A relatively simple to use product that does not run into many issues.

Pros

This is a way to bring people from all over together without actually being together. You are able to see eachother (or not) as well as present and share the presenting process.

Cons

There have been issues with the meeting locking and then not allowing me to enter the user in like you are supposed to be able to do from "the lobby"

### "Seamless most of the time"

Overall Webex is a good application and although it has some fixable problems it works well in most of the case. Only thing is it can be a little complicated to use initially.

Pros

The quality of the calls and meets in quite good most of the times. Its seamless and even when multiple people join the quality doesn't fall down. The streaming services works well too, even when streamed to a large number of people. So it has multiple uses and can be used to just have online short meetings to streaming videos and presentations to a lot of people. Its also useful to export the data of the participants and exporting the chats.

Cons

The windows app works quite well but the results are not same on the browser and also a lot of features are not available on web so if the software is not set up it isn't convenient. It takes a little to familiarize oneself with the software. The app is a little buggy and sometimes takes away the convenience and there are some limitations to it. The chats works well too, they could have some sophisticated options.

### "Easy-to-use, comprehensive tool with great support team"

Pros

Socio (WebEx) is easy to use and offers a comprehensive variety of features. However, it's not overwhelming like many of the other tools on the market seemed. For a marketing team with no developer planning our annual conference, it let us do our jobs without any extra help, and pull off a fantastic event that far exceeded everyone's expectations. We couldn't have done without Socio.

Cons

The backend navigation is a little clunky, but you get used to it.

### "WebEx - Good Product "

Pros

I like that it’s user friendly and the download functionality is straight forward. The temporary application makes it easy to be a guest and I don’t have to wait ten minutes to download a new product onto my laptop.

Cons

I feel like every time I use it the audio quality is not up to par. I don’t know if it’s just our computers or not but it is a bit frustrating. We now call in through our phones to help.

As an employee in an organisation with an important number of employee, I'am using Cisco webex since we got webinar and important conferences. this helped us to join meetings without having to move. It is very usefull when working remote from home so we can't miss important presentations. The ability to record meetings is very helpfull so we can check informations in every time.

Pros

Synchronisation with outlook calendar meeting scheduling good time latency Easy to use and access to meeting good quality of audio and video Screen sharing Ability to record meeting and presentation

Cons

Can have issues with vpn connection it's not the best choice for small meetings sometimes it switch automatically the audio input/output when connecting to a meeting(from headset to computer speakers for example) usage of CPU is important

In the end Webex did allow us to hold conference calls and meetings with internal and external customers. The software/application did work and we rarely had any support issues with the product. Our biggest challenges were the cost and lack of user functionality.

Pros

One of the few things we're really enjoyed about this product was the ability to host video conferences and share content. The ability to join from my phone or a computer is very beneficial when having meetings internally and externally.

Cons

The software is just too complex to use and starting meetings can be a hassle because of the clunky user interface. When we deploy the product it became very challenging to teach and users how to use the product.

I love how it shows you when someone is away/not paying attention. This is especially important when it comes to required trainings.

Webex has always been a virtual meeting workhorse allowing me to interact with team mates in international locations. Video and audio quality remain top notch, but its general user interface and functionality definitely needs to kick it up a notch to remain competitive. I wouldnt hestitate to use this, but it wouldnt be the first tool out of my tool kit if needing a video call.

Pros

Webex was one of the first conference and video meeting software vendors I had encountered in my early IT career and continues to be a solid product offering to this day. It is relatively easy to use (when things work, more on that shortly) and when set up works like a champ.

Cons

Webex has been around for quite some time and unfortunately has fallen a bit behind compared to its peer such as the ubiquitous name of Zoom. Webex requires an installation on your PC and some how the interface seems to be quite clunky. The video and audio quality are top notch, but I feel the user interface could definitely use a good face lift.

### "A grade above the rest"

Pretty superb honestly. I wasn't expecting much from an event management software, but was really (i mean really) appreciative of the customer support, the Live stream features, and the ability to customize everything. The feedback from users was really positive.

Pros

First off, the customer support is truly off the charts. Although there is a ~8 hour time difference between Socio and myself, they were super reactive each time I had a small question. Second, the product works as advertised, and is a great way to avoid zoom fatigue when hosting online events over several days. I particularly appreciated the Streamyard integration, while the gamification process was a massive hit with attendees. RTMP integration was also a great value add. In ~3 days, the platform was fully populated, customized, and ready for our 500+ person event.

Cons

Setting up the various pieces of content (users, speakers, sessions, etc) requires a bit of focus and some manual work, but overall the end result is worth it. One element that attendees mentioned was that the video size relative to the whole window was a bit small, if there was a way to reduce the left-hand side menu and/or chat, without going into full-screen mode, that would be great. Finally, raisin the limit to video sizes would help insulate organizers against internet outages.

### "WebEx - Easy to use!"

WebEx is very valuable to my organization and is simple enough for anyone to use

Pros

What I like most about using WebEx is the ease of use. I have used other video/sharing capabilities and none have been so user-friendly. I like when you first start a meeting you have the option to have the system call you which makes it a lot faster to start meetings. I also enjoy that one person doesn't have to be the presenter in order to share content. Anyone who is in the meeting can share their screen instead of having to pass presenter rights.

Cons

Sometimes my camera doesn't show up to other users but I can see myself. I think the function that is supposed to make the user who is talking the largest on screen isn't always accurate. Someone will be large when they aren't speaking. When you call in by phone and connect via video on your computer you will have two separate boxes appear. I know this can be fixed with the " call me feature" but having users as a box when they are audio only wastes space on the screen

my overall experience with cisco webex was excellent. One of the most user friendly and intuitive meeting software i have ever used.

Pros

The best thing about cisco webex meetings is that it is a versatile software which can be used on laptop, desktop, smart phones, video devices, etc. Another great thing is the scalability. It grows along with your business needs which is a very crucial factor.

Cons

I would call it a limitation rather than cons. The default browser for cisco webex is set to internet explorer and you would have to do some setting changes to make it work on chrome or any other browser. In my opinion, It should be flexible to work on any browser right off the bat.

It saved my travelling time especially when meetings to be conducted inter-city. Physical meetups usually take after meeting time also plus the arrangements of refreshments. Here you may sound real without being in a physical state at particular location.

Pros

I personally like the smoothness in the video and audio conversation. In addition to it, It was amazing to share the screen and present yourself online with buffer-free streaming speed. It made me sound physically present at the other-end.

Cons

It was little confusing me to get online as a guest first but it always want your email address to enter.

I can deem it to be one of the best digital teleconferencing tools at present & I hope it continues to give us the same level of service & support & make our conferencing need a piece of cake.

Pros

I absolutely liked the fact that Cisco Webex has about every small to major features included to have seamless communication with your client has made it an obvious choice when it comes to selecting a collaboration tool. Its call quality be it video or audio is really up to the mark with the capability of HD Video calling. One can also easily integrate all the meetings from outlook to Webex owing to simple support for integration. Cisco Webex also has a mobile version which is equally good & is very easily accessible.

Cons

I really don't see much scope for improvements as the team is really doing a commendable job in keeping with the latest industry norms. At times when on a poor & low latency network, the video quality seems to be distorted but apart from it it's never given me any such troubles.

Somewhat simple and stable software for product demos and screensharing.

Pros

I like having the option of using computer audio or calling in via phone. The "Call Me" function is also really handy when you don't want to navigate all of the dial-in options. Screensharing is easy to do, even if you have multiple screens. Having a "Personal Room" is handy when you have an impromptu call and just share the link.

Cons

International customer struggled to get the audio to work; some couldn't get it to work at all and we had to Skype/call directly. Less tech-savvy customers would accidentally click on a different tab that showed meeting info or notes, rather than my screenshare, and would cause confusion. If you had calls back to back and your next customer dialed in early, they would enter your current meeting and cause an awkward exchange and delay. Like every other VoIP software, there is the unfortunate delay when talking so people end up talking at the same time.

Overall our experience with Socio was very positive. We worked with their staff to build and execute our Virtual Fundraising Walk that is normally held in person.

Pros

The support staff at Socio helped us during every step of the process. Having our own unique app for our supporters to download was a great feature.

Cons

We were not able to easily link our internal database users to the Socio platform.

Socio fit our budget and had enough of the key features we were looking for.

The training was essential and it was the peak of the covid pandemic do I think it was a brilliant choice to use Webex

Pros

I loved the fact that we could communicate ideas and feedback through the chat feature while the training was going on. A lot of friendships were formed through those chats.

Cons

I was not sure if our chats were being monitored by the trainer. Its uncertain if the platform has a feature like that.

My overall experience with Webex was pretty seamless. Its very easy to use and gives us a lot of features to connect remotely with our team.

Pros

The features Webex provides are pretty great. There are different ways to connect your Audio which definitely comes handy when you are not around your laptop. You can dial in the number and enter the meeting number to join a meeting. It also gives you features like meeting recording, changing your background, screen sharing, etc. It covers almost all the features required to connect remotely with your team.

Cons

I have seen some bandwidth issues while connecting to video. Other than that I have not seen any major issues in Webex.

Very stable software for conference calls, easy to use on a daily basis.

Pros

It's easy to install and easy to use. Supports large number of users and makes conference calls just few clicks away. My team mostly uses it for phone con calls and that's where Cisco WebEx is at it's best.

Cons

The user interface isn't pretty. Video con calls aren't very practical, when large group of members are on a same call it gets really hard to keep track of everyone. Zoom and Microsoft Teams have much better user interface and are easier to use. I would recommend WebEx for phone calls only, but not so much for video calls as it's inferior in that area to its competitors.

It will auto connect back to meetings if disconnected due to poor network connections. Its secure online conferencing application, worth trying. Suitable for all companies. easy to connect anytime from anywhere. Can connect to same meeting with multiple ID's from multiple device at ease. Mobile version is the best and very convenient. Sound, Video quality is always the great.

Pros

Simple to install, Best & easy to use, Admin can auto mute all. Sound quality is the best. Easy to connect from all convenient platforms like mobile, web, desktop app. We can easily send invite from webex, incorporated through outlook. Used company wise for all meetings, knowledge transfers to record the sessions. It allows easy to add users. can dial from multiple global numbers to connect to meetings and are toll free.

Cons

Max limit is 250 users, when we have larger audience then that's something limitation. Sometimes if multiple people join then sometime audio gets disconnected. Manual Audio changes not applicable if connected from laptop audio to phone audio. need to disconnect and reconnect the audio.

I use it every day and whenever is use any other product (a few times a month) I am generally disappointed. Not because others are different, I usually just find them to be less featured and I run into more bugs.

Pros

Integration with Outlook is quite good. I use it daily for all my meetings with remote customers. I also like being able to screen share and at time control the screen. Both generally work quite well.

Cons

If you create an outlook meeting with a WebEx attached, changing the meeting or canceling is impossible if it is after the meeting starts. Changing recurring WebEx meetings also proves to be buggy. Customizing meeting templates is also a bit wonky and takes too long.

I can summarize my general experience as really succesful as I do use this product nearly daily with no major problem. It helps me to discuss any topit at time with other working collegues.

Pros

The ease of setting up a meeting of webex helps me to save timing at my work. To do this generally I use my meeting room and share the link with my collegues to meet at a time. THe video/audio meeting oportunities gives very flexilibity together with screen viewing and remote controlling.

Cons

The only disadvantage of the product is that the audio quality of the webex audio meeting. Unfortunatelly as the connection made on an internet line the voice quality worse than a normal phone call.
