Pros Ease of use Our company is global so we have offices in America as well as China and finding a meeting 'space' is hard across the timezones and country restrictions. WebEx provides a platform that can be utilised across the board. The fact that colleagues with Mac laptops can utilise it as well as those with ordinary windows laptops. Being able to make notes on documents that are being shared is possibly the biggest bonus of all. Cons I cannot think of anything at all except that it relies on a decent communications network. February 1, 2021 5.0 Overall, it was good. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was there when we had questions. However, I wish the training/onboarding was a little more robust. It was a lot of trail and error on our part trying to figure everything out. The platform was very easy to use for our attendees and overall they really enjoyed using something other than Zoom. Pros We used this for a college student leadership conference. The live-stream option with the chat, Q&A and polling was very professional. The integration of the wonder.me rooms for networking was a great tool for breakout (and the ability to have a breakout within a breakout. Having everything in one engaging platform was something that our attendees really enjoyed. Cons The integration of the wonder.me rooms was a little tough at the beginning. There were also issues within the conference that people who get dropped from the room and had to get back in. Overall, it ended up fine but just had a few glitches. April 12, 2022 4.0 Overall I do find it a little more cumbursome in comparision to other modern tools. Especially from design POV. Pros The ability to connect via phone and quality of call is good. Cons The biggest problem happens when video can't be seen due to low bandwidth. Initially no call outs to explain why that was happening was frustrating. It's logical as the tool optimises for the voice quality but there should be a feature to ask whether attendee wants to continue or connect on a better network. Review Source JB Josh B. In my organization, WebEx is used for team meetings, one-on-one coachings, and any site-wide meetings or trainings. This program is extremely simple to use, no advanced configuration, no lengthy setup process, and I have a direct link I can use to get to my designated meeting spot with no guess work as to where to go. I can screen share with ease and with just a click of a button everyone in the room can see my screen in real-time without any lag whatsoever. Video chat works seamlessly and I can see multiple people’s video streams at once and they don’t seem to be choppy or cutout at all. Cons One thing I’ve never liked about WebEx is if there are too many people in one room (hundreds of people,) things can get chaotic and it will lag badly with audio, video, and sometimes it’ll even crash the program because it runs out of bandwidth. Another issue is with Mac at least, WebEx is not always the most reliable in terms of opening the program itself. I’ve had many times where clicking a web link wouldn’t open WebEx and I had to have a lengthy troubleshooting session with IT because they didn’t even know what the issue was. I would also say a con is that the design is a bit dated and WebEx could use a fresh coat of paint as it were; new labels for buttons, different font, different splash screen for meetings, etc. Review Source YM Yamkela M. Easy to set up the meetings and share with others. You have functionalities to share the screen (you can select to share the complete screen or a specific program), allow the people to annotate in the screen, share video. If you are the host of the meeting you can mute anyone and the other participants can raise a hand to get the attention. Also has an embedded chat. I strongly recommend this software, it is your best option to innovate your meetings. After using Socio for this event, we realized the benefits of the platform--it made connecting with others easy and helped us reimagine our upcoming hybrid event. Socio's sponsorship feature was a hit with our event sponsors and has helped us spotlight them in a more robust way. Pros Socio was straightforward to use, both in terms of setup and in user experience. We were able to upload 100 sessions in one click, and our attendees loved the ease of using the mobile and desktop apps interchangeably. The documentation and support staff made the experience seamless. Cons It would be nice to build out a more custom user profile with additional fields for attendees. I am working for geographically distributed team, Webex helps a lot for seamless communication. Pros I like the way its sync's up with the outlook calendar and shows up in the Webex meeting app. It shows the reminder and within one click we are able to join the meeting. Also the audio connect, I donot have to dial the meeting numbers it call up on the desk number or the number we specified and auto joins us. Cons The chat probably the need to improve on that feature. The font is too small, also if someone has typed something it doesn't show the notification. It makes conference calls a breeze. In a couple of clicks, you're ready to go. We can share our screens effortlessly, and that really makes collaborating a lot easier. It really is a time saver since everybody can join the meeting from their desks. No need to book a conference room or cram into a tiny office. I use WebEx Meeting Center to troubleshoot user issues. It really helps when I can see what they're seeing, and then I can explain what the issue is and how to resolve it. Pros It is incredibly simple to share screens between participants. If you have multiple participants, you can switch screens without delay. The chat window is helpful, especially when you need to share links or commands. It is the perfect learning and troubleshooting tool. It can be access through a desktop app, as well as through a browser, so you don't have to download anything if you don't want to. The ability to record meetings is underrated. Cons The audio can be a bit finicky. Sometimes the sound will drop, and I have to reconfigure my headset/microphone. Even though we were delayed in the timeline they gave us, they still supported us each step of the way. The software is easy to use. Cons Our workshop moderators were really nervous about the chat and Q&A feature during sessions. Socio was new to most of our attendees, but we were offered numerous opportunities to practice and become comfortable before our event. Additionally, Socio has not yet integrated Closed Captioning within StreamYard. Due to this we had to use Zoom with CC for some of our larger sessions. Looking forward to that additional feature in the future. Reason for choosing Webex Suite After scheduling demos with about five different platform companies, we decided on Socio because of the care, support, and guidance included in their package. Every issue that we had with the tool was fixed with a very short period of time. Pros The interface is very user-friendly and you can rely on it for multiple purposes. The viewer can extend the presentation up to the entire screen what makes their experience much better. Cons You have to input your password every time and this creates an unnecessary extra step. We also use it for virtual training sessions. It works. Support from Cisco is pretty good, but sometimes tickets get routed around before getting to the correct engineer. Pros It works, but I don't love it. The end-user interface is easy enough to use. I do like that I can start instant meetings or schedule meetings via Outlook. Cons There is a LOT of manual setup behind the scenes to get WebEx to work with a learning management system -- work that has to be performed EVERY time I set up a new meeting or training session. Cisco Webex is very easy to use application, you can easily send meeting invites. 2. The user interface of Webex is very intuitive. 3. The most important feature of Webex is audio and video recording, you can record your screen with one click. 4. It is the most demandable tool for job interviews. 5. It does not require a client to be installed on your local machine, you can easily access meetings from your web browser. 6. The best solution for Webinars. Cons I haven't faced any major issues with Cisco Webex Meetings. The following can be improved : 1. The application should work flawlessly in lower bandwidth, It's competitors such as Zoom, bluejeans works well with lower bandwidth. 2.
