It also let's us create a room in our name so it's easy to manage multiple rooms. Pros WebEx is very secure and works across different types of devices easily. We can join a meeting through a phone call even if we don't have internet which is unique. We can share screen and present slides easily. Cons Sometimes it could be a bit slow. We are using cisco web ex meeting with our internal team mates and customer as well. Pros We are using Cisco webez meetings for meeting with internal team mates. We can share content wise our screen with other team member. If we have multiple screen open on our desktop and we want to share single screen interface then webex giving a option. Cisco webex more secure and clear sharing content functionality. Cons Its require very high internet speed at the time of screen share. No functionality to create webex url with google calendar. Daily we are using it for online classes and webinar’s. We are doing a lot of screen sharing with it. It is very easy and useful .the whiteboard feature is commendable. Pros It manly helps us in scheduling daily classes and webinar’s in college. All students does have computers with them, they can easily attend classes and webinar’s on their smartphones.Interface is very easy and understandable you don’t need expert knowledge for understanding it.We can easily share files and share screen with the students. Cons Only problem when internet connection is not good audio and video can get disturbed. Almost all my meetings are by Webex. Pros Webex is very easy to use, it has a great integration with Outlook and has all the features I expect from a virtual meetings platform. Howver, there are some features that Zoom has and that I do not find in Webex. Cons Its appearence could be improved. Moreover, it could have other features that are present in Zoom. January 27, 2021 5.0 Using WebEx on a daily basis and recently tried to switch over to Microsoft Teams but I am not finding some of the convenient features that I really like with WebEx. I will stick with using WebEx for as long as our company allows. Pros I really like how WebEx sets up personal rooms for you to meet co-workers. You can meet instantly without having to go through the process of setting up a formal meeting. I really like recording meetings and having them emailed to me within minutes of the end of the call. I also just learned how to set up alternate hosts which is a really great feature in case you have any connection issues. Cons When I record a meeting and want to see who is talking, I don't see how WebEx records who is talking on the participant's panel. I have tried to figure out how to change this so that I don't have to record who is talking but I don't think this is an available feature. Everyday it is bringing me and my colleagues from different offices all over the world together, enabling us working efficiently. Really easy to set up a meeting, with only audio, or also video. Simple presentation features as sharing screen, raising hand, in-call chat. Cons sometimes the audio quality is not very good, but that is probably related to the network. It is a mediocre tool for organising meetings. My team switched to Microsoft Teams as it is much more flexible and does not have major bandwidth or network issues. It doesn't work effeciently on low bandwidth. Pros It's ability to access any meeting without actually installing the software is really helpful. Some of the basic features that this collaboration tool provides are: 1. Video conferencing 2. Join audio calls via any hand device 3. Screen share with or without being on call. 4. Calendar integration with Google, Outlook etc. 5. Conference recording. It is quite easy to use this application as it has an interactive interface. Cons Audio Quality isn't upto par. Pros I am a user of this software for customer service reasons. One of the main companies my business uses for our day to day activities connects with us through WebEx when we are having an issue they cannot trouble shoot over the phone. Also, when we need to do major company wide upgrades that affect our day to day business, sometimes they need to get into one of our computers and do a major overhaul. With them being based many states away, WebEx allows members of our company and their team to interface and have full access to the program on our server, and see exactly what is going on in our environment, in real time. There is no need to sit on a lengthy customer service call trying to explain a problem, when we can just let them take over and show them directly. Cons Due to the fact that I have two screens, and many of them only have one... this seems to really only support a one screen takeover. If there is an upgrade that allows them to see both, I am unaware. So, sometimes it means we have to keep trading off control to move things back and forth. It provides audio and video meeting with phone call or internet call, recoding function, chatting and all others. I was often the presenter for training sessions and once I got all the attendees online, we could just roll through. The trickiest part for new users was getting logged in. After that, it was a breeze to use. Pros The features that WebEx has to allow presenters to screen share, poll the attendees and chat are some of the best features of the product. Once WebEx is on a users computer, it is a snap to schedule a meeting or just start a meeting and invite attendees. Cons WebEx is slightly more complex and complicated to use that is scares some users. Not all users are ready to jump in and self teach but once you get started, you find out how easy the product is to use. Good quality in video and voice also with low bandwidht. A lot of good features more, a professional tools. Cons You have to install a plugin, for exaple for Chrome web browser. Pros I like the connectivity and the noise free communication of cisco webex the most. It is designed for professional presentations and technical meetups. Hence, you do not see a lot of gestures found in other fancy platforms. But this platform ensures that you can share your files, data properly. It also makes sure that you are heard at every window properly without any cutoffs. Cons I dislike the fact that I can not see the full list of attendees. Sometimes during my presentations, I need to see my group mate (if he /she logs off from his/her social media or any other reachable platform) to have proper communication during presentations. So, If it is corrected, then from a user end, cisco webex is pretty good. Cons Sometimes the schedules make confuse the creation of the meetings when you are and different countries. Some other cases i have to delete and install, the application for meetings by cisco from the computer because i was getting problems to establish connection to the meetings. Can handle many users together on webex- voice, video and Screenshare. Voice quality is also good. Easy to join the meeting- and also good integration with outlook as well as desktop app. Cons Not much... Overall a good product. WebEx has allowed all participants to see the same and has proven to be highly beneficial and professional. Pros It has the facility that allows me to integrate all the applications that I have on my computer at the time of making meetings with other participants, share my desk with other people and organize meetings from anywhere in the world. The white board is extremely useful when collaborating, and call recording is useful when you may need to copy it to someone who could not attend, or just to keep track. It does not matter what devices they use because of their compatibility and convergence with different operating systems, whether personal computers, Macs, tablets or mobile phones. Cons The function to search for a member is not giving the right results. There are problems to get multiple screens if we join the same meeting twice. It hangs up and we have to restart the web ex.
