RA Health, Wellness and Fitness Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Webinars with HQ Audio" October 3, 2024 5.0 Our group uses Webex for weekly meetings and other general meetings. So far we have been enjoying it and I highly recommend it. Pros So far, we have been enjoying it because the quality of the audio is better than what I can get from other web meeting software like Google Meet. Also, I can easily see verified users from general email users so in large meetings, I can easily recognize if someone is from our company or not. It is important because our company has a lot of employees. Cons A lot of people think webinars are Zoom or Google Meet and aren't familiar with Webex. When we are hosting a big online event with public participation, we receive queries about this all the time. I wish the Webex team had worked more on branding and marketing to make many people aware but this is not a problem with software or functionality so it is not a big deal. Cons Recent changes to webex seem to have made things more confusing, like hiding an active meeting window behind webex and vice versa in a 'stack' rather than letting them float. The customer support has been very helpful and proactive I highly appreciate their support. Cons Webex Suite does not work perfectly when there is internet issues. Nevertheless I highly appreciate capabilities of this tool. It allows me to work remotely and still respond and communicate in a timely manner with our clients. Pros It allows myself and other coworkers the ability to work remotely while still being able to communicate with our clients. An added bonus is the ability to adjust the sound so you can only hear your voice and filter out background noise. Cons It doesn't seem to work the best on my mobile device. The browser app is definitely easier to use than the desktop app. Pros Webex Suite is used in my organisation as a support tool for meetings with other institutions. The meetings are easy to schedule and the app is user friendly. Cons If the Microsoft tools in the organisation are managed by an Admin, the integration of calendars, meetings with outlook are really difficult to manage. Constant relogin into the tool makes it less reliable when urgent meetings take place. Naturally you can end up using Teams. Review Source JA Julian A. I needed to host a large group of people for an important discussion, and Webex accommodated this quite nicely. Audio and video quality were excellent, screen sharing worked like a charm, and we had the option to record the session, but we ended up not doing that. Pros Webex is easier to use than Zoom or Google Meet, and has some features that are better than their competitors. Cons Even with a strong fiber optic Internet connection, we had some connectivity issues with Webex. We logged out more then once, then logged back in, in order to try and secure a solid connection. Despite this, I do not like that the link to use a web browser is somewhat hidden/obscured, and that if you opt to install the temporary program, it can be difficult to fully remove from your (Windows) system. Pros Great quality video calling for work meetings and conferences. Cons Difficult to remove/uninstall from end-user computers.
