Pros I've used Zoom Info and GotoMeeting. WebEx seems to be the best in terms of functionality and simplicity. We share presentations and screens through webex. They have a dial in functionality along with connecting directly from your computer or phone for audio. Cons They need to a one click button to send the meeting to others where the recipient is able to click onto the link that takes them directly to the meeting. It makes people feel like they are in the same room during a meeting in different locations. Pros Audio and video efficiency during meetings is one of the things we love. Of course, the main purpose of the product is to bring people together is among the ones we have mentioned. Cons When we first started to use the "Error 23" which we could not fully understand for a short time, but this problem was fixed soon. Reason for choosing Webex Suite I recommend that multinational and time-constrained companies use this product, and you will see that it allows projects to progress faster. The video sharing, and doc sharing interface is really good, and also helps the users to solve issues or closed milestones timely like all on one room. Cons Audio quality has been not the best, the calls sometimes drop out of no where, also the instructions to enter to a meeting, are not always user friendly, you need to enter to many numbers, and sometimes is difficult to join. It is so great, I use it almost everyday at work. You can Cons I downloaded the Cisco - webex app on my ipad. I was sent the link and clicked on the link and I am unable to access my meeting from my ipad. I tried everything. I am HIGHLY disappointed at this. This is the biggest issue I have with Cisco. I could not work as much I do now and be so productive as I'm now by using Webex. A must for 2020 Compagnies Pros Secure. (Most important at 2020) Can realize meetings with 1000 users with no problem Sharing screen, roles and transfering host for meetings easily Interesting features for noise reduction, backgroud, preferences related to entry and exit rooms and invitees Cons It is quite expensive for small compagnies. For the entreprise I'm working is enabled to all units, but I know many compagnies are willing to use it, but it's not the cheaper choice (cheap isn't secure). Another point is when Webex isn't entreprise choice and they buy few licenses for specific needs, the features are not all enabled. (But this is the case for many applications). Pros It has enough features to use it for teleconferences, to record the video sessions, etc. Cons Not a fan of their UI at all. Chat is impossible to see. Often, the audio breaks in the latest version. It's pretty hard to understand where to get the saved recorded sessions and how soon they are available. Each of them have their strengths, especially for ad-hoc meetings, but none of them quite compare with WebEx. I like that I can phone in (or have it call me), or choose to talk via my PC. I like that I can share screens or use virtual whiteboards. I like that I can see who is in the meeting and send written messages to individuals or the group. Pros WebEx is intuitive and easy to use as a basic user, in addition to having some more advanced features that can be leveraged for an even better meeting experience. We've tried other tools that perform similar tasks, but none of them work quite as well as WebEx. Cons When sharing a screen, the most easily accessed features are limited in order to reduce screen real-estate. Accessing the other features can be more complicated in this scenario. The need to install plugins or software may hinder WebEx's use in some environments. We can quickly share our screen with them and vice versa which allows for better communication and better understanding of the issues we are working on. Pros Being able to call in or video chat into a meeting from anywhere has really opened up work opportunities for many people at our company. The screenshare feature is an obvious benefit, but it cannot be overstated how helpful this tool is when you are working with people that are out of the office. Cons Very rarely we have issues with links to our meeting rooms not working. This is usually rectified by resending or creating a new meeting room, but this can be frustrating when coordinating with multiple people in multiple locations. Whenever i needed to use Cisco Webex meetings i ended up with a smooth and without problems experience while communicating with colleagues of other countries. However, i suggest other user to use the desktop application for better audio and video quality. Pros No need to install. You can just use the browser version and schedule or participate in ad-hoc meetings with clients or colleagues. You just need an email and a Name. Nice chat feature and convenient recording option. Cons In order to use the full range of features the platform offers, you need to install the desktop version. The application is quite demanding in RAM, especially when using features like custom backgrounds.
