### "One of the best softwares for online meeting and web conferencing"

June 27, 2022

4.0

Pros

The interface looks easy and beautiful. The software is pretty good in comparison to other options though it could be made better when it comes to intuitive UI and collaboration.

Cons

The UI feels a bit complex to use in comparison to other alternatives.

### "web conferencing and videoconferencing - Cisco Webex"

May 22, 2021

5.0

Excellent and super exciting software for the conference. Time effective, cost-effective no traveling hassle, and value for money. It shows the professionalism of the development team since they have covered every aspect of the user while doing the development.

Pros

Wonderful software introduced by WebEx and subsequently taken over by Cisco Systems. Superb software for web conferencing and videoconferencing. Further, we can pass the system controller to a host in different locations, share screens, Hosting conference calls, using for file developments and so many works to do. easy use and very cost-effective. Highly recommended to all the users.

Cons

The limitation of the meeting hosts at a single time must be reviewed. Other than that the functionality is really exciting. The session expiration also must be reviewed and there should be a good effective process must be implemented.

### "Very useful tool, I recommend it to all my friends"

May 30, 2022

5.0

Do what I need, works like a charm, using it is a pleasure

Pros

I like that Webex is very easy to use. Configure Your video and sound settings at the begining (very intuitive!) and from now on You are ready to go! If You want to record the meeting - no problem. You want to share something with others? Say no more, all these funcionalities are easy to use

Cons

I don't thing there is something Webex can improve. From my perspective Webex works as expected, all functionalities that I use are very intuitive and easy to find and run. I simply enjoy using it!

### "Useful Video Conference Tool"

March 10, 2018

4.0

I needed to use this program for a few webinars I was interested in joining or when I need technical assistance with a few platforms we use in our school district. So it enabled me to take part in these things. If I didn't have it I wouldn't have been able to join.

Pros

Covers the basics of what you need and expect with a video conferencing tool. A lot of companies use Cisco Webex for webinars or when you need to speak to a client or need technical assistance. I like that they offer a Google Chrome extension. This adds a level of simplicity to using the program and getting it started. Everything else is pretty standard as far as features and functionality.

Cons

Not much else to it unless your willing to pay and subscribe to their services. Kind of an all or nothing platform. If you need more data, analytics, and logistics you're going to need to pay for the premium version. Also, JAVA is sort of an outdated way to host meetings/conferences. Coupled with tools such as Appear.in and Google Hangouts, note quite sure the advantages here.

An excellent platform that enabled our team to collaborate anywhere and at anytime without any hassle.

Pros

Easy to use. Does not require any prior training. Abundance of add-on features.

### "No better way to deploy tech support"

December 22, 2020

5.0

Skype and Zoom have monopolized a lot of the solutions that Cisco Webex neatly includes, but I believe Cisco Webex to be far and away their superior in true screen-sharing (rather than just presenting it projector-style). Use it for tasks like tech support with companies who you would otherwise contact on the telephone, and you will find the task much, much less frustrating.

Pros

The product is straightforward in use and not difficult to learn; plus, it is so quickly accessible from a cold start. That combined with the comprehensive screen-sharing feature makes it absolutely perfect to perform tech support. In my position at an advertising agency, we used this software nearly every time we had to use a particular, very touchy, media planning tool. We would pop open this software, accept access to our computers from the tech support we called, and get everything fixed within mere minutes. That was a godsend, let me tell you.

Cons

While I found it straightforward to use, not all may (I say this as a younger professional who pleasantly surprised a long-term user in tech support, who was used to clients taking longer to follow their instructions). The other little con I found was a lack of some integration, although I may have simply missed opportunities that exist; while the program opened quickly and was always ready, I found myself searching through my computer for it on more than one occasion due to lack of app integration or with browsers.

### "Not the easiest tool "

August 30, 2020

2.0

Overall, the tool is too difficult. I do not like using it but I have to for work.

Pros

Once you learn the tool, using it is not too difficult. Sharing your screen on WebEx is easier than on competitors tools.

Cons

WebEx is a tough application to use. Sometimes it will not allow you into the meeting. When it does let you into the meeting, you will not be able to hear or speak. Passing host control is very difficult. As is giving someone control of your screen.

### "Web Ex is intuitive meeting software with some awesome features for accountability."

January 30, 2019

4.0

I use Cisco WebEx currently with clients that are unable to use RingCentral due to IT requirements. I think the tool makes non-power users feel comfortable quite quickly...something that others like Skype for Business seem to lack.

Pros

I love that WebEx makes it easy to share screens, remote control other users screens and run your meeting. Particularly, the fact that you can see it others are paying attention is very useful. The annotation tools are straightforward and I think in general the tool works quite well.

Cons

I find that on slow connections, the tool is not always as reliable as others in its sphere (GoToMeeting, RingCentral). I also feel that the breakout sessions and stuff are too complex...but that is more so because i don't have those large type of meetings. I find it complex with other tools as well (RingCentral).

### "WebEx is a breeze to get setup and start a meeting"

July 23, 2019

5.0

Overall WebEx is my goto for virtual meetings and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a clean professional virtual meeting tool.

Pros

WebEx is easy to setup and use for a meeting, the features are all there for recording, messaging, calling in, configuring video/audio, sharing your screen, etc. Probably most worth noting is that compared to some other big names in this particular industry WebEx is among some of the more affordable options which really helps drive me to making it the option for me. Being a Cisco product, WebEx also has superb Enterprise integrations which are super handy.

Cons

I could see WebEx being a bit confusing to use as a new user. It is also not entirely clear how to record a meeting, especially if you don't have the Desktop software up and running.

### "Online Learning Platform provider "

May 23, 2021

5.0

Using Webex for professional was happy to learn and experiment. Thought for personal and educational use it needs some improvement regarding the recordings viewing.

Pros

Webex is constantly improving by adding new features, currently satisfied with the new UI of Webex meetings, appreciate the emoji feedback on-board feature, hand-talk request, camera talk priority, sent private chats and communication overall is create. The host has great tools for collaborating and interactive sessions.

Cons

with huge class, participations slows down(depends on your internet connection) on normal Webex platform previewing the recording doesn't have forward or fast-forward options sadly, or it will be good to have an onboard screenshot option if it is legal and approved by the host.

Reason for choosing Webex Suite

It was recommended and default option through University (regarding personal use)

### "The world of remote meetings is indespensible - its a must to have in most organizations"

June 15, 2021

5.0

This Webex tool works nothing to complain about, it does exactly what remote users, sales, collaboration should do

Pros

Simple to use, works in all good ways - there were several editions of this solution that wasn't stable but it works and does what it says it should do

Cons

Stability is the latest release - freezing or stalled session - that's the only downside i could think of, now several vendors caught up to Webex - Zoom, GotoMeeting, etc... several alternatives

### "Cisco Webex - Meetings Managed"

October 21, 2020

4.0

It is very handy software during the pandemic time. It can be used along with CANVAS portal while taking exams to withhold the academic integrity of the institution.

Pros

Screen sharing and ability to control the shared screen. As a Teacher's Assistant it helps me to guide the students on their CAD assignments by controlling their cursor to help them in their coursework. Screen recording allows to view the lectures any time.

Cons

Some functionalities doesn't seem to work when using screen recording and screen sharing at the same time.

### "Easy Meeting tools"

February 6, 2019

4.0

Pros

Very user friendly interface. Very easy to find any menu options. I use it almost everyday, few things that I really like recording is really handy, chatting while in the meeting with an individual or to everybody. List of participants and you can see who's talking at what time. There integration with outlook works great.

Cons

Sharing screen when in the meeting lags a lot. I heard from few of my colleagues and it happens to me as well.

### "Difficult UX "

July 7, 2021

3.0

Overall, the tool can be recommended for large-scale org level usage but, it's difficult to use compared to Zoom when you're working a group of external stakeholders.

Pros

Once the user is able to establish the connect on call, most features work fairly well and the software is on par similar competitors.

Cons

The UX for using the web version of the software needs more work and customer feedback. It's very difficult to identify the features and use the software if you don't have it installed on the system. Also, if you're unable to use the software and if you dial-in using your phone with the tool free number, you will not be able to speak with the users who are connected via the meeting bridge.

### "CISCO WEBEX"

September 29, 2020

4.0

I think Cisco Webex's picture and sound quality are terrific. Allowing the users to text while still watching the presentation is helpful, as is the cal-in feature. I like to do both - watch the presentation and call-in that way I can avoid the echo or reverberation when asking and answering questions.

Pros

We used to use Cisco Webex for our monthly meetings, but seemed to switch to in-person meetings. Then the pandemic hit and everyone was forced to work and meet virtually from home. This caused some of us to rethink how we could meet often and easily in a secure manner. After some of our less important school meetings held in a different web program were hacked/interrupted by non-invited attendees, we needed to find a more secure platform and Cisco Webex was chosen. I have been happy and felt that my participation in these weekly meetings is safe and secure. As an attendee and user, I have found it fairly simple to use and like the option of sharing slides while still seeing other participants faces/names.

Cons

Sometimes the echo from other participants can be loud and annoying, but I think that is really a user issue and so we just mute all users until it's time for questions and answers. The other option is to tell the user to turn down their speaker volume when they want to answer a question or ask a question so their own voice on their speakers does not echo back at them.

### "Socio has changed the way to run events"

August 11, 2021

5.0

Ability to have our events where our staff/faculty are - we have campuses across the entire state of Indiana, and not all have the time to take away to travel to a meeting. The app allows us to provide a similar experience for those attending in person as those virtually. Cost- we are no longer spending dollars on printed material - all information operating to the event is in ONE place.

Pros

Socio is very user-friendly even if you don't have a lot of technology experience. Their knowledge base articles and support staff are extremely helpful.

Cons

There isn't really anything I like least - I feel comfortable asking if the app can do something or sug

### "Webex - for the cost cutters"

November 23, 2021

3.0

Frustratingly effective - enough to justify not getting a more expensive option.

Pros

Webex isn't particularly challenging to use, it has outdated UI compared to zoom or microsoft teams but it has a simplicity and classicness to it that I find older users understand easily and younger users can adapt to.

Cons

it isn't as feature or functionality rich at first glance as zoom or teams - you have to dig deeper or click several times to get to the same features.

### "Outstanding meeting experience"

December 3, 2019

5.0

Overall it's outstanding meeting experience. I don't think any other meetings app can replace it in near future.

Pros

Webex has a pretty simple and friendly user interface. One of the best features I like is sharing a specific application if you do not want to share all your applications on screen.

Cons

I think that bandwith consumption is high. I've tried joining meetings from mobile network and I do not get the same webex experience when using broadband network.

### "WebEx is a great collaboration tool"

October 1, 2018

5.0

We use WebEx daily and recommend it to our customers. It is easy to use and is well integrated.

Pros

Ease of use, Integration to office and other Apps, the ability to schedule a meeting on the fly, or just start a meeting in your personal room.

Cons

Sometimes in Outlook, it when cancelling a meeting it has issues. We integrate in to our AD server and sometimes it is not smart enough to look for the right credentials. One last Con is pricing. On the pricy side

good

Pros

We can add up to 1000 participants in Webex software, and most importantly we can even send the reminders through Webex even when the event starts.email invitee can be sent directly.

Cons

Once the meetings is started we cannot create pre-assigned breakout rooms because we have to then end the meeting and upload the csv file to create the breakout rooms.
