The integration with Outlook is fantastic. Cons The videoconferencing can be clunky and cause other programs and the computer to run quite slowly. It eats a ton of bandwidth. It is also not the easiest to schedule phone call only meetings with easy dial-in information. We have team members around the country and across the globe and this tool brings them all together to meet and collaborate. It is vital for us as a team to all stay on the same page. Pros I like the ability to share out our team active sprint boards and do real time updates with the team on a daily basis. We use WebEx everyday for our stand up meetings because most of our team is located in another country. Cons Sometimes on initial use the install can be time consuming so it is important that team members address that before hand, otherwise it can hold up the meeting waiting for one user to try to get through the installation process. I use WebEx daily with my clients and it has dramatically improved the quality of our interaction, by being able to share our screens and communicate in a pinch. Pros I liked the ease for which I can use WebEx on my mobile device. I can either call in or join the meeting directly from my phone, and it's as if I'm joining via a desktop. Cons Sometimes there are slight delays in the video. This may have to do with the quality of a user's internet, but it becomes a nuisance and is unproductive when this happens. An improvement to WebEx would be if it utilizes small bandwidth to function. Pros WebEx excels in two specific areas for me: The tool is perfectly integrated into Microsoft Outlook, and allows for meetings to be set in a matter of seconds. This can not be overstated how easy that WebEx has made meeting creation. Also, with a team in 4 to 5 locations at any time, the ability to connect and share content has never been easier than using WebEx. Cons The one feature that would provide the biggest lift would be the ability to mark up shared content in the live environment. Our sponsors were wary about visibility during an online conference, but those fears subsided once they hopped on the platform and saw what we could build out for them. Cons Not much; there was a bit of a learning curve and some of the click paths could be shorter (your navigation menu changes based on how deep you are into your event platform, which was a little confusing. December 27, 2021 3.0 It had been a great communication and collaboration tool to start with in the earlier years, but having used other communications softwares, and seeing the comparative value - it has been a true pain using Webex in the recent times. Given a choice, I would not want to go for Webex. Pros The scalability and professional 'looking' UI. Cons 1\. Not one of the most easy User interfaces 2. Not a great User experience, having used other tools such as Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and Skype earlier, it has been a pain to use Webex 3. There could have been a basic transcription service integrated to Webex 4. There's no easy way to change backgrounds while getting in to calls or doing that mid-way 5. Pros I use and support others who use Webex Meetings. Ease of use is a big deal with thousands of users to support and Cisco Webex Meetings Nails it! Even the Least Tech Savvy users are able to join and or start meetings without issue. Cons Recently had issues after an upgrade of the software because the Outlook Integration was separated from the main package. However, once we got the add on re-installed, it worked like a dream. The screenshare is life saver for Network Engineers for troubleshooting the network device issues with TAC on call. Pros WebEx works like a charm for all the business day to day meetings and conferences to meet and discuss on the agenda. It has easy functionality and UI is very friendly to use. Cons Sometimes WebEx has issues on detecting the headphones of specific vendors which can be improved otherwise application works smoothly as expected with no lag or latency on video and sound. Pros By far, Webex has been the best performing Meetings solution available in the market. Everything from the multiple amount of distinguishing features like whiteboarding,file sharing to the best in standard security features and highly stable performance is what I like. Cons The interfaces can be overwhelming due to many amount of features for new users. But with time, the complexity of the interface allows power users to use the multiple features easily. Getting into a meeting is as simple as filling in your name and phone number. Once in the sharing features are really easy to use as is the ability to mute/unmute yourself. Pros Easy to use. Can join meetings from anywhere you have an internet connection. Can share individual applications or an entire screen with the group. The ability to mute individuals makes this ideal for large conference calls when people forget to mute themselves. Integrates nicely with Outlook email to easily set up Webex based meetings. With the exception to a few updates that have broken things, the product is solid. Pros Cisco Webex Meetings continues to be one of the industry-leading meeting platforms. Its easy to use and provides multiple ways to launch meetings. My favorite is the personal room where you can also collaborate on the fly. Cons The updates to the product can be taxing for the users and your customer support team. A couple of the updates broke some critical features, however, tech support was quick to fix the issues each time. Cost. Reason for choosing Webex Suite You get what you pay for. Top tier customer support and ease of use for the user community are keys to this very functional product. Be sure to take advantage of the onboarding meeting that they set up when you first come on as a customer. It was a huge help that set us up for success using the product. Pros I loved the customizable aspect of the app. There were so many different things I could do to personalize our app so it would look “on brand” for our event! Socio did a great job creating a workspace that was easy to understand and navigate. Our attendees had a blast using the “Shake to Connect” feature when at the event! The app made it very easy for our attendees connect with each other. Our attendees have expressed how easy it was to download their list of connections after the event was over so they could continue chatting with those they met at the event. The app made it easy for us to notify attendees when something in the schedule changed by sending out a push notification! The customer support we got from the Socio team was also amazing. They were very helpful and had great suggestions regarding how to get the most out of the app! Cons The app worked really well so I have nothing to complain about. A lot more people downloaded it than anticipated! Pros The best feature in cisco Webex is the ease of scheduling meetings and the ability to record them. Also, it allows us to share the recordings by giving the option to directly forward it to their email address. Cons The least favorite feature is that it needs a very strong and stable internet connection and some of the low-end machines have trouble getting on with cause some of the clients and staff do not have high-end computers or good internet connections.
