Pros I experienced good quality video conferencing. The only reason to choose this over other like zoom or skpye or team viewer is that this software is more robust and reliable than others. Cons There are times when I was not able to connect to the clients with this software as it's easy to get connected through zoom and skype more easily. Works for everyone I have worked with. Pros This tool is the best of all the we conferences tools I have used. It is easy to install and use behind firewalls. The tool is great and will survive modern tools for sure. Pros There are many new products for meeeting and collaboration and they are great, however, i still love this product as this is a complete package. This might not have flash features such as backgrounds and all, however, for corporate this tool offers whatever is required for a meeting. Also, its customer support is great. Cons For some this tool might not be flashy or fancy or modern, however that is not a problem for me. Very reliable, with the possibility of setting up the waiting room and many security settings. I also like the option to join via phone call, sometimes useful for people in remote locations. Pros Cisco WebEx is easy to use. Call quality is very good. You can take calls over phone or laptop/desktop itself. Our attendance increased from 300 to over 500 people, we had excellent engagement in the Chat and the gamification, and our sponsors were as happy as they could be since we could not be in-person. Our big fear was that people would not network, but they did network with each other in Socio! Pros Socio had what we needed to upgrade our in-person conference app, then when COVID-19 hit they were there with support, suggestions, and training as we transitioned to fully virtual. Socio was the backbone of our conference, our attendees loved it , the gamification was a hit, and their Orange Glove service helped us make sure the technical portion of our conference ran smoothly. Now they are helping us transition yet again to a Hybrid conference! Cons It was difficult to figure out how the in-session streaming would work best, so we wound up using both Streamyard and Zoom. However, Socio has already fixed this "con" by developing an easier way to work streaming/embedding video into sessions. There are many customizable options once you take the time to explore them. Overall a good service. Cons I didnt use this app for 2 months over the summer and it looks like there was an update. I am not a fan. The layout looks nice visually but it either doesn't open when I click it or it takes a long time. The layout is different and confusing. I have to take time to relearn how to use it. I really liked the function to schedule ahead the meetings - you set up the date, hour and put in the e-mails of the participants to get notification via e-mail about how to access the meeting room. There is also the possibility to share your screen, so you can make a presentation. Finally, the audio and video quality of the meetings is great. Cons You can't record the session or have a meeting longer than 50 minutes with the free plan. But if you buy another plan, you will have many more possibilities. Working on an international team, I often need to find ways to keep everyone in sync, and Webex has been the perfect solution for me. Pros I've been using Webex weekly for about six months, and I always look forward to it. It's easy to use and has so many great features. The quality of the sound is amazing and it's super easy to get on with my remote colleagues in other offices all over the world. Cons Webex is still a great software and I use it for meetings most of the time. My least favorite thing about it is that there are so many different versions to choose from. I often get confused about which version to use for what meeting. Other than that, Webex has been my go-to solution for meetings & conferences. But otherwise it is a consistent platform that most customers can access. When you are in screen mode, the panels will block your screen for the customers, so you want to move them over. The lack of animation on slide decks is a bit annoying. Pros It does allow us to share with the customer. Most can access without any concerns from their IT It does have a recording feature Cons when a training is set up, you cannot change the host other than to reset the entire training. Only the host can see the attendee roster. They have a very visually appealing virtual event platform, and they make it super easy to download their events, and set them up the events online. They also provide a mobile app that can be used to track everything. Their networking wall has been very useful for me, especially when I want to reach out to the Tech community and ask my queries and their interest with respect to certain events. Cons I do not like that they don't have effective customer support like chat, which could help me onboard easily. I have to use their help articles and set up everything manually.
