Pros It's easy to use and it gives you the option to mute your microphone before starting a meeting, also you can turn off your camera before the meeting starts. Cons It can be slow sometimes and it's difficult to mute or unmute, when you're sharing screen you cannot move the bar with the options so it's impossible to navigate through the pages your visiting using your browser. As it is so widely used, it is rare to run into colleagues that don’t have it installed, or at least are familiar with it. Cons For external/customer presentations, it leaves something to be desired. In my role, I do many webinars for students around the world. At present, around 70% of my audience use mobile devices to tune in to the webinar. As WebX requires the download of a dedicated app, this seems to limit the number who tune in. I recently switched to an online browser-based streaming solution, which seems to have a higher yield for my audience. Very stable and meetings are easy to setup. Plenty of options to join including in-browser or by installing the WebEx client. Noise filtering is effective at removing unwanted background noise. My FAVORITE thing about this software is that when you record your online meetings the fantastic WebEx codec crunches it down into a crisp clear and tiny video file. Cons WebEx doesn't do a very good job of advertising that there is a simple editor available for the exported recorded meetings. Pros Great Cisco software I like because no matter where we are allows us to communicate by videoconference with several people at the same time, also not only can we speak by that method but while this in it can carry out the exchange of screen so that our colleagues can view projects more directly, also is a very simple tool to use and its interface is very nice and easy to understand and the best thing is that the calls have a stability extremely notorious so using this software to start meetings is very useful and efficient. Cons The only drawback is that if you do not have a fairly stable internet network, the call may be somewhat unstable, so if you want the software to perform as it should, it is best to use a good signal. At first, some of the controls did seem daunting but after a day or two of using it this soon faded. Doesn't seem to use as much bandwidth as other meeting programs as I've always experienced lagging issues with other platforms, never with Webex. I use it primarily for E-learning company/corporate curriculum and it has just the right features to ensure the meeting is as interactive as possible. Cons The controls as well as logging into the meeting were frustrating for me at first until I got used to the platform.
