Everyone could join easily and access all the features like the raise your hand emoji, If you had to leave the session you could easily come back. It was nice to be able to have breakout rooms when the group needed to be smaller. It also offers a chat option that helped ask questions without interrupting the host. Pros It was easy to get it open and join the group. The videos and recordings were awesome. The chat feature was a great way to ask questions during presentations. It was cool the way you could change your background. Cons On occasion it would freeze but this happened only once during many presentation. Actually this is very easy to have meetups online and the functions are so flexible rather than the other similar web applications. Therefore the usage is very effective indeed. Video conferences are a breeze and it is easy to set up and use and you can customize it however you want. I really like the noise cancellation feature that it comes with to reduce background noise and enhance audio. this platform has really helped in enhancing team communication with my colleagues because it is inclusive so It doesn't matter where you are, you can get the same user experience as everyone. What I also like about it is that you have the option to use the web version and not install the app. I recommend it to anyone looking for an app where you can have team communication. Cons I don't have anything that I dislike about the app. It's great. Was well integrated with a lot of conference equipment. They probably stopped innovating on the product. I've never used it for personal applications but imagine I could if I wanted to. Pros I like that WebEx can integrate with other Cisco products as well as Outlook, resulting in increased efficiency in terms of patching together lines of communication and increasing visibility of communications between coworkers and organizations. I also tend to find that voice and video calling tend to maintain very high call quality, which isn't something I can always say about competitors Cons At times the software itself can be somewhat clunky -- it's obvious when using WebEx that it relies on a legacy infrastructure compared to some of its younger competitors. Pros Scheduling meetings is easier than you might expect; there is the option to hand over or request control of the meeting to someone else in the room. Like other platforms, it allows us to record but it is the only one that allows you to download the meetings for later, in addition, all its tools are enhanced compared to other software. Cons The meeting organizer needs to have a good knowledge about the product. The thing that sets Webex apart from other products is its scalability. Try doing an all-hands webcast for over 1K people around the globe and you'll find lots of products that are fine for four or five people on a video meetup just can't cope. Cons Have seen some issues over the deliverability of email notifications and the back end interface and reporting is pretty dated. March 9, 2020 4.0 I would say this is overall an amazing product to take care of long bridge calls for remote meetings. Pros WebEx meeting has a lot of amazing features like quick recording of the sessions and other chat capabilities of the package. Cons WebEx installed product sometimes does not connect easily with the meetings setup and also the configuration of audio does not get synched with the system audio. It seems that in the US is more common for companies to use it, than in Europe. Nevertheless of its price, it is far the best teleconferencing system I've ever tried. Pros It is very easy to use. If you are using dedicated Cisco Webex Roomkit devices or Cisco Webex Boards, it is surprisingly convenient and user friendly. With Webex boards, you can draw in multiple screens, the autofocus of the speaker in large rooms works flawlessly. There are some other technical advantages, too: - it can work with surprisingly low bandwidth links, even with EDGE (2G) mobile phone Internet connections. Video and Audio compression are working surprisingly good - it became "de facto" standard when we are speaking of complex teleconferencing meetings (of course, if you have additional hardware). On regular mobile or PC clients, it is a pretty much same software as others. Cons It has a really complex licensing model, and it is not affordable at all. Whenever we want to do some upgrades, we need to consult some of Cisco Certified specialists (they have that CCxx), and it is not easy to understand from the point of regular user. Reason for choosing Webex Suite We had to because most of our partner companies from the United States are using it. When we are having meetings with other companies in Europe, we do not use it as extensively as we do when we are having online meetings with US companies.
