industry, but you pay for the rest of the missing things. A lot of new tools provide way good features/ user experiences and indulges in the ecosystem. Unlike Cisco, which barely provides you with that experience.

Pros

1\. One of the best VOIP quality with this tool. 2. Test sounds within conference calls to make sure you are connected and listening real time conversations. 3. Comes from a brand name Cisco which assures ultimate reliability. 4. Works in legacy/ old systems as well.

Cons

1\. Build quality is relatively very cheap. 2. Software is not easy to use. In the start, the user will struggle a lot to understand where are the basic buttons, for example: screen share, audio settings and even to leave the meeting. 3. Themes/ colors are very stock and from one of the oldest schemes in industry. 4. Outlook plugin is having tons of bugs which makes it nearly un-usable at times.

HD video is clear and of very high quality. Screen sharing is a great deal especially for online meetings where you can do presentations by sharing screen. 30 days free trial is a great feature. Easy to use and set up. Compatible with many devices like phones, tablets, laptops etc making it very convenient to work remotely. I am able to hold meetings and invite a large number of attendees and the minutes/ meeting durations are not limited unlike competitors

Call quality, screen sharing, connecting multiple individuals even outside of company are really good for users.

Pros

It is always easy and ready to use. When I have an internet access, I can use everywhere even I am not at the office. Also, viewing portion with the ability to teleconference is really important for those who design and annotate some parts and webex provides this feature easily. In addition to these, one can connect to the webinar via access code.

Cons

The Web plugin has problem and it does not always start at first time. Also, phone application should be fixed. It has problem about video capabilities and seeing screen. Morever, there are lots of button for simple actions. Sometimes, if I want to meeting with many people, I can lose quality.

### "How do I feel about Webex"

I think Webex is trying to integrate many other applications since it's been merged by Cisco. So it's getting more convenient to use.

Pros

Currently it's been integrated with Webex Teams which became easier to schedule a meeting. It also has many additional handy features like file sending, sync with Outlook Automatic replies, BOTs and so on.

Cons

It might not be related to Webex as we are using LDAP for logging in but when I changed my name is Webex it resets the profile name once it's been logged out. There are some other issues like unwanted attendees could join the company private meetings, have to register the same recurring meetings. Those could be user occurred issues, though.

### "Amazing Value in Virtual Meetings"

Terrific, amazing, highly satisfied!

Pros

When my conference and meeting clients either canceled or moved to virtual delivery on their events in early 2020, I immediately began researching companies who could support a virtual conference platform. I interviewed and demoed at least 7-10 virtual meeting providers. Most providers had issues - they were either very expensive ($30k +), self-contained (no user updates), or lacked some piece of programming that we needed such as issuing of certificates or tracking attendee time in sessions. Socio provides an integrated platform at a reasonable cost that we can customize and update ourselves. They listen to user comments and are constantly adding features that we've asked about. I'm really amazed at their responsiveness! Their customer support is incredible with quick response and friendly staff. I use their platform for my clients and recommend Socio to others regularly.

Cons

The new Socio Room feature is great, but I would love to see it expanded to accommodate more people in a networking type environment. Right now, we recommend exhibitors use Zoom in their virtual exhibit rooms for networking meetings.

Cisco has always been my goto until 2020. With other competitors giving a lot more options and features that has changed.! I hope WebEx can catch up.

Pros

Webex has always been a go to for meetings and video conferencing. Integration with Cisco microphones and TouchPad makes it very easy to use andprovides great audio/video quality. Integration with outlook helps scheduling meetings quick.

Cons

WebEx needs to update a lot. Especially with the pandemic and everyone attending meetings from home. Needs additional background masking and ability to host webinars. Ability to interact with stickers will be a huge plus

Cisco Webex is the best communication tool I have tried, it allows me to be in direct contact with the teams that depend on my command, helps me to give guidelines when I am not in the office, meet with colleagues and collaborators through video calls and hold group meetings sharing a lot of information, documents and statistical graphs. It is a very stable and efficient software, allows very collaborative meetings and offers free trial.

Pros

I like Cisco Webex because it has managed to keep our company connected even in periods of saturation, it has a stable network that allows quality communications and no interference or call cuts are noticed, it has a clean and clear interface, very effective collaboration features and a price that fits our company's needs.

Cons

I have no complaints of any kind regarding this platform.

Pros

My team utilizes Webex for team meetings and occasional live streams. What I enjoy most about Webex is the ease of use and the setup process was simple. We haven't encountered any technical issues with Webex since we began using it in 2020, our meetings run smoothly and the features they offer are productive. As a host I have a lot of options, my team feels secure, and we are effective in our work.

Cons

Although we have no technical issues, there have been privacy concerns raised within my team.

Webex been a successful tool in facilitating meetings of all sorts. This been the choice of management on many levels for the aforementioned pros.

Pros

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Webex was the choice for executive management to hold meetings of all sorts especially video conferencing. This supported to overcome the challenges of not conducting face-to-face meetings, along with, HQ video streaming allowing for seamless interactions. If you are tight on schedule, or on trapped in rush hour, Webex solves this with its mobile app. This kept me engaged on different events and if screen is shared by presenter, you would still receive this HQ stream with "zoom-in" feature if tablet (or phone) screen is somehow tiny.

Cons

All in all, Webex facilitated mass number of meetings successfully. Memory fails me to remember the last I had a technical issue with it. One feature that might be handy to have (if not wrongly used) is muting attendance to avoid and echoing or cover for a friend who might accidently activated microphone.

### "Constant updates to fix problems"

Tech Support was horrible except for one guy who I started to then use as my 'go-to' resource.

Pros

I've used this software for four years now and Cisco is constantly trying to fix bugs and bad design. Four years ago, the software was better than it is today. It started faster, performed better, and required less maintenance than today.

Cons

It's odd how a company as large as Cisco can have such a weak set of requirements to upgrade an existing product that was good to begin with... as we received each new update, the software got worse and worse over a 2 year period. It seems like maybe they are finally coming back around to a level playing field, but now there are so many competitors that it is relatively easy to find a reliable service.
