Webex is very much beneficial in online conferencing, webinars, on line courses and trainings. 2. It provides various essential products like meeting center, training center, event center etc. 3. We can easily attend a lot of participants through it. Cons Some time I feel some network issue challenges due to which voice distorted. But this all due to network issue not the webex related. I've used similar solutions that were much easier to use and had a more desirable user interface, but I've also used similar solutions that are much more difficult to use. Pros I like the screen share functionality. I find transferring controls and views seamless and easy to navigate. It definitely makes working with remote teams much more manageable. I rarely have connectivity or presentation issues which is great! Cons Sometimes users who call in aren't displayed correctly, sometime users are listed as twice for some reason. The user interface could be more pleasant. Pros We are using this application for our communication among worldwide offices and supplier. Sharing screen and connecting via several different devices (like as telephones, headsets etc.) is very easy. Cons Screen sharing may not be very efficient if internet speed is slot and creates lag. It is streamlined, and the most important things is that I trust the security. I have had a good experience, and I am glad to use Webex in the future. Pros WebEx is easy and reliable. We utilize it mainly because it is a secure platform to discuss proprietary or sensitive information. It is easy to setup and troubleshoot any audio or access issues. The ease of entering without disturbing a meeting in progress and sharing screens is also nice. I also like that it is paired with my Outlook mail so that it is easy to determine availability, find open rooms, and send invites all from my email. Cons What I like least is the lack of features compared to some other softwares: I would like availability for two people to share screens at once (to compare output) and to allow breakout rooms. Not having these things makes some actions (like breaking into smaller conversations during a meeting) inconvenient or not possible. Review Source Cathy M. I especially like the ability to save notes and record sessions for ease of review. Cons While there are several options to contact customer service, it is difficult to offer the correct solution for anyone needing technical assistance to join a meeting. I find this the most frustrating part of WebEx. I felt it was user friendly both for client and attendee. I would use this platform again for another virtual event/meeting. We had many complements on how well it was organized. Pros I felt the chat rooms were an important use for the conference. They have the attendees an avenue to socialize, connect and ask questions. Cons I would like to have able as a producer to star or flag something in the chat to ask in a Q&A session at the end of a presentation. Pros It's incredibly easy to use, and the ability of nearly all my customers and business partners to also use it is a giant plus. Many of the cheaper or free options won't make it past many firewalls or security protocols. Cons At the end of the day, cost is the thing I like least. With that said, the support structure and integration with Cisco does make it cost effective. It stores my phone number and will call me, so I don't have to dial in. The Mobile app seems to have full functionality. I can easily add a WebEx to my meeting with the Outlook plugin. It's great. Cons Sometimes reliability isn't 100% there and people have challenges "dialing in" to your WebEx. That's about it. Review Source GOURI S. I’ll highly recommend it to anyone looking for an app to communicate with other people in other places. Pros Webex is a really great app that really improves the way to communicate with others, you can use it for work, for education or just to meet with your friends and family, this software has a great capacity to add participants. What I liked the most was the easy to use features, it’s very intuitive and you can easily share your screen, show your camera or simply turn you microphone to speak Cons I’m really missing a feature to create rooms within the same app. My job sometimes requires to divide the room for activities but I wasn’t able to find that feature Review Source Alson K. " May 29, 2018 4.0 You can connect quickly with your clients that are also Webex users! The service is great and the connection rarely ever gets lost! I would recommend using this tool. Pros I like that Webex can successfully accomplish what it knows how to do best! It allows me to either do a video and audio or just an audio connect with my colleagues and clients. I think the connection is great, I never have any problems hearing the other end or visually issues. Cons My one problem with Webex is that it can really eat up a bunch of time at a beginning of a call if the client doesn't have webex on their end. The great thing with Google Hangouts is that you can just run it in your browser, no need to install or test anything to get the connection working. Cons There are delays at times with the screen sharing (could be related to internet connectivity) and like any conference call service, we seem to talk over each other at times. August 1, 2018 5.0 Pros Easily links to your Outlook calendar to give you notifications. Gives you updates on upcoming meetings as well as an easy popup link to connect to that meeting. Easy sync in with the option to add an external phone as your form of communication. Can also have WebEx call your phone if you have any issues. Also gives you an option to mute your phone, share multiple peoples screens with a simple click, and chance to chat within the WebEx player. Cons Only downside - sometimes the dial-in can take a while, I'm assuming this is mostly due to strength of connection. Review Source Raymond H. I know this sounds silly but it is a huge time saver and safety aspect while driving. It was easy to integrate our existing streaming service into this platform. Cons Using the most restricive access settings for our virtual events some users had trouble logging in. Most of the time this was due to user error, but there were rare instances where it just didn't seem to work quite right. We were able to find work arounds for the users that reached out to us.
